I’ve become quite a fan of author Diane Dickson and read many of her other books and Twist of Truth doesn’t disappoint.

In the opening, we meet Simon Fulton, a man recently released from prison for the murder of his own sister. He is filled with resentment and bitterness because he has spent years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Returning to his home town he is ripe for revenge and justice.

But avenging the injustice of his situation isn’t nearly as black and white as he believes. And tho

This is a carefully thought-out story which, like many of Dickson's books, has you thinking you know the ending, to then deliver a barely hinted at surprise. In Twist of Truth we follow Simon Fulton who has been made responsible for a crime he did not commit. But beyond his desire for revenge lies a darker, more sinister truth that will threaten everything when revealed.
Compelling crime fiction at its best.

Finding the truth

This a well written, thought provoking yet tragic story. Desiring explanations and revenge, he is consumed with his plans. Gloria helps him discover the truth about himself as well as the truth he seeks.

Incredible book

Interesting story. Great attention to detail, and enough twist to keep it interesting. Trying to read some of the British "mannerisms" was a little odd at times, but helped with the setting and ideal.

Good story. The character served his time for a killing that he did not do. Simon was cleared because the killer was discovered. He met a lady that owned a bed and breakfast and became good friends. The story ended good but not the way I would have liked it.

Twist of Truth follows Simon returning to his hometown after several years in prison paying for a crime he did not commit. Hell-bent on getting revenge, he must learn just how much he is capable of and how far he will go in his search for truth.
Good characterisation and twisting plot carry this novel forward. Pacing is excellent with the reader kept in the dark right up until the climax. The reader really empathises with the injustice done to Simon, who goes from motivated by revenge to searchin

The book held my interest, even as I waded through the amateurish writing.
After having spent considerable time in prison and surviving attacks by inmates, the main character should have had more backbone. Too much sorry, sorry.
If you like happy endings, don't read the book.
