Sidney Sheldon (1917-2007) was an American writer who won awards in three careers—a Broadway playwright, a Hollywood TV and movie screenwriter, and a best-selling novelist.
His TV works spanned a twenty-year period during which he created I Dream of Jeannie (1965-70), Hart to Hart (1979-84), and The Patty Duke Show (1963-66), but it was not until after he turned 50 and began writing best-selling novels such as Master of the Game (1982), The Other Side of Midnight (1973) and Rage of Angels (1980) that he became most famous.
I literally cannot rave enough about this .masterpiece sidney Shledon (R.I.P) my love has created.I am mesmerized with each and every book i read from this author and this was phenomenal.how each and every thing was so meticulously thought out.would recommend to all thriller mystery fans put there.
Added 4/9/16. (first published 1987) My records show that I read Windmills of the Gods long ago and I didn't like it. Don't know why. Can't remember anything about it at this point. I'll have to search for my notes. Perhaps my notes will refresh my memory.
I would have given it 0 stars if I could. To be blunt, I didn't like it at all. It was very boring and more or less predictable. The author has written much more interesting/intriguing books than this one
Beautifully unfolded, chapter to chapter with waves of mixed emotions and suspense. I would sure read these books again. This is my first two Sidney Sheldon books, and certainly won't be the last.
