Love and War is a sensory experience, with writing that pulls the writer in to the life of Dru, who must keep from shifting to her hidden faerie side for the safety of herself and her closest friends. The dialogue is witty and combative, the sexuality smoldering and edgy, and the author gives the reader plenty of romance to counter the macabre happenings facing Dru and her allies. A must read that fans of Deborah Harkness and Patricia Briggs will enjoy.
