My nephew has had this book checked out from the library for over a month now. He absolutely adores it. He takes it to school for "show and share" day, and this is currently his go-to reading material. I don't know what it is about this book that has him so enamored. It's just your typical elementary school animal book, and we've read plenty of those with no ensuing book lust. But he's into this one--Maybe he just likes geckos. We're going to have to buy this book, I'm afraid, because I think that's the only way I'm going to be able to pry the library's copy out of his hands! I may have to drop him into the book return along with Geckos.

I thought this book was pretty good. The author has included a lot of information about Geckos.

Informative but not helpful towards the ways of educating the readers on how to care for their pet and what is needed to keep the pet happy.
