S.M. Donaldson is a born and raised Southern girl. She grew up in a small rural town on Florida’s Gulf Coast, the kind of place where everyone knows your business before you do, especially when your Daddy is a cop and your Mom works for the school system. She married one of her best friends at the age of 20 and has two sons. She is a proud military wife, has always had a soft spot for a good story, and is known to have a potty mouth. At the age of 31, she decided there was no time like the present to attempt her first book. Sam’s Choice was born and she hasn’t stopped since. If you are looking for a good, steamy, Southern set romance with true Southern dialect, she’s your girl.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, anger, secrets, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Letting Lox In (Marco's MMA Boys #1)
In Sly's Eyes (Marco's MMA Boys, #2)
Holding Huck's Heart (Marco's MMA Boys #3)
Gaining Gibbs: Gaining Gibbs (Marco's MMA Boys #4)

This is Roxanne and Jacob’s story. Jacob is tired of working for the good guys but still having to let the bad guys get away with their crimes. He leaves the CIA but agrees he will help out of they need him. Years later he is helping his sister and her child when the agency calls on him to help out. Roxanne is all about the agency but what happens when you lose everything. Can you try and rebuild? When her past comes back and secrets are revealed will it be the end of her new life? Will she have to start over or will Jacob be the one that helps her out? As they test their limits and fight for what is right they have to decide if they are fighting for the same cause. Can they really be together when they believe in different things?

I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.

Jacob Exposed book #5 in the MMA Boy Series was a great 5 star read told in alternating POV.
This is Jacob and Roxanne’s story and it was great.
All I can say is wow, the way things started out for Roxanne was very shocking and heartbreaking. She is a very strong woman.

Jacob is a hot alpha male who is smart, caring and very protective, he has worked off and on for the CIA for many years. He ends up moving to be closer to his sister and her family.

Jacob and Roxanne meet early on in the book and have a hot and steamy one night together, they unexpectedly reconnect a few years later. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and the sex is even hotter.

We have a benefits relationship, but I wouldn’t say she’s my girlfriend.

This story is really great. There are several unexpected twists and there is a part with Roxanne that was very hard to read. My heart was breaking for her. You will laugh, cry and want to bang some heads together. We also get to see all of the MMA boy’s and their families. The ending was great. I highly recommend you 1-click and get started on this great series today.

Warning: there are some things that may be triggers for some readers.

WOW! JUST WOW! Jacob Foster has been living his life shrouded in lies and secrets. After a string of bad cases for the CIA, he walks away, sick of all the politics, and moves home. As the years past, he gets contracted from time to time, but all in all, he lives a life of normalcy. Roxanne Gilliland has only ever known the ATF her entire life. She has always planned to follow in her father's footsteps, and has no problem living the life of a nomad. When a big case goes bad, taking everyone she loves away, Roxanne decides she's had enough, and walks away for good. The day Jacob shows up on her porch, is the day she has to face that past case again. She had hooked up with him, and she never forgot that night. Now as they spend time on the case together, they both find strong feelings growing quickly, as the years didn't take away the connection. But will Jacob and Roxanne finally be able to put this case to bed once and for all, before anyone else gets killed?

This book started out with a bang, and I never caught my breath again. S.M. Donaldson did a brilliant job with twists and turns that had OMG moments all over the place, and kept my heart racing cover to cover. There are some harsh events that happen, and were realistic in what would really happen in cases with UC females. The character development is great, with a highly entertaining cast of secondaries. The dual POV made the story even better in my opinion. These two had some serious flammable chemistry that exploded into FIERY FLAMES of sexy scene goodness anytime they were in the same room that nearly melted my kindle. It was awesome to catch up with the past people in this series, and well placed humor gave me a break from the high intensity. I'm always on the lookout for new books from this author, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is book 5 in the Marco's MMA Boys series and is about Jacob, Sloans brother, and Roxanne. I've loved all of the books in this series but I think this may be my favorite, It is darker than the previous books and has some situations that may cause triggers. Jacob seems quite intimidating at the start, and he is a force not to mess with when it comes to his family. Roxanne softens him a lot, but he still has an edge that makes him the perfect alpha male. Roxanne was tough, at first I wasn't sure about her, she was difficult to relate to, in my opinion, because she was so hard, and she didn't show emotion all the time, apart from maybe anger. She actually turned out to be the strongest female of this group, and i ended up being completely invested in their story. Plus there were some unexpected twists that kept me glued to my kindle. I couldn't put this book down, i got from start to finish in a few hours because it was just that good. I would definitely recommend this book, but for a full back story read from Letting Lox In.

I received an ARC of this book in return for my honest opinion!

Jacob Exposed is book #5 in the Marco's MMA Boys series! I highly recommend that you start from the beginning and read each book in order. Although it is not required to understand and enjoy, I do feel that it will help you get the best experience from the series as each book builds off the last and sets the stage for future books.

Wow. Jacob turned into a very intense and hard hitting book. I am just blown away. Ms Donaldson really out did herself once again. Although there is a HEA ending, this book is far from a "story book" tale. Be prepared to be on the edge of your seat and on a crazy rollercoaster of emotion. This book has it all; suspense, love, lust, lies, secrets, betrayal and most of all HOPE!

In this book you get a little better look into Sloan's brother Jacob's life. His simple carpenters life is not what it seems. Retired from his secret life he is home and trying to live a regular life while watching out for his little sister. Everything seems okay, until he is reunited with an old college. She seems to be in more trouble them either of them could have ever imagined. This is where it gets interesting!

Warning: There are some very explicit scenes of sexual abuse. I think that the author portrayed in the best way possible but I know this can be a trigger for some.

I am just head over heals for Jacob, just as I have been for each and every book in this series. SM Donaldson has done an amazing job creating a series that builds and grows from each and every book as this has. I can't wait to see what else this series has in store for us.

If you’ve been following along with Marco’s boys, you met Jacob Foster a while back. However, we only knew him as Sloan’s brother; we had no clue what kind of life Jacob really led. Former CIA, he now works contracts undercover as needed, but he’s tired of that life. Tired of moving around, tired of not seeing his family. But when a case hits too close to home, he has no choice but to take it.

Roxanne Gilliland has worked undercover for years. Growing up the daughter of an ATF agent, she’s lived that life as long as she can remember. But when a case goes bad and takes literally everything and everyone in her life, she’s done. Except the bad guys didn’t get that memo. She tries to move on—new town, new life—but the past always has a way of landing on your doorstep, both good and bad.

Jacob and Roxanne worked together before, and when they’re forced together again, old flames reignite and burn even hotter. But it’s just a fling still…right? When secrets are exposed and it comes to fighting for your life, who will come out on top?

Mrs. Donaldson has done it again! Another FANTASTIC 5 star read. As the warning says, this book is a lot darker and touches on a scary subject, but it is still such a great story. Roxanne has to be the strongest female I have ever read about to survive all that she did. You don’t HAVE to read the others in the series to keep up with this one, but you’re missing out on a lot if you don’t!

4.5 Stars!

Marco's MMA Boys is one of my favorite fighter series out there. With each book in this series, they continue to get better and better. While this is a complete standalone within this series, I recommend reading these books in order for maximum enjoyment.

S.M. Donaldson took this book in a whole new direction for this fighting series and she did it absolutely brilliantly. Jacob Exposed was amazing. This book was sexy, sweet, suspenseful, angsty, intense, passionate, and had quite a few twists along the way.

This is Jacob and Roxanne's story. From the beginning, these two will suck you in and won't let go until their story has been told. Secrets. They threaten to expose it all. And the past.... is colliding with their present. It's about to get complicated... in a big way.

Jacob and Roxanne are going to put you on an emotional roller coaster on the way to their happy ending. You will go through a range of emotions, some being harder than others, and find yourself rooting for them but by the end, their journey will be worth it.

I highly recommend this book.

I am a HUGE fan of S.M. Donaldson and I have been looking forward to Jacob and Roxanne’s book. She definitely didn’t disappoint!!!!! I was hooked from the beginning and didn’t want to put it down! I will say this book contained some scenes that I wasn’t prepared for and didn’t expect. However, those scenes helped to make this book what is it. I really enjoyed this and I think it is probably one of my favorites in the series. Both Roxanne and Jacob are badass agents and seeing them work together on a case was great! The chemistry between the two of them is smoldering!!!! This book definitely has everything in a book that you could want; laughter, sex, angst… The list could go on! I highly recommend this especially if you are a fan of Marco’s boys!! I can’t wait to see what S.M. writes next!!!

Where to begin with Jacob's story? This one was action packed from the first page. Roxanne is a member of a top secret ATF team trying to take down a huge bad guy. It all goes wrong and everyone ends up gone. She leaves.

Jacob has worked for the CIA for years, covering his lies with a construction story to his family. His sister has married Lox and he decides he needs to be back closer to family. Still contracting, he is assigned a case, that has him working on the same case that changed Roxanne's life.

These two work together to try to bring down the missing man that has ruined Roxanne's life and destroyed her family. These two had all kinds of chemistry and they begin having some fun while trying to figure out how to get Roxanne safe.

This was a fast paced story that had lots of turns. I loved that the other guys were involved and we got updates on everyone!

What an amazing book! It's awesome the way Mrs. Donaldson mixed the 5 previous book to complete Jacob story. To read this book you definitely have to read the others first to understand the full lenght of the story. Jacob character was pretty good, he's smart, caring, and of cuorse gorgeous in his own way.
Raxanne character was even better, she is a strong lady like no other, she survived really awful things in her life, she lost everyone she loved because of her career choice, and at the end she has to sufer the most horrible thing a woman can take, she was abused sexually, that part was pretty hard to read, but with help she can feel again after all those things, and that is pretty amazing. if you read it the others books you need to read this one too. It will surprise you!

This one is pretty intense. I liked the characters and revisiting those MMA guys. This one is also very heartbreaking especially for Roxanne. All I can say my hearts goes out to her through out this book. I'm so glad she has Jacob and the other fighter guys in her corner. There is one part in the book that was just too intense and I had to skim it. I just couldn't bring myself to read it word for word. For me that was the only thing I didn't particularly care for in this book. I can pretty much put up with a lot when it comes to reading, but that was a limit for me. I would say it would be a trigger for people. Otherwise I enjoyed the book. It had a lot suspense to it , but also passion. A good storyline that will keep you hooked and ending that will satisfy you.

Wow! Really loved this story, as it had me gripped from the very first page, although I must admit I was a bit apprehensive beforehand as the synopsis seemed so different to the previous books in this series. However, it really was fantastic, and I loved Jacob and Roxanne who, after everything that was thrown at her remained so positive and kick-ass.

As for the final few chapters, it was hard to read at times and had me totally on edge, but I just couldn't put it down. The ending though, was genius and a little inspiring if I'm honest.

Overall, definitely worth reading and can certainly be read as a standalone, but honestly, this whole series is worth checking out.

Once I started this book I couldn't put it down. I rarely finish a book in one day but I had to with this book. I have been anticipating this book since I know it was comming out. It was action packed just like I expected and I loved it.
I love the mma boys and Jacob isn't the typical mma boy but he fits in with the rest of the group.
This book can be a stand alone book but if you haven't read the previous 4 books it will leave you wanting to read them.I couldn't put those books down either.

Jacob isn't one of Marcos specific boys. However, he is Sloan's brother and contract CIA agent. He moves to the same town as his sister to be close to her and his nephews. Well, Roxanne is an ex-CIA agent that had a flings years ago with Jacob. This book is dark but has to be for the lifestyle they lived as agents. It has a great ending! The book also includes the other boys and their wives and families in it. Definitely a must read!!!
