For some reason the baby does not care for any of the images at all. I am also confused as to what kind of Spanish this is because some of this words I have never heard in my life such as: pélela (potty), medias (socks), sonajero (rattle), cobayo (guinea pig).

This book was put on my baby registry and purchased for us by our friend/colleague Liza.

This is Zia's favorite book. I don't know what it is about the pictures, etc., but...she loves it. She can't get enough of it. She looks at it several times every day.

I've been reading it to her since she was born. At first, every day, but now only when she asks because she, I think, has it memorized, she just refuses to speak...my hypothesis is that the two languages have created a delay, and eventually she'll start speaking with both in their nascent form.
