Backbenchers- 3 Days of Summer
The Backbenchers: 3 Days of Summer is the 3rd book of the Backbencher series from Sidharth Oberoi. The book brings to the readers a story of four students from a premiere school in Delhi. They unknowingly become a part of a mysterious adventure trip that tests their abilities and turns out to be an event with dangerous and hidden plans. The other two books from the Backbencher-series were plots around the school lives of its characters spiced with school romance, while this third book of the series has rekindled the last two books netted with unpredictable secrecy.
Ananya, the prime character of the book is taken to Tamil Nadu for a photography project along with three of her schoolmates Natasha, Shreya and Yuvraj. The expedition gets a charismatic teacher Mitali Roy joined in to get all of them working with a renowned photographer Sanjib Desai. Sanjib and Mitali reflect a story which is a subject to unleash from a reader's point of view and this unspoken past between both builds a plot for the students where they find themselves in a threat appearing large on their heads. in the meanwhile, a love story also sprouts between Ananya and Yuvraj, which is questioned under such undesirable circumstances.

A very weak attempt at weaving a story using old and new characters and inculcating adventure trip as a backdrop.
The boldness and the excitement is missing in the first half. The second part has some fun elements in it.
The lead protagonists are neglected way too much in the story. The new ones like Mitali Roy have been portrayed very well.
The school saga continues sans school this time but lack of curiosity and no freshness in the writing style makes it a dull book.

Hatke compare to both prequels
This is very different from the series books.writing is good.story is also good.But not about school n backbanchers.Its about adventure n all.

The backbenchers was a book i picked up out of boredom. There it was lying idly in a bookshelf filled with trashy books from 2017 (*looking at you 50 shades and Sylvia Day).
Anyways, to get to the point, this book was okay-ish.
It was short and easy to read. I didn't particularly like the way this author used specific words but it doesn't really matter. I liked Natasha and Mitali the most. The rest were fine. It was a bit adventurous and romantic. It wasn't a great book by any means but it wasn't terrible either.
The best part about this book for me was, Sanjib Desai being exposed for his disgusting behaviour.
Overall, it is the sort of book that you read when you are bored and don't have anything to do.
Do i recommend? If you're already reading this then why not? ;)

The story is great. Any teenager would love this. The way the story goes, the twists and the characters made me fall in love with this book. Their unity made me awestruck. I would realyy love to read the other two books of this series.

I don't like this bk. I read half way through the bk and then I left it there. It will be okay if you skip this bk and jump on to the last bk.

Last part of Backbenchers trilogy .. So this time our group is out of school and in the jungle to attend a photography workshop with a famed photographer. Same light read.. It was a nice series.
People who don't read generally ask me my reasons for reading. Simply put I just love reading and so to that end I have made it my motto to just Keep on Reading. I love to read everything except for Self Help books but even those once in a while. I read almost all the genre but YA, Fantasy, Biographies are the most. My favorite series is, of course, Harry Potter but then there are many more books that I just adore. I have bookcases filled with books which are waiting to be read so can't stay and spend more time in this review, so remember I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

i have mixed feelings very mixed feelings about this book.
I didn't like the story. actually there not much story in this book. there are many lose ends. i didn't like the desai character. it do not add much to the overall series.
but all said, i really enjoyed reading it. there are many flaws in this book . but while reading it you will not get bored. Also its very short so you can read it in like 2-3 hours.if you have just finished a large book, or if are in a reading slump i will recommend reading it . it like those shows on channel v. its not great but you will not get bored either.
ps: i love urvashi character, i hope next book focus more on her.

I dont totally regret buying this book but seriously it lack good narration, yes by good I mean really good narration. They went on a trip and there could be a lot to describe. It was pretty nice book although not as good as 1st and 2nd parts

Better than Chetan Bhagat... that isn't too much of a complement :P
It's my first read of the Backbenchers series, so it was nice to see very believable Indian students - neither ridiculously stereotyped, nor over Americanized.
That said, there were pacing flaws and other negative stuff :(

The dialogues surprisingly improved a lot. The plot was quite silly and predictable. However, I found it better than the previous books.
