I received this book via a goodreads giveaway.

This is quite an unusual book. The author admits that he is an accomplished magazine writer of fiction, that would be basically what you are reading; a magazine serial. I love weird and this started out great. Unfortunately, by the end it was just confusing. Characters with multiple names, weird violence, and a structure that starts and stops without warning had me going back and forth just trying to figure out who was doing something. Still very creative and interesting.

A sophisicated story, and I think a lot of it may have gone over my head. Could have used a good, dedicated book group to study this one with. Liked the premise, though.
