Legacies aren’t meant to rise from incredible odds. This is the saga of Sebastian and Evie, a harrowing, thrill-ride of a love story that neither of them will foresee, and the Tribe of Five will be stunned to discover. Sebastian Christos is expected to live his father’s life, working for the seedy underbelly of the Greek mafia. Evie Neal’s future couldn’t be more different ...more

The story picks up where Ruby Ink left off. It switches from the past to the present and back again quite smoothly. I enjoyed how Evie and Sebastian discovered each other and revealed how different the worlds that they belonged to really were. Evie's background was almost cult-like. Her sect was at once free but strict. Evie seemed to have an innate curiosity that the other members lacked and it helped her to form a connection with Sebastian.

Meanwhile, in the present, Alec and the rest of the Tr

Oh. My. God.
I thought I was in love with the first book but after reading this beautiful masterpiece of a book, I can't choose which one I'm in love with the most. So I won't.
It's been SO long-too long- since I've loved a romance series as much as I do this one and I couldn't possibly be more thankful for Wilson than I already am. The suspense L.J. weaves alongside the steamy and swoon-worthy romance is a magnificent and delectable treat.

I'm excited to finally bring THE MISSION, Book Two in the Clairmont Series Novels to readers! In Ruby Ink we get to know the Tribe of Five--Alec, Aaron, Honor, Jake & Troy. We indulged in the suspense-filled love affair between Aaron and Ruby. Did you guess the ending?

Just as their story comes to a hard-fought but satisfying end, readers are introduced to another Clairmont mystery. Evie and Sebastian, the parents of the Clairmont siblings, who were lost in a plane crash over a drug-rich Colombia

The Mission is book 2 in the Clairmont series, and having just finished the first, Ruby Ink, I was anxious to continue reading about The Tribe of Five, as the siblings in the story are called. When Ruby Ink ends, the siblings have received some news regarding the discovery of plane wreckage, and they believe it was the plane that their parents were in when they crashed and perished in the jungles of South America. Oldest sibling, Alec, flies down to investigate the crash site, hoping to learn mo ...more

The Mission is everything it promises and then some! I was anxious to read this book after really enjoying Ruby Ink, the first in this new series. The Mission has great characters, a riveting romantic suspense storyline, and a killer of a cliffhanger. While it’s not imperative to have read book one in this series I highly recommend it before diving into book two—mostly because Wilson has created such well-developed characters, and actually an entire family history, that you won’t want to miss an ...more

Love this book and those Clairmont men! After reading the first book in the series (Ruby Ink), I couldn't wait to find out what happens next to the "Tribe of Five." And The Mission doesn't disappoint. The series centers around a family of 4 brothers and a sister, who were orphaned when their parents' plane crashed in a remote area of South America. In The Mission, the eldest Clairmont brother and ex-Navy Seal Alec sets out - with his good friend and roommate Jess - to find the wreckage of that p ...more

deep100% great read!!

This is the second in a series and while it is about the same family it switches family members to the parents story. It is an amazing story. So much depth and history and shows why the kids were raised the way they were and the intense bond between them all. This book is just such a great story with a love story and suspense

Evie and Sebastian are the most unlikely of couples. She comes from a conservative religious sect; he's a bad boy from the Greek Mafia. Yet when they meet, their chemistry transcends their differences. This novel has everything: a poignant love story, a thrill ride of a mystery and an engrossing continuation of the Clairmont series. ...more

In Ruby Ink, the first book in the Clairmont Series, we meet the fabulous Tribe of Five- five tight-knit siblings. After having raced through Ruby Ink, which left us hanging in agony, I was anxious to read Book #2, The Mission. In The Mission, we meet Evie and Sebastian, the complicated parents of the Tribe of Five. L.J. carefully and brilliantly weaves the past with the present, taking us on a wild adventure filled with suspense and romance. I absolutely LOVED this book. L.J. is a master at sto ...more

This is an intense story. I thought Ruby Ink was a roller coaster but it has absolutely nothing on this one.

This story covers different time periods. The flipping back between past and present isn't for everyone, so please be aware of that point as you consider purchasing this story. The past gives Sebastian and Evie's full story: how they met, what happened after, the choices they made, the effect those choices had, the life they led that was nearly void of everything they'd once been a part of

I have struggled over this review because I'm determined to keep it spoiler-free and I think that every one should experience the roller-coaster that is The Mission for themselves.

Ms. Wilson takes us back to where everything began in this suspenseful, emotional and sometimes difficult to read installment of the Clairmont series with the story of Evie and Sebastian, the parents of the Clairmont siblings. An unlikely pairing of the woman from a conservative religious sect and the man with deep maf

The Mission....Beaumont book 2

Let me start by saying this book was not in my normal reading preferences. However I've read book 1 and let's say curiosity got the best of me. The series will get you buy knowing you'll get multiple book and the family you get consists of 4 brothers and there sister. Being orphaned after there parents die in a plane crash in remote South Africa. Alec the oldest and his friend Jess set out on a mission for answers. You will enjoy two stories of Sebastian and Evie th

I dashed through Ruby Ink L.J. Wilson's first steamy Clairmont novel. I loved the solid mystery and character development that was paired with some window steaming sex scenes. I was anxious to see if the momentum could roll into the sequel The Mission and wasn't disappointed. The Clairmont books center around a family of five children (Tribe of Five) who were orphaned when their parent’s plane went missing in the jungles of South America. The Mission begins where Ruby Ink left off, but switches ...more

Excellent Read --- I haven’t read the first book in the series but from looking at the reviews, I somewhat feel like maybe this should have been the first story--- There is a dual story line in this book. The present day story focuses on the Tribe of Five searching for answers related to their missing parents. While the past, it told as a love story of the Mission (Sabastian) and his love Evie. The story can be a little hard to follow because it switches from present day to past but if you sta ...more

Okay folks, I just have to say, if you liked Ruby Ink, you will love The Mission. Whether writing as Laura Spinella, or L. J. Wilson, The Mission is Ms. Spinella's best work to date. I was so fortunate to receive an ARC of this book, and I literally could not put it down. She takes the "Tribe of Five" to a fantastic new level and spins a web of unimaginable deceit and lies, into a beautifully tragic love story. Each character evolves and grows. The story takes you to unimaginable places and leav ...more

This was a new author and had not read the first book prior to reading this one. Due to reading this one,I purchased Ruby ink. Enjoyed the getting to know the siblings and finding out about their parents story. Good characters with unusual settings. Felt it had Clift hanger ending.

Outstanding! Having torn through RUBY INK, I was desperate to get my hands on book 2 of the Clairmont series, and LJ Wilson does not disappoint. As she expertly weaves the past and present together, there is plenty of sexual tension, action, mystery, drama, and gloriously messed-up--but heroic--guys to keep you flipping pages well into the night. Now I'm desperate for #3 in the series! ...more

Amazing writing. Story is set at a fast pace that keeps you fully immersed while reading. The main characters, Evie and Bash, are not only solid on their own, but have an amazing dynamic together. Definitely recommend!!
