George Carlin is back and he's funnier than ever. The Atlantic Records companion album to the four-time Grammy Award-Winning comic's 13th HBO concert, Life is Worth Losing, is another Carlin classic, a collection of side-splitting riffs and splenetic rants that cut straight to the heart of 21st Century America. Recorded live at New York City's Beacon Theater, Life is Worth ...more

George Carlin has a way of looking at the human race and stripping away the BS society we live in to show how we have lost our humanity.
It's funny and eye opening.

I was feeling a little depressed, so I thought "a funny comedian is the perfect answer!"

And then he started talking about how hilarious suicide is...

Ok, so most of the performance was fun. He made me laugh, I thought about some things in a different light, he really was a funny philosopher rather than a comedian but sometimes he pisses me off too.

I mean it’s true and it is excellently written/performed, but I can’t seem to laugh or find it funny. I did pick a book called – Life is worth losing, but I guess everything was too much for me.

If he’d only lived to see the cherry or rather orange on top, he’d have material for a whole series of unfortunate events books.
