A disappointing end to this series.

Actually rating 3.5 stars. This book was very very slow in the beginning. But it really came through in the end. But I still can’t get over the fact that it took me a little under a month to finish this book. Therefore the highest rating I could give it would be a 3.5.

Described: Third and finale of the Legend of Zodiac Legacy for the Fate
Grade: A-
This was the Final Adventure Been Told by Stan Lee a year before passed away
After I read 2 pervious, I finally finished it and here’s my opinion-
The Third is really good. This Focus about The Zodiacs And The Vanguard Are Stand Together as team to fight against the Maniac of the Maxwell’s Dragon to take over the world (😒 Yeah, Yeah. This is very predictable).
Anyway, The narration of this Pages is Great, But some were a predictable and something Missing, But it’s really good on strong narration for the Middle-Class Book. The Illustration of Andie Tong is And Always really great on a Pages on his Work (give him a 5 Stars and I love his Arts).
The Plot Are Good But Really Similar To the Conclusion And Some Moment Are unforgettable as great and some moment are dull. Characters are good but underdeveloped that should’ve give them a develop as the meaning as real. Some are Cliches of Superhero like always I you seem the superhero movies and shows the most as very boring and same. However, this Marvel Legend’s Message for the struggles of humanity and the Fate of the Power And The Book was really enjoyable with more mature thanks to him as co-Created.
This was the Interesting and Wonderful Adventure of Superhero and Martial Arts by Lee, Stuart Moore, and Andie Tong. And sadly, this is the last wok by 3 creators. I hope they made this animated adaptation but better than source material.
Here’s the Summary Plot (Spoiler Alert And Not Much)-
Note: I should’ve summary on a 1st and 2nd.
Part 1: The Mountain of Fire
Steven, Malik, Nicky, and Josie inside the Volcano to find the Maxwell’s Secret bass to find Jianyu and Want Return their Zodiac Powers Back after the previous event. When they find an secret base, Malik, and Nicky and Josie (a former Vanguard and former Villain) Fought Against Beta And Alpha with a powerful guns while Steven ran fast through tunnel then approach Chamber and then discover Hollogram Maxwell, which he’s not actually here, tell him that proving himself as the most powerful sign of the Zodiac. When he enter a Chamber, finally find The a Jianyu But been warned by the Ancient Zodiac Elder of Tigers said to him “Don’t” repeating. When he ignored the past Elders multiple times, he touch it then his vision is too much power and overwhelming, then he destroy Jianyu with spear. After destroy it in a second, he got his Zodiac power back as well as Others.
While Jasmine, Roxanne, and Duane somewhere inside of Volcano area to track to find jianyu and Zodiac’s Connection, Too as well as Kim’s whereabout somewhere in the cell after been captured by the Vanguard. And then been darted by Mince, a 15 years old female maniac scientist who not bluffing. They really had no back up plan until Jasmine Attack her with her Zodiac Rooster’s Sonic Sound From her Mouth. When that happen, the Volcano starting to eruption. And immediately escape but not without Others.
When they running, Steven asks Beta for Kim’s whereabout And She tell him that she at Cell #3. Steven run rush with his Zodiac Tiger Power when he arrive as quickly, he really thought she’s not here or really gone but she appear after escape with her Zodiac Rabbit’s teleportation. Steven and Kim quickly get through Mountain of Fire to Outside. After Nicky found them and cell Malik to lift with a helicopter and going to their safe place while Volcano turn a Burst and then Silent.
Note: Mount Merapi known as Mountain of Fire, were told as a Story of leader’s power and ignorance against God’s forces of nature. And who destroy the Volcano? Mince
Part 2: Mindscape
After they escape from the Volcano and return of their Zodiac power.
Roxanne confront Josie after being humiliated by her last year during Convergence, But Josie is not in the mood. She grew anger and attack Josie with her Sonic Sound. Then Josie, suprisingly, Zodiac Horse Power with Sonic Boom Sound as well, And Both Roxanne (Rooster) and Josie (Horse) combat fight with the Sonic Boom Power. After Roxanne overpower as couldn’t breath and Josie still stand as Control her power, Josie’s revelation was her father’s death. In History, she didn’t like him because he wasn’t nice to her and her mother, after her death. His father was her only family.
After Steven tell Kim her parents, waiting for her, somewhere in halfway quarters, he check the medical room to see Carlos, in a hospital bed, and Jasmine asks and tell Dr. Snejbjerg. After Carlos been brainwashed by Maxwell, she said nothing that she can do because he hasn’t a physical problem meaning his not body, but his mind. Jasmine only way help him is inside his mind with a small metal box.
When they enter Carlos’s Mind, Steven discover a memory of Zodiac ELders try to save the Villagers But been attacked by the Mongolian Warriors back in centuries ago. Steven is a Elder Tiger and saw Elders who Snake, Dog, Rat been overwhelming and Others Including Rabbit, Monkey, Pig been killed. After they been fainting killed after another by the Mongol Warriors, Steven (Elder of Tigers) Seen in Horror. When he close his eyes, and open and see all blackness. He look up and saw the Cycle of the Zodiac and heard of the voice of Carlos who trying to tell him something.
When Jasmine arrive, they want to help him, but Carlos explain to them that back in Australia, Maxwell invaded his mind to convinced him to control the Dragon, But Maxwell failed Meaning Dragon took Maxwell over instead of him Control the Dragon.
Then Carlos show the image of Lystria, a shattered building covered in sand and human skeleton was Destroyed the city during his Rises of the Power. Then the image of Maxwell talk to Jasmine about the Dragon cannot be leashed out by the Host as devastation of the Dragon for upcoming event. When Maxwell talk to Jasmine about Revelation, Steven never heard the answer and to us as reader.
Steven wake up and see Liam in person, after he escaped in Irish Prison with his Zodiac Ram Power Return, And look at Carlos in bed and Jasmine, Alive But unconscious while she in Carlos’s Mind. He had unexpected arrived, his parents who show them with their AES-512 encryption, a custom-built satellite unit. Steven’s Mom show him, Roxanne, Duane, and Liam the hologram of Akutam Island And Alaska been attacked then slaughtered by Maxwell’s Dragon, a physical for, take over his body into an enormous flying and fire breathing Mythical reptile-like Creature. Steven, Kim, Liam, and Roxanne started in conversation about their life and the clue of which place what Dragon Attack next, And the fate of the Zodiac. Part 3: The Descent
Jasmine, still in Carlos’s Memory, talk to Maxwell as the sun who help to guidance her to study herself. She realize Maxwell in her mind, not Carlos’s Mind. This Moment is their connection of their birthright as the power of the Dragon, But To Help her. The only hope to stop the Dragon is Carlos, who had more knowledge than anyone. They need his help.
Jasmine can’t trust Maxwell for the murder of her parent’s Death, but he show her everything what happened to her parent where she was 16 years old as young Vanguard brat who tell him that her parents having a parties meant spying, but she didn’t know. It’s her fault that he killed them for a mistake reason. She have to forgive herself when she lost someone she love but cannot lose Carlos and her team, then he’s awake.
Drill-Ship below down and enter the deep underwater is Tamu Massif of the ring of Fire. Roxanne, Josie, and Kim are doing something on the Volcano’s peak before Dragon next Attack it. While Steven, wear a suit, doing what’s right but been follow by his parents. They reach deep underwater the Mince’s lab and glance a Sha Qi Crystal with extremely energy as an active, which his parents develop under Maxwell’s supervision they say. Then realize a computer is a monoriting program that Control tectonic plates beneath the lap in deep underwater. Meaning they can use and stop it, But been compromise by Mince. She show them the screen of drill-ship (Roxanne, Kim, and Josie) chased by huge light mouth of a volcano moving as the appearance of Maxwell’s Dragon then out of ocean of an surface Henry fly through Skies. It too late mean8ng the World had come to End.
Before Mince about to press her button from pocket, Steven had a right choice I’d to talk to Mince about her deep secret hurtful feeling by her horrible father. She is vicious as Scorpion, But Inside she’s just a Kid. This show talk to a normal person with deep painful, Not with power or weild to communicate her. Mince felt unhappy and about let them go until Kim’s poof and punch her face. Mince felt like a fool and press it and the lab starting to collapse then disappear. Steven’s Mom quickly grab laptop then Kim held out of their hand one at time with her Zodiac Rabbit’s teleportation To escape.
Liam, Malik, Nicky, and Celine enter the base in Lystria But surrounding by the Vanguard Soldiers Including Alpha And Beta Who Been Mind Control an led by Vincent (Monkey) Who Believe “Dragon is our Future”.
Celine Hypnotize Vincent with her Zodiac Snake Powers to give Liam time to Attack several soldiers with his Zodiac Ram Power to stop and destroy one control tower which is dragon’s Mind Control. Then Liam, Malik, and N!ikcy with their OZdac. Powers To destroy 3 Control Towers And The Central Building been destroy.
Duane called Liam repeat, but unavailable, then look at the holographic world and seen many including the news, satellite video, and more. Then between the eastern and Western Hemisphere been a long line show the curved pattern of Ring of Fire that show spread meaning the plate slide become earthquake.
Liam called Duane that been take care of 4 Towers And Central Building And really thought that they stop the Dragon. Unfortuanlety, Duane say they didn’t stop the Dragon because Liam, Malik, Nicky, and Celine accidentally reduced its power meaning all Direction of Tamu Masslif Complex, is about to blow in quarter out of the Whole in the World. They realize the Dragon with Both Mystical And electromagnetic burst of flames is the Ring of Fire. This is the Zodiac Last Stand- Friends And Foes (Almost) all Together Fight Against The Power of Destruction. The Zodiac teams and former Vanguards fight with their Zodiac Powers, however, did everything they could but not enough, and Dragon still stronger than ever. However, Duane (Pig) And Carlos inventing the Bronze Cube with Shai Qi Crystal, Nut unsure to test it. Jasmine had no time from their specific language and take the Cube to Face Maxwell’s Dragon. She starting to open a Cube then Dragon start to get Shrinking surround by magnetic pull as trap inside of Cube. But it’s not over because Jasmine realize that Maxwell’s Dragon will return without been Control, Meaning Maxwell Control the Dragon, But only way to protect the World is Jasmine will Control Maxwell Inside a Cube To sacrifice Herself, because she’ll have a chance to make up for something. Before she shrink with her Dragon Avatar Inside a Cube as She’s Gone, She Say Goodbye To Carlos and give Steven in Charge of the Zodiac.
Epilogue-
Steven and Carlos in the Lab at Zodiac Headquarters, talking about their ongoing plan. After Steven’s parent left, Carlos give a flash drive, a video message by his father tell him about their business to do, and really proud of him with his gift of courage. Zodiacs And Former Vanguard start to have a Party. After Zodiac’s Cycle were broken, they doing anything they want with Zodiac Powers.
Seeing the Cube show the images on the pattern of sides:
1st- Dragon sought to destroy the human race
2nd- Maxwell’s Dragon And 3rd- Jasmine’s Dragon.
Vincent (Monkey) And Thiago (Rat), at Lystria, start talking to do what to do after Maxwell’s Gone.
The Ending is Short And really disappointing to close the Trilogy Complete, But a Little Satisfying.

But it’s not over because Jasmine realize that Maxwell’s Dragon will return without been Control, Meaning Maxwell Control the Dragon, But only way to protect the World is Jasmine will Control Maxwell Inside a Cube To sacrifice Herself, because she’ll have a chance to make up for something. Before she shrink with her Dragon Avatar Inside a Cube as She’s Gone, She Say Goodbye To Carlos and give Steven in Charge of the Zodiac.
Epilogue-
Steven and Carlos in the Lab at Zodiac Headquarters, talking about their ongoing plan. After Steven’s parent left, Carlos give a flash drive, a video message by his father tell him about their business to do, and really proud of him with his gift of courage. Zodiacs And Former Vanguard start to have a Party. After Zodiac’s Cycle were broken, they doing anything they want with Zodiac Powers.

bruh i did not like how this ended lol ☹️ like for this the be the third book not the best. Anyways the superhero concept was still good but they basically “killed off” one of the main characters that had one of the best character developments across the trilogy so yea little pissed. Also fuck the main characters parents like they were lousy/ low key neglecting their child and now they show up and everything is supposed to be fine?? Like they didn’t even resolve the issues that was there and kinda just glossed over it. Glad I’m done reading this, again the trilogy was pretty good but weak ending 2 stars

It took me a while, but I finally finished it! This was a really good book. I wish the beginning plot was a little more stretched out, but other than that this book was really good. I liked the ending of the series. It did seem to abruptly come to an end though. I liked the Epilogues. It is fun to imagine what happens after the book.

My name is Roxanne, and membership on the Zodiac team has changed drastically. Steven was able to restore our powers, but we've been joined by our former enemies to fight Maxwell, although the Dragon has totally taken him over. These people were trying to kill us only a few, short months ago, and now we're supposed to trust them? Steven's parents showed us a video of the Dragon's devastation in Alaska, but we aren't sure where to find the creature now. Steven doesn't know what we should do; he's had some disturbing visions from ancient Zodiacs, and he had a disturbing visit inside Carlos's comatose mind. The Dragon isn't human and wants to eliminate all of us from the earth. The Dragon is the most powerful Zodiac of all, and we've discovered it plans to coordinate explosions all around the planet. Steven's visions have told him he'll need to make a huge decision and he'll fail, but failure is not an option.
You need to read the first two books in the series. This book didn't have the direct focus found in the first two books. I knew the team would eventually need to face Maxwell/Dragon, but it was put on the back burner for awhile. The plot began with an exciting escape and reclamation of the Zodiac powers, but then it slowed down as Steven tried to figure things out and tried to form the new team. The action amped up again once the Zodiacs went out to stop the Dragon. Personally, there were so many characters that I felt like their relationships got watered down. There was Steven and Kim, Steven and his parents, the old Zodiacs and the new Zodiacs, Jasmine and Carlos and Maxwell, and additional relationships. There were too many to develop them all fully. Overall, I've enjoyed the series and recommend you give it a shot. It seemed like this book wrapped everything up, but the last chapter hinted that there might be more to come. I can't find a Zodiac Legacy #4 in Goodreads, although I did see a few books related to the series including a graphic novel called The Age of Bronze.

This book was underwhelming, in my opinion. The first book was just... plain good, I guess, and the characters felt more realistic. I don’t know how it’s possible for a plot to go downhill as the series progresses and for the characters to get worse? But this book sort of managed that, unfortunately.
Which is sad, because I loved the pictures- which were also better in the first book- and the story. Like the idea of Zodiac powers was so cool, but I feel like this book was a letdown. I didn’t like the ending, and Kim, one of my favorite characters, along with Carlos and Steven, sort of became a character that was there just for a romance. And the romance was cringey at best.

Un digno final para la saga. "El legado del Zodiaco" no es una historia rompedora y tiene sus defectos, pero también un encanto especial, acción a raudales, adolescentes con poderes e inseguridades, algún momento de humor y un ritmo que nunca decae.
Si tengo que elegir una de las partes, me quedo con la segunda, pero esta "Balanza de Poder" también es muy divertida. Sí, hay alguna escena que me chirría un poco, como ese dragón superpoderoso que no acaba de atacar o esa charla emotiva para desarmar a uno de los malos. Sin embargo, la sensación general es agradable.
Recomiendo esta trilogía a los seguidores de Stan Lee y los superhéroes, así como a los lectores que quieran una lectura llevadera. La veo especialmente interesante para adolescentes, aunque se disfruta con cualquier edad.

This series reads like a superhero/martial arts movie: a lot of action descriptions. The characters also engage in some deep soul searching while they fight the bad guys. I think the plot was weak in the way the story ended; events did not seem to unfold naturally, rather the story was forced to a conclusion in a way that was unsatisfactory. However, Stan Lee's empathy for the struggles of humanity was very much present, and made this read more enjoyable.

However, in this book series the characters have the powers of the Chinese Zodiac signs. In this book Steven is given a choice all of the tigers before him made as well. The other Tigers told him that eventually he would have to choose between his Zodiac friends and his family. Although Steven has a difficult relationship with his parents he refused to choose between his friends and parents. This book shows that sometimes the most obvious options aren't always the right ones. Instead of choosing between his parents and team members he talked to Mince and got her to stop the two tectonic plates from colliding. Maxwell, Jasmine, and Celine are some of the most important characters in this book. Maxwell being the leader of Vanguard creates an opposing side for the Zodiacs to face. However, at this point the Dragon Zodiac is just using Maxwell's body as a host. Jasmine is the leader of the Zodiacs and once held the Dragons power which creates more tension between her and Maxwell. We also learn that Jasmine told Maxwell information about her parents that revealed them as undercover spy's. Jasmine still feels guilty about it but she learned to forgive herself. In Carlos's mind she has to help him forgive himself to get him back to normal. Celine who worked for Vanguard in the other books has now reappeared after her sacrifice in Australia. She joins the Zodiac team and helps them find Lystria to stop the Dragons plans. This brings Celine's redemption arc full circle. Taking everything into account I gave Zodiac Legacy: The Balance of Power three stars.

The last book of Zodiac legacy is so good. Even after Stephen has lost his power he is still trying to save everything. But even after they soon regain there power there is an uncertainty. Carlos is brainwashed, Jasmine is heartbroken, everybody has lost hope, and none of the ex - Vanguard soldiers feel comfortable taking orders from a kid. Maxwell has the full -owner of the dragon and nobody knows how to stop him. Steven’s parents have come to help but they are just making Steven frustrated. For is you have read the past books you will notice that Steven and his parents don’t exactly have a good relationship.
I love the graphics again, and I like how everything came together. The book didn’t wrap up everything though. It left us with a cliffhanger. Which I am totally fine with if there was going to be another book but there isn’t. But everything else I think was amazing. It was captivating as always. And I have to say what happened to Jasmine was turn of events. Another thing I was sad about was that Jasmine didn’t get saved. Carlos was out of mind control and then Jasmine just went, I feel that as a last book it wasn’t exactly a good idea.

The Balance of Power is the third and final book in the Zodiac Legacy. Steven is now in command of the Zodiac group even though his powers have been stripped. Converts who now see that Maxwell is losing his grip on the Dragon power and his sanity have joined their group but don't necessarily like the idea of answering to a 16 year old boy with no military training. At the beginning of this book, Steven is leading them all on a mission to try and rescue Kim and also restore their powers. Steven must find a way to bring all of them together in order to defeat the Dragon, but the former holders of the Tiger power have come to Steven with a vision prophisizing a doom-filled choice that they have all had to make that Steven has yet to face and warn him not to reseek his power. Steven believes that the Tiger power is the only hope of defeating the Dragon and saving the world.
I enjoyed this final volume in the Zodiac Legacy. The story was action packed with lots of dramatic moments involving each member of the Zodiac team and even some still loyal to Maxwell - a well written, quick and engrossing read to top off this interesting series.

Very epic, no doubt about it. Lee needed a strong and epic ending to such a great series. There's a few things I didn't like, though. For example, Mince. She was cool and all, but I think it would have been better if she just would have been left out. I think they just needed someone to contend with Carlos, since he was a genius and all. I mean this is awesome, Steven saves the day, Jasmine was epic, Liam was ridiculously funny, Dragon is destroyed, etc. The whole thing with Jasmine at the end and the Jianyu substitute and all was, probably, a good idea. Poor Carlos, though. He just got to hang out with Jasmine at last and then she has to sacrifice herself to contain the Dragon. Crazy. Just crazy. I am proud to be a Ram after reading this series because I kinda FEEL invulnerable now to what people say and stuff and Liam is just plain awesome because he's Liam. I mean, seriously. Crazy funny round Irish guy gonna kick your butt. He's great.

16-year-old Steven Lee and the rest of the Zodiacs are back for another adventure, and this time the existence of everyone on Earth is at risk. Over the course of the last two books, all of the Zodiacs have come together with the idea that the evil dragon is really out of control, and it will take the powers of the other 11 powers to bring down the Dragon.
Like something out of an X-Men plot (with superheroes and villains coming together to fight a bigger evil), this book builds as different teams of Zodiacs work together on a plan to prevent the Dragon from gaining the ultimate power. The result is a pretty interesting tale and a nice conclusion to the series.

Well here we are. at the end of our journey with Team Zodiac... I won't lie when I say that I didn't expect it to end the way it did. the amount of dread I had built up anticipating the darkest of finales had me pleasantly surprised to see the ending that came out of this trilogy. The plot, the action, the stakes, and the characters all added to how amazing this finale was. My enjoyment with this book exceeded my overall enjoyment with the other two installments in the series I can confidently say that this conclusion to the Zodiac Legacy was solid and satisfying (without touching on spoilers, I don't think my heart would be able to handle any other kind of ending).

It was a satisfying ending, but it was soooo pedestrian.
I have come to like the story despite the comic-like writing, I have been enjoying the journey of the whole team, I honestly kind of expected a different outcome that does not skew in their favor, a plot twist, if you will. Instead I got a generic ending.
I honestly don't care if Jasmine is gone. Her character lacks depth and without Carlos, she's close to being useless. She could've died and I would not have cared. She's a badass in the first book and in the second book, she's a lovesick teenager with a Dragon inside.
Anyway, I had fun reading the series. I think 3.5 stars is a generous rating.

This is the third book to The Zodiac Legacy. It starts off with an action packed adventure to save their friend and get back their powers. In the last one, the enemy took all their powers and became the strongest of them all, the dragon. Except the dragon was too strong and took over his soul causing the dragon to be in control. Now the team fights the most dangerous creature on the planet. Steven, the tiger, leads his team into the finale phase of the battle, to truly defeat Maxwell. This is wonderful book filled with many battles and a lot of funny jokes to warm your heart.

A well written book from Stan lee, Straut Moore, and Andie Tong. I would recommend this because it is a story continued from a great storyline. Last book Steven got his Zodiac powers stolen from him. Now the story continues. After Steven’s powers had been taken from him for months. The man who has taken the powers from Steven is not even the biggest enemy yet. The Old friend Dragon has come back to take down Steven. Steven is not prepared yet because he does not have powers. But Steven comes back and fights.

Firstly, I really enjoyed this whole series! I hope there's another one cause I'm fascinated with these characters. Such a cool take on the zodiac animals and the people who represent them. I don't want to give any spoilers but I had to force myself to put the book down so I didn't read it all in one day! It is like an action movie and a psychological thriller all in one! Plus, it is co written by one of the greatest comic book men. This series could make a really cool movie!

This book was a disappointment. The dialogue was corny, Steven was as whiny as ever (maybe even more-so), and the ending was just kind of bland. I understand that Steven is young but, as I’ve said before, he is annoying. He’s not sure he can be the leader, but he won’t give it up to someone more experienced. He whines about his parents nonstop, and then when they’re there, he whines at them, and then when they leave, he whines some more 🙄 I don’t feel sorry for him because he drives me crazy. I didn’t even think the action in this lived up to the other two books and the plot was much weaker. I just thought this was a rather lackluster end to the series 🤷🏻♀️

Maxwell is consumed by the dragon power and Steven and the team are trying to rescue Kim. She left to check on her dad because of his heart attack. Kim was kidnapped by Vanguard group, that is headed by Maxwell. All the team members seem to have family problems. Even, the leader, Steven has family issues.
Great series. Hope Stan Lee continues making more of these adventures.

The book starts out with Steven Lee and his Zodiac team trying to find Kim, who's been captured by the Dragon's (Maxwell's) team. Steven Lee is set on a rollercoaster of emotions with Kim, his "girlfriend" and his parents. The team forms incredible bonds and is able to defeat the Dragon before he engulfs the world with everlasting flame.
