Cranky - The Book Curmudgeon

**** 4 Cranky Stars ****

I feel the very first thing I need to say is that this is a very dark read, for adults only. The book contains very explicit content, on many different levels.

The tamest of these is the BDSM content, and there is absolutely nothing tame about that. Since the whole 50 Shades phenomena, I have read so much more about domination and submission than I ever thought I would, but this book goes more deeply into that than probably any other I have read. Quite frankly, I am read

Unjustly Destroyed picks up where Incapable ended. Without spoiling that ending, let's just say that Emmalin starts building those walls again. And Grayson notices it immediately.

What does this do to Grayson and Emmalin? It damn near destroys them. Emmalin keeps pushing and fighting and wants to do things on her own. Grayson doesn't want to be pushed aside. He doesn't want to take that submissive role. He is the Dominant. He is the protector. And he feels like he is f

I really enjoyed Incapable, the first book in this series. Emmalin and Grayson, have had, it seems, everything possible thrown at them and yet they still remain strong.

I love their relationship, its kinky, sexy, caring, and even with all their issues they just work. Emmalin is without doubt a survivor and in this book, she starts to again keep secrets from Grayson, and he feels she is slipping away. Unbeknown to him she is desperate to protect him, even though she knows it means a lot more pain

And Unjustly Destroyed begins the way Incapable was delivered. DRAMATICALLY!!
Instant heart in throat, breath catching. Instantly. There I was, thinking there is no way the second book could top the first. If anything, I underestimated the capability of this author. The first paragraph had goosebumps rising all over my body. The anticipation was beginning to build and I was still on the first page. It is that good.

Unjustly Destroyed by Marie Skye is the second book in the Incapable Series. It can be read as a standalone, but I suggest definitely reading the first book because it gives you a better understanding of both characters and it also was a great read! This book completely blew me away-the twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading.

Without giving too much away about this book, Emmalin continues to not have an easy life. With her past coming back to haunt

Unjustly destroyed is the second and unbelievably amazing book in the Incapable Series by Marie Skye. It follows on from where Incapable left off; and if you haven’t read Incapable yet- you really should because it’s honestly THAT GOOD! Reading the first book also sets you up for this one and will allow you to fully appreciate this story.

Oh my goodness, she did it again! I loved this book as much as the first. Sometimes when you have a series with a powerful first book, the following book/books don’t seem to hold up and this was not the case. I cried several times during the heartbreaking moments and got so into the book at one point I was up a lot later than I should have been, but I could not put this book down. I found myself getting frustrated with the characters especially Emmalin.

This story is without a doubt AWESOME!!!! Everyone should read this story who loves to get sucked into a good romance that has everything in it from love to violence. It is the 2nd book to a phenomenal story that I will love for years to come!!!

In my opinion, the author has done something that many authors are unable to do and that is to write an incredible story that is spread out into three books. I have found that when the story is made into three books that the story has gone on for way too

Unjustly Destroyed by Marie Skye, is the second installment in her series. Book 2 picks up where Incapable left off. The only thing we know is that Emmalin is in danger and Grayson can only hope he gets to her quickly. I must begin by saying that just like book 1, book 2 grabs hold of you and doesn’t let go. It’s a page turner!!!
Emmalin is still troubled by her past, pain is the only thing that can seem to calm her down. Grayson is trying with all his might to get her to overcome that pain and f

I recommend reading book #1 Incapable prior to reading this review, it may contain spoilers.

I couldn’t wait to see the conclusion to Emmalin and Grayson’s very emotional, kinky and drama filled story. As soon Unjustly Destroyed landed on my Kindle, I went full on into reading mode. This book was everything I imagined it would be. It was wonderful, filled with secrets, drama and suspense. Will Emmalin and Grayson finally get their happily ever after?

5 out of 5 stars

The story Unjustly Destroyed (Incapable Part Two) by Marie Skye is one of romantic suspense. The story picks up where book one left off with Grayson and Emmalin in Florida for a good time. There is someone else there as well. Someone who was part of Emmalin’s past and wants her to be in pain. This someone wants to hurt everyone she loves. Emmalin shuts down and starts lying to Grayson about where she goes and refuses to discuss

Unjustly Destroyed by Marie Skye is the second book in the Incapable series, and it is not work safe and for sure an adult only book. You could probably read this book as a standalone book, but I would recommend reading the first book before this one if you haven’t already. I was not disappointed, I loved it just as much as the first book. Incapable must be read before this book – Unjustly Destroyed is not a standalone novel.

This is a continuation of the life of Grayson Mandrake and Emmalin Ross. You should read Incapable first. I must say at the very beginning of this book I wasn't happy and didn't know if I was going to be able to finish the book just by reading the Prologue. I'm glad I ignored my thoughts and kept on reading.

This book was emotional roller coaster for me. I sometimes wanted to throw my

Unjustly Destroyed is the second book in Marie Skye's series, I highly recommend reading Incapable first. This is a dark series.

Emmalin is hiding from her past and her secrets. She's having ding from who she really is. But her pat is back to haunt her. To destroy her once and for all. He's going to ensure she's in pain and Emmalin is going to do anything to protect herself and Grayson. Even if it's the last thing she ever does.

I started writing this review while I was only 10% into the story. Here’s what I was thinking: WTF! OMG! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? So of course I kept reading! Loved Grayson but...

Just when Emmalin seems to have found her forever with Grayson, someone from her past threatens their happiness. This is the second book in the Incapable series (presumably of a trilogy), and is not a standalone as it continues from the first book and ends in a cliff. It's fairly deep into the sadism/ masochism part of BDSM at times, and also gets pretty dark at others, which could be triggers for some people.

This was a technically well-written book, without grammar errors or
