I loved all the visuals! For all the info within, it's not overwhelming. The info is spread out and presented in a logical, accessible way. I really liked seeing all the pics of the sharks - especially the Shy Shark!

Marine theme: Read this with two 5 year olds who were fascinated by all the shark facts. It is a very visual book with tons of photos which worked really well for us. We also liked some of the extra content - like the flow chart to help identify sharks, the interview with Rob Allen (photographer + diver), and the scale diagrams to help illustrate the size of each shark species : human diver.
Miss 5 and I like to explore different books and authors at the library, sometimes around particular topics or themes. We try to get different ones out every week or so; it's fun for both of us to have the variety and to look at a mix of new & favourite authors.
