You've all probably heard of Abbey Clancy, one of UK's most successful and in demand models. She's also a presenter, a mother and wife, and a UK brand ambassador for many top brands of today. As of recently, she's also an author after publishing her debut 'Remember My Name' with MIRA just a few days ago.

Seems like Abbey really has it all, both the looks and the talent. Being a blogger for quite som

Remember My Name is the debut novel from Abbey Clancy, ghostwritten by the brilliant Debbie Johnson and so, combined, the book provides the perfect blend of Scouse, humour and entertainment, with all the components of a fab beach read to lose yourself in this summer.

A fun read from page one onwards, Remember My Name tells the story of Jess, a down-to-earth Liverpool girl who has dreamt of being a star ever since she was a teenager. Jess felt very real and likeable and because of that, I was roo

This was Abby Clancy's debut model and I'd seen her interviewed about it and was keen to get my hands on a copy of the book. She is married to a footballer and models - so she is writing about the world of fame and fortune that she knows well. It was lovely, glitzy read. Perfect for curling up and losing yourself in a bit of glamour for a while- a nice quick read.

Jessica is desperate to become a singing sensation and the book starts with her starring in a school production written by her best fr

I was surprised and intrigued to learn that Abbey Clancy had written a book, as a fan of her husband Peter Crouch and supporting her on Strictly Come Dancing.

I do realise that a lot of readers have a love-hate relationship with celebrities writing books, and some would go far to say that they have had ghost writers in place of them. However, I wasn't going to judge the book on this. If I enjoy a book and it was written by the named author and a ghost writer then okay, but it does suck if they a

I read an interview with Abbey Clancy when she said this is like a Mills & Boon book. Well it is published by Harlequin, but it is nothing like a Mills & Boon unless Abbey still thinks they feature no sex as nowadays, M&B have some steamy scenes not the old fashioned sex behind a closed door which is what Abbey's book features but also, M&B stories are romantic and the story is based around the hero and heroine. This book is not really a romance.

The writing style is very easy flo

As soon as I spotted Abbey Clancy's debut, I knew it was my kind of read, as I love going behind the scenes of the crazy world of glitz and glamour, and I was not wrong. Remember My Name is a really fun and entertaining story about a girl from Liverpool who becomes the new musical sensation overnight and the consequences it has in her life and her family's.

I think that I enjoyed this novel so much because I instantly liked Jessica and

Remember My Name deserves the five stars I'm giving it for no other reason that it successfully took my mind of various things that had been spinning around in my brain when I wasn't reading. It is the perfect mix of light hearted romantic comedy, a tale of unexpected celebrity, and just a lot of fun.

I loved reading about the parties that Jess gets invited to, both as she is starting out, initially as a Disney princess, and that particular party where she was Elsa, will stick in my mind for a w

Now, I may be biased because I come from the greatest city in the world but I do love a good book set in Liverpool. And that is exactly what you get from Abbey Clancy’s debut novel Remember My Name.

The story centres on Jessy Malone, a young girl with a big dream and who unfortunately has never had a chance to have her talents seen…except by children as she performs at birthday parties dressed as Disney princesses. Hardly rock and roll. However, a chance encounter changes all that and Jessy’s lif

As this was Abbey Clancy’s debut novel, I was very intrigued to see what she had to offer. Well, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it.

It follows the story of Jessy Malone from Liverpool who is keen to make it as a star. The book opens up with a very funny scene with Jessy dressed up as Elsa trying hard to please her young audience, while slowly sinking in to the mud. This makes for a great opening and really caught my attention straightaway.

I really liked Jessy (or Jes

I would like to thank netgalley and MIRA for the free copy I got sent in exchange for my honest review.
I picked this book because of the blurb not because who had wrote it, if anything it made me think twice about reading it as I have read some books written by celebs and they were just awful in every way but I'm pleased to say this wasn't one of them!
The book is based around Jess who is a young all singing all dancing children's entertainer from Liverpool. It follows her road from rags to riche

Although this book was easy to read and moved quite fast, the story was very predictable. Almost within the first few chapters you could guess how it would end and what would happen along the way.

The writing was not fantastic, at one point I noticed a whole paragraph had been copied from one page to the next page.

I think I enjoyed the light relief of the book and the escapism from a world I have no desire to be part of but I wouldn't be in a rush to read it again, recommend it or think about it

I enjoyed this "chick lit" book by Abbey Clancy, nice light, and fun,
Jessica wants to be a star, she HAS to be a star, but is it what she really wants?
Jessica's character is one that we can all relate to, as if she has been a friend for years, so thanks Lovereading, x

Abbey Clancey can't write books. She's just a model, right? Wrong! I loved this book! I hope we get another one about Jessy. This was such a fun read. Very impressed!
