I dove into this because there is a trilogy that follows and it was a freebie. This book is not an overdone category and it speaks to my love of taboo (teacher/student). This is the prequel to the Glass trilogy which is around 600 pages long with both this and book 1 being free right now.
Janie is a 21 year old recent graduate of drama school and Daniel Glass is our sinful director. Janie is filled with desire for Mr. Glass in both the wanting to learn and wanting to love aspect.
I wanted to say take me across your knee and spank me for being late, for not eating properly and for being lazy about exercise .
Janie has a very dirty mind which when reading you are kind of putt offish with the language (it is quite immature) but yet intrigued. this could reasonable be added as a chapter one to the beginning of the trilogy truly. because the exact minute you are into the book and the story its throws a huge plot twist and ends abruptly. I am unsure if I will continue the trilogy but I have book 1 ready when I become ready.
What the hell was that?? I knew that it was going to be a short story but that is not what was I going to get it had about 20 damn pages thought I got a bad copy. By the time I was really sucked in the damn thing was over. Okay now that I have calmed down...What little bit that was given to read I loved it. I left me wanting to read more about Janie and to see her life play out and wonder if she ever gets to taste Daniel Glass. I believe that Arianne Richmond should think about writing about Janie...hint hint
Janie is 21. Daniel is 30. He's a hot-shot Broadway director and Janie lusts after him during rehearsals. He's teaching her to be better at her craft and she holds him up to a god-like status because of his many talents. This was a very short read with a cute twist at the end, overall, an okay read.
Woah, I wish this was longer! Glass was the perfect filler between all of my crazy novel-blogger reads! It was fast, short, steamy and fun and left me wanting more at the end!
Can't wait till Arianne makes this into a full novel!!
Wow. It was really awesome. Complete reading it in less than 30 minutes. Its not just erotic story, but full of emotions also. I just amazed to read its ending part! Really a page turner with good narration.
Glass is a stand-alone short story to be enjoyed in one sitting like a candy bar. But unlike a candy bar this erotic tale is good for your health! Unwrap and devour in one quick go. Indulge.
Janie is fresh out of drama school. She has landed her first job - a leading role in Daniel Glass’s new theatre production. Devastatingly handsome director, Daniel Glass, is the hottest thing to hit Broadway. He has the Midas touch - all his directorial productions win accolades… Janie is thanking her lucky stars.
He’s tough, he’s demanding, he’s a perfectionist.
And Janie will do anything to please him.
For readers 18 + (one stand-alone short story - 5,500 words, approx 27 pages).
☆ I received an ARC via the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you! ☆
I had originally read this series novel as a three part trilogy and being able to read it again in one whole complete story in one was a treat in itself.
Bk1 Review- Shards of Glass proved once again why I love Arianne Richmonde’s books so much. It was hot, it was eloquently written and executed, and most of all, we got to see characters from the “Pearl” and “Star” series! Woohoo!
Author Arianne Richmonde invigorates and gages readers into a forbidden twist of an up and coming stage actress and a famous director. Only, that director happens to be married.
Until! Fate tragically, yet coincidentally steps in, and Daniel Glass finds himself a widower.
Now with destiny bringing Janie Cole and Daniel back together within each other’s midsts, and Daniel calling the shots in his and Janie’s personal and business lives, how will everything turn out? And with lines being blurred and things entangled in an ever-growing web, will Janie’s biggest obsession turn out to be the man of her dreams? Or will Daniel’s scathing shards prove to be her greatest downfall? Read and you will find out!
Bk2 Review- Arianne Richmonde does it again! Utterly rips out my heartstrings and leaves me hanging by a thread!
Ari is clearly one of my favorite go to authors as she wounds an intriguing web of steam, suspense, and thrilling surprises that kept me on my feet.
Janie sure has a lot on her plate as she juggles her budding career, family and friendships, along with her dumbfounding status and romance with the enigmatic Daniel Glass.
And let’s not forget all of those twists and turns, push and pull that ensues, and that big cliffy at the end!
Gee, Janie just can’t get a break, can she? Haha
Anyway, LOVED this following installment in the Glass Trilogy and can’t wait for the upcoming finale! It’s going to be pretty bittersweet for me!
Thanks Arianne for shooting over this ARC to my kindle!♥
Bk3 Review- Wowza! Did Arianne literally go there with the third and final counterpart of the Glass Trilogy. Daniel and Janie's love was put through quite the ringer with his psycho ex-sister in law who has a unhealthy obsession with him.
Sometimes obsessions run deadly, and with everything at stake, how will our duo make it out of this spellbinding and suspenseful conclusion?
#An absolute MUST READ! Hearts of Glass has everything from love, mystery, danger, and heart pulsing action that will keep you at the edge of your kindles! Readers one click this now!!
I adore Arianne Richmonde’s style of writing and have enjoyed all of her others books a great deal. I usually stay away from novellas because i crave really long stories that envelope you into their world. This book was a great story but left me feeling so incomplete ....like I was brought to the edge of release and then left wanting for hours. I hate that feeling. This story had some serious potential to turn into a raging love story! I liked the story but the way it left me wanting more left a bad taste in my mouth, so to speak.
Quick short erotic story! I was bummed it ended quickly. I won't give anything away! But.... That was a shocking surprise! I didn't see that at all! That's what made it great!
I Enjoyed reading Glass. It's a short story of Janie and Daniel. Janie wants Daniel and tries everything to Please him. I want to read more of these characters. I will be starting Shards Of Glass. I Would Definitely recommend everyone to read it <3
Didn't like how obsessed she was.. it was honestly way to much for mthisame with the pace of it was a little messy, event hough I know it is supposed to just be a short story. However I am gonna let it slide and hope that the next book is better.
I also had somewhat considered something going on with that natasha girl the first time he had mentioned her. But the ending?! That's insane, I did not expect her to be THAT special to him.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
The story had a simple but built up plot and has a cliffhanger which is inviting enough to want to read the next book. It had no grammatical errors and the descriptions were good. If you love short, erotica romance with cliffhangers, you should check this out.
Loved it and if I could give it more stars I definitely would!! The complete series of Daniel and Janie in one book with NO CLIFFHANGERS..Yayyyy. Janie is a theater performer that is madly in love with her director Daniel Glass almost to the point of obsession. When she finds out he is getting married she is crushed and losses contact with Daniel. Janie is chosen for a lead in a new movie only to find out Daniel, a widower now, will be her director and all her feelings of love and obsession come slamming back. Daniel tries to convince Janie of his feelings to her are true and even confess to her secrets of his past marriage. Just when things are going great someone from Daniel's past come back to tear them apart. Will they be able to go forward with their life or is Glass truly life shattering? This story is a must read!!! The chemistry is totally of the charts. Glass has everything you need, love, passion, suspense, laugh out loud, tears and of course it won't be complete without the psycho trying to ruin everything. I loved visiting characters from other series, Pearl, Eloide, Star, and Sophie (Hooked Up), but you will not be lost in this book if you haven't read Arianne's previous books. You will definitely want to read this and other Arrianne Richmonde books they are must reads and you will not be able to piggy them down. Thank you again Arianne Richmonde for another outstanding book.
Well my goodness, this book will certainly take you on a roller coaster ride by the time you reach the end. I will say that I wasn't sure how I felt about Janie at the start of the book, she seemed to be so naive it was enough to make my teeth hurt (and usually only pralines do that), but I remembered that I didn't make the best decisions when I was in my early 20s either. What I did appreciate is that Janie actually realized that her infatuation with Daniel wasn't the healthiest, but at least she didn't resort to any Fatal Attraction behavior. This is actually a trilogy, and the first two parts are all in Janie's voice, the last part is a dual POV of Janie and Daniel.
They're reunited (as it were) a couple of years later, and in the process truths are revealed about Daniel's marriage before his wife died. Not only are those truths brought to light, but we also learn about the small matter of the impersonator, and that part of the story is the set up for the last part of the trilogy. The last part of the book is where all of the crazy is unleashed, and it was the type of crazy I didn't stop reading until I got to the end. We'll never know exactly what Elodie did, but damn that girl is a badass! The last couple of chapters are even more surprising, but I loved the way the story wrapped up. Ms. Richmonde has provided another outstanding book!
I'm new to this story as I didn't read the previous version of this story but omg this book is awesome!! A must read!! Literally couldn't put it down it will keep you on the edge of your seat!! It's HOT, heartbreaking, suspenseful, & Awesome book!! Pre order it now!!

This book was originally a 3 part trilogy but has been put in one complete story. I would rate it more 3 1/2⭐️'s as I felt even though the story was great it got little bit far fetched towards the end with everything. It was a good read though. It's a nice story of love with quite a few twists and turns
Janie Cole is an theatrical actress who has had an obsession with her director Daniel Glass for years, unfortunately he is married to a gorgeous actress. Fate tragically steps in and Daniel is left a widower, will she finally be able to get the man of her dreams?
Their relationship finally moves on from professional to personally and you learn that all was not as it seemed between Daniel and his wife. Things are finally going the way she wants until a misunderstanding between Daniel and her brother ends up with Daniel in hospital in a coma.
This is where is I start having a few issues, although I did enjoy the books. Daniels dead wife's sister turns up after his accident and is coincidentally a neurosurgeon and she becomes Daniels primary doctor and moves to rid Janie out of Daniels life with underhanded psychotic moves. Janie has to fight for Daniels life, love and safety
I am not sure where to seat my rating for Glass, some areas are an easy 4 star read but there are also some areas that warrant 3 stars.
Firstly Janie, wow, I was up and down about how I thought of her, I didn't like her desperation over Daniel at the start, but it was necessary to lay down the foundations of what comes next. But I couldn't gel with her too well because of her fixation on him to the extent she was.
Daniel, well Daniel to me was a bit of a see-saw too, sometimes dominant sometimes very romantic and sensual and too soft.
All in all the story was a good read, for my taste it didn't contain much apprehension, considering the thriller element but was definitely still a good read. If this had some oompf it would have that wow factor and then be an excellent read.
Arianne has a good writing prose, sometimes her sex scenes have identity issues, not sure whether to class them as contemporary when words like throbbing rod are used or erotica when indeed explicit words are used. They are penned well enough even with the difference of vernacular.
I received a copy of Glass to review and I'm glad I did. The story wasn't quite what I was expecting but all in all I enjoyed my romp with Daniel and Janie.
Janie Cole is a young actress who has an unhealthy obsession with her director Daniel Glass. They worked together on a play a few years ago and she almost didn't survive her unrequited love for Daniel. Now he is back and wanting her to act in a big blockbuster he is directing. She tries in vain to keep him at bay and her emotions in check, but when she discovers Daniel has feelings for her they both get caught up in a whirlwind romance. But, this will not be an easy journey for these two love birds.
This is definitely an emotional roller coaster ride of a story. So much happens to both Daniel and Janie, it's almost too much. I had a hard time following what was happening, at times the story didn't feel cohesive, it was all over the place. I wanted to love this book but something was just missing for me. It's not bad, but I couldn't connect with the characters and the story line just didn't work for me.
Janie had a crush on Daniel from the moment that she met him. Daniel on the other hand was about to get married but you can see the chemistry there. Janie and Daniel lose touch with each other after he suffers a devastating lost. Once they meet up again you can tell that they still have feelings for each other but Daniel doesn't want to act on it. Eventually Daniel can't deny his feelings for her any longer. Even though things seem to be going good there will be obstacles they have to face in order to make their relationship work.
I thought this was a good read and I really enjoyed it. Janie knew she wanted him but she didn't think he felt the same way but it was only a matter time before they both gave in to the chemistry. This isn't the first book that I have read by this author and it definitely wont be the last. I can't wait to read more!!
