I love this story. I couldn’t put it down! Just when you think “Eh, I could stop here, one more page though..” and then BOOM! Plot twist. I have never read anything like it in all its glorious originality! It has very strong Sci Fi/Fantasy/Romance elements to it, and if you marginally like any of those genres, this book is for you!

I love all of the characters! They were written so well, it was very easy to become emotionally invested in all of them, even the ones you don’t really like. I persona

"As children, they protected their bond, and now he had come to terms with the fact they were grooming to be made for each other. To belong to one another". -Jeremy

Honestly, I have never read a book about time traveling and such, but I really enjoy this series!

Category Jeremy was a PERFECT reading for my exams period!
It was so realistic, it made me smile and laugh at some moments! Jeremy wasn't the only charcter in this book, we have "JARETH" and Elizabeth!
And please, WHO CAN FORGET THEM!!!!!!!!!
We meet new charcters too hmmm"Ceaser"!
I wasn't expecting this at all!
Instead of the first book, Beau and Jeremy are older now!
They take the best choices for everyone!
I think that this serie is just amazing and deserves more readers and fans!

Although I didn't fall head over heels with this sequel like how I did with The Guardian, I still found it highly enjoyable and addictive. I am really glad I picked up the time and read Category Jeremy. My knack for time travelling have been up-ed another level. This series just keeps getting better and better. It's a bonus that the characters are now more easy to relate to since they are living in a modern age.

Talking about the characters, the main character Jeremy Cameron Tremaine, in The Guar

You have no idea how hard it was to review this book without spoiling everything! After rewriting the review three times, I was finally satisfied with my review. This book is truly something that you must experience for yourself.

This book really surprised me, and I found myself very pleased by the end of it. Finally, we get to see the much talked about hosts in action. Though this story focuses heavily on Jeremy and Beau’s relationship, Elizabetta does a great job at balancing the stories romanc

I won this book in a giveaway and I was really intrigued by the description. I'll admit that I did feel slightly lost from the beginning of the book because there is at least one book that takes place before this one. There's time traveling that goes on though so it makes it all a little tricky.
Jeremy becomes a host for a hurricane when he is a young boy growing up in Louisiana - that is, his body can actually turn into a hurricane at will. There are powers as well as problems that come with th

(WARNING: There may be some mild spoilers for the first book, The Guardian, in this review!)

Overall I really enjoyed this book! I thought the character development was fantastic and I think that Elizabetta Holcomb's writing has improved so much with this book, which is the second in its series. The first book, The Guardian, focuses mostly on Elizabet and Jareth and I felt that, although good, there wasn't much character development and a lot of things were left unexplained (wormholes, hosts, gua

I was it by a hurricane, a tsunami, a volcano eruption! I was blown away, caught in the storm that is Category Jeremy. Thank heavens the 2nd book will be out sooner than later. And the better news is the next books will also be out this year. Jareth can't get enough of Elizabet. Jeremy can't get enough of Beau. I can't get enough of all of them.

I have so many feels about this book that I have to stop and breathe and try to write this review as coherent as possible before I hyperventilate.

Let’s talk about time travel for a minute. It’s a pretty tough, but interesting, subject to approach in a novel. There can be a lot of “science” behind what goes into the story, so getting it right is a major factor to the novel’s success. There’s also the butterfly effect to think about. If you haven’t heard of that, the butterfly effect essentially means if you go back in time and kill a butterfly, current time will be completely different from that one small change. So. How does messing with ...more

Review of Category Jeremy by Elizabetta Holcomb!
Soooooo Category Jeremy came out on the 1st of June and my copy was an ARC that I received from the author for a review.
I want to start with the rating this time. When I reviewed The Guardian, the first book of the Chronicles of Dover's Amalgam, I gave it a 3.5/5 stars, but to Category Jeremy I feel like giving it a well deserved 4.5/5 stars. And let me explain why. First of all I liked the fact that in this second book the main characters are di

OMG!!! Jdsshvdjkdvjsjjdjydnsjkfh!!

You know how in some series, the first book is the best and then it just gets bad! This is quite the opposite here!
I already admired this author's writing in The Guardian, but the quality of her writing in this book is incredible!!! It is beautiful, lyrical. The entire time, I had a clear picture in my mind of what was going on. Everything is carefully described. Anyone thinking indie authors can

Category Jeremy was even more fabulous than The Guardian! I could literally not put the book down, which resulted in me staying up late many nights "to read one more chapter". As opposedto The Guardian, this book did not focus on just 2 characters but on many more. Because there were more important characters in this book than there were in the first, you need to pay a little more attention to what you're reading to fully unders

This one was a little bit of a slow start for me. The story take place between two time periods, which I did not care for so much.

If you like time travel, suspense, historical paranormal romance this I would highly recommended you read this book.

This book is a fabulous read. Historical, paranormal reads are not my usual picks. This book is a diamond in the rough. Elizabetta has created a world that you will want to be in. Characters that you will not get enough of. And a storyline that is intriguing no matter which book you start with.

This book is the second installment of the Chronicles of Dover's Amalgam by Elizabetta Holcomb. I have read that this book can be read as a stand-alone if one is reading this and has not read the first book prior. When discussing first books, most of the time I love the first book to the moon and the second book is just so-so. A second book slump. That is not the case here because this book I loved to another galaxy. The first book, The Guardian, was good, but this was definitely my favorite. My ...more

If you read my review of the first book in this series The Guardian then you'll know how much I loved Elizabet and Jareth! but for the first quarter of this book I just couldn't stand them! I'm in love with "Chronicles Of Dover's Amalgam" series . I finished it in just two sittings. Just when I thought I would stop I read another Chapter and so on, just like that I finished the book. Its such an engaging & delightful story. I will start by saying, I love the cover. Secondly, I will say I read the whole book, without realizing this was actually the second book in a series, So I am kind of bummed I read it out of order. I would highly recommend this book, solely based on its originality. A boy who is a weapon of mass destruction, see's the girl he left behind 8 years ago? I'm all in! This book was a

This one was a little bit of a slow start for me, but once I got into it I really got sucked in. The beginning was a little bit of an info dump for someone who did not read the first book, presumably, so I may have had an easier start had I read The Guardian first. That being said, though, I really liked Beau and Jeremy and the dynamic of their relationship once I got further in. I also really appreciated the highly original world building. This book is a follow-up to the authors first book and the main characters from that book make appearances in this book which I really liked to catch up with them. The story itself seems to mainly be about the growing relationship between Beau and Jeremy although there is plenty of action and twists and turns to keep you entertained. There were a couple of sections I found a bit drawn out with information - the writing was so enjoyable that I didn't really mind it. Can't wait for the next book.

The author weaves an original storyline filled with a cast of relatable characters. The family dynamics as well as “workplace” dynamics are nicely developed. The prose is clean and the dialogue suits each character. I enjoyed the world-building and the intriguing powers certain characters held. If you’re looking for a new fix, I recommend you try out this series.

Paranormal books are usually not my favorites, but I have the say this book is the exception to that rule. I loved this novel. Children with Autism are so special they all deserve to be superheros. I loved how the story came together and I found myself wishing dreams could come true. BRAVO Elizabetta.

I almost enjoyed The Heir more. The Heir trust sucked you in and held your attention. This one was fun and enjoyable, but the story played catch up in the beginning. This made it a slow start and pretty boring. The story had some twists one superheroes, but I just wasn't "into" this story like I was the first one.
