4 books1 followerAnn Wicker was in the newspaper and magazine business for many years. A graduate of Davidson College, Ann also has an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte. She edited Making Notes: Music of the Carolinas, a nonfiction anthology idea she took to Novello Festival Press. Ann has been a presenter/panelist at several book festivals, and her work has also appeared in a number of magazines. She has edited numerous books, including helping Ann Moses write her memoir, Meow! My Groovy Life with Tiger Beat’s Teen Idols.

This is a collection of short articles and stories about musicians and musical venues in the Carolinas. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who has an interest in music or in the Carolinas.

If you love good music and good stories about making good music, and good stories by musicians, you'll love this book. Great concept, fascinating read.
