Stephen McNeil is a very strong man. Serving eighteen months overseas and experienced in special forces serving his country just like his brothers and father had done. At age twenty-nine though he didn't think that his world would come crashing down on him, by becoming a hero and saving a friend from being killed he ends up falling on the battlefield and a knife left behind on enemy lines stabs into his leg, cutting right into his bones. When the doctor tells him that he can't go back, afraid that he's going to injury it again and possibly not be able to walk the rest of his life he is told that he is going to work behind a desk for the rest of his life by his commanding officer. Is not something Stephen McNeil had in mind when he took on serving for his Country but he sucks it up and decides to do the best he can with a small limp in his leg.
Stephen McNeil is called to take on a job as a bodyguard in Los Angeles he thinks it's going to be a piece of cake. He has to serve and protect the rich young woman named Alley Griffin, never thinking that he might actually find himself in a dangerous situation but trained for anything that might come his way, when he finds out that someone from the heiress's family is out to kill her he is watching every move that's made, making sure that she survives the ride that he thought was going to be nothing but a cruise around the block.
