Now, this book was really helpful to me! With the ideas offered in this, I was able to get my student from a low first grade reading level to a fourth grade reading level. The strategies for comprehension are very helpful and they actually work, echo reading is also very helpful. I love the tests at the end of the book and used them all the time-really great for finding out student reading difficulties! My only problem with this was that the games were a little outdated and I ended up using other sources for game ideas. Other than that, great read!

This book was super helpful! It gives a lot of great suggestions - both theoretical and activity-based - for a variety of reading problems. I can see myself turning to this book time and time again when I encounter specific readers :)
