After opening a doorway to 1812, Nicole fell in love with a Sioux warrior. She brought him back to the twentieth century. To keep his identity a secret, she calls him Rave. When they go with friends to a cabin for the weekend, they cross paths with a motorcycle gang in Kings Ridge. They conspire to hunt Rave like an animal. To get him to comply, they kidnap Nicole. Have they taken on more than they can handle? Nicole. The gang leader wants her, but her soul mate needs her. Which man will win?
Tammy Tate was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida but has lived most of her adult life in Texas. Her passion to write began in high school. It follows her everywhere she goes...creating a world where anything is possible. She's been married to the same wonderful man for over thirty years. Her secret to a long marriage? It's easy when you marry your best friend. In her world, Friday night is still date night.
Before she became a full-time author, she was an Executive Secretary, a Computer Consultant/Technician, and a Communications Officer (Police Dispatcher). She doesn't mind a challenge which has allowed her to race a late-model in a women's powder puff race, run barrels and poles in a play-day rodeo and drive an 18-wheeler. Somewhere in between, she and her husband raised three wonderful children. When she's not breathing life into her characters or jotting down ideas for a new book, she and her husband are exploring country roads on their Honda Gold Wing.
Since she believes reading is the next best thing to writing, she enjoys romance, fantasy, science fiction and thrillers. In December of 2013, she signed her first book contract with a traditional publisher. Her books have made Amazon's Best Seller list.
THE FORBIDDEN PATH IS BOOK THREE AND THE FINAL BOOK N THE SPIRIT PATH SERIES. I AM SORRY TO SEE THE SERIES END. THE BOOK TAKES PLACE RIGHT WHERE BOOK TWO LEFT OFF. RAVE AND NICOLE GO ON A WEEKEND EXCURSION WITH THEIR FRIENDS AND NICOLE IS KIDNAPPED BY A BIKER GANG. WILL RAVE BEING ABLE TO SAVE NICOLE IN TIME?
I REALLY LOVED THIS SERIES. I LOVE TIME TRAVEL ROMANCES. I THOUGHT RAVE WAS REALLY HOT AND GORGEOUS AND HE WAS PERFECT FOR NICOLE. THE AUTHOR HAS ALOT OF SECONDARY CHARACTERS THROUGHOUT THE STORY I REALLY LIKE. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR EACH OF THEIR STORIES. I HAVE TO SAY THAT RAVE AND NICOLE ARE MY FAVORITE COUPLE NEXT TO SAM AND JOE. RAVE AND NICOLE'S LOVE RUNS SO DEEP AND THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO BE TOGETHER. THEY FACE MANY OBSTACLES BUT IN THE END THEIR LOVE WINS. IT WAS NICE TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE CHARACTERS AND WHERE THEY ENDED UP.
THE SPIRIT PATH SERIES IS A MUST READ FOR ANY ROMANTICS OUT THERE. IT IS FILLED WITH A LOT OF ACTION, SUSPENSE, HISTORY AND TIME TRAVELING. THE CHARACTERS ARE SO BELIEVABLE AND REAL AND THE AUTHOR LEAVES YOU WANTING MORE. YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH RAVE AS I HAVE. HE IS SO HOT. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED IN THE SERIES. THE AUTHOR DOES A WONDERFUL JOB PORTRAYING ALL THE CHARACTERS, THEIR PERSONALITIES AND EVEN THEIR FEELING. I LOVE TAMMY TATE'S WRITING AND I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT BOOK OR SERIES SHE WRITES. SHE IS A WONDERFUL WRITER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU READ THIS SERIES AND ANY OF HER BOOKS.
Nicole traveled back in time twice to the 1800s but now she and her sexy Sioux warrior live in the present day, 1997 Texas, and life couldn’t be better for them. Sure, Nicole is worried she’ll magically time travel again and possible leave behind her best friend Tracy and the love of her life, Flaming Arrow, who she now calls Rave after a funny incident in a grocery store, but she’s trying not to let that bother her. When she and Rave, along with Tracy and her husband Michael, go to a cabin for Memorial Day weekend, her happy life takes a turn for the worse. Rave is wonderful and drool-worthy as always. Cody and his gang of bikers aren’t the kind of bad boys us female readers like to swoon over. They’re the real deal when it comes to being very nasty people. Nicole is spunky, smart and determined to survive her latest catastrophe. She even learns how to control her time travel power. I couldn’t have been happier for her. What an incredible gift to have! I loved this book. It concludes Nicole and Flaming Arrow’s story and I’m going to miss them. All the loose ends are tied up, as far as I could tell, and I was very happy to see how everyone’s lives turned out in the epilogue which is 6 years later. This book will definitely make you smile. 5 Stars.

I couldn't put this book down! After a couple of frustrating non-starts (life happens) I finally sat down and read undisturbed. About 5 hours later, near midnight, I was reading the epilogue with a sense of deep satisfaction. What a gripping story! Author Tammy Tate developed her characters in such a way that I felt intensely connected. I could see myself as part of their inner circle, enjoying their company and sharing in the adventure and danger. I love stories that pull me in, and The Forbidden Path did not disappoint! You must read this one!
An outstanding time travel novel, the Spirit Path Book 3 is the final installment in the Forbidden Path series that follows modern-day Nicole and her 1812 Sioux warrior boyfriend Rave. I hated to see it end. This would make a terrific movie. Well-written characters, an exceptionally good storyline, and an interesting supporting cast make this book a great summer read. I highly recommend it.
I really enjoyed this time-travel romance. I've never read one before, but I'll be reading more after this one. I love the Sioux warrior, Rave, who has been transported to modern day from the 1800s. You can't ask for a sexier leading man! The plot was captivating, the characters well developed, and the writing smooth and well-paced. I definitely recommend!
The Forbidden Path, book number three in the Spirit Path series, continues the story of romance writer Nicole. I have read all three and this is my favorite. In Book One, Nicole goes horseback riding, not knowing that the events of the day will forever change her life. A deer leaps into the path and spooks her horse. Thrown off-balance, she falls off her horse, lands on a rock and gets knocked unconscious. When she comes to, Nicole finds she has traveled one hundred and eighty years back in time to the year 1812. She falls in love with a Sioux Warrior named Flaming Arrow, but her time with him is cut short when she returns to the present year of 1997. In Book Two, with the help of the Sioux warrior's granddaughter, Nicole returns to 1812 and Flaming Arrow. And somehow she is able to bring him back to the present with her. Now the poor man has to adjust to her era. At the beginning of Book Three, Flaming Arrow appears to be adjusting to the twentieth century with the help of Nicole's best friend Tracy and her husband Michael. He even has a job and drives a truck (without a license of course), and even a new name. In order to keep their time travel and his identity a secret, Nicole calls him Rave, short for Raven. Life is good. On Memorial Day weekend, the two couples head to the family “cabin” for a three-day vacation. On the way there, they stop for beverages at a convenience store. A man at the gas pumps warns them that the town near the cabin is having trouble with a motorcycle gang and they should be careful. But Michael and Tracy aren't worried. “We’ll get a bite, pick up some groceries, and then get back on the road,” she tells Nicole. But, no one smiles or talks at the restaurant, the lone waitress is rude and when she appears to get in a fight with a customer, no one seems to notice or care. Then eight leather-clad motorcycle riders saunter in like they own the place and the tension in the room accelerates. When Nicole and Tracy return from the restroom, a teenage girl whispers as she passes, "Leave here. Get as far away as you can..."
