Not a well written book, but the story was very interesting.

I expected to be captivated by the living-on-the-edge experiences portrayed in the real letters by a British midwife working in coastal northern Labrador in the 1970s, and that indeed happened. A delightful surprise was being even more drawn to the contemporary story of the letter writer living on the edge of memory loss. Well done!
