This is a beautifully illustrated, delightful book of endearing young characters. There are three stories in it: Alfie and Bernard (in which Alfie and his best friend enjoy the library); Alfie and the Scooter Race (in which true friendship is demonstrated); The A B C (in which Alfie and Bernard make a special meaning for ABC).
