The Zaria Fierce trilogy is a fun middle grade adventure with a great message. And Zaria Fierce and the Dragon Keeper’s Golden Shoes rounds it out perfectly!

“Evil would like nothing more than to be left alone, to be hidden from the world, to be able to spin its web of lies, and to convince everyone that it is the most powerful force around.”

Despite the rather long titles of these books, the writing within is not long winded in the least. It is both to the point and evocative, flowing well for ea

In the first book of the Zaria Fierce trilogy, Zaria was tricked by a river troll and endangered the Stag King's son, Hart. In order to save him, Zaria and her friends Geirr, Filip, Aleks, and Christoffer traveled through various Norwegian realms to the underground kingdom of Jerndor to retrieve the Drakeland sword. A sword so strong that it is the only thing that can cut through the bonds holding Hart, who's time is quickly running out. Unfortunately, Zaria was once again tricked, this time int ...more

Disclaimer: Thank you Keira Gillett for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Zaria Fierce and the Dragon Keeper’s Golden Shoes is the third (and possibly the last) book in the adventure series Zaria Fierce. This is a series I have been following since I was first contacted by the author, Keira Gillett, last year and I am so happy I accepted Keira‘s request to be part of this wonderful journey. I adored every single minute of this adve

Hi Fiercelings,

One of the toughest challenges when it came to this book was coming up with the book's title. I like to name a book before I start, because it helps to shape the plot and story line for me (as I'm a bit of a plotter and a panster.)

Unlike the first two books, which came to me fairly quickly and only had a few alterations along the way, book three had 105 titles being considered. I'm not kidding! In fact, if I hadn't stopped myself, there'd probably be way more, but once I cracked

I enjoyed the entire Zaria Fierce trilogy. I love Gillett's use of words, it'll definitely broaden the vocabulary of any child, and some adults. The characters are fun and entertaining, the story is really quite intriguing, and Michele Carpenter gives another great performance with this book.

From start to finish, Zaria Fierce and the Dragon Keeper's Golden Shoes keeps you reading and not wanting it to end! Zaria and her friends continue their adventure from the Enchanted Drakeland Sword of trying to save the world by stopping a trio of some not-so-nice dragons. Every page brings a new challenge and a new exciting way to solve it that will keep you on the edge of your seats to see if Zaria and her friends will succeed in helping Hector, Hart, and Queen Helena. I received this book for free. I am voluntarily posting this review and all opinions expressed herein are my own.

This is the third book in the trilogy of Zaria Fierce. It is not really a standalone - in that there's a fair amount which has occurred to Zaria and her friends by the time she reaches the third book and this is not the place to pick up the story. Start with the first book -- "Zaria Fierce and the Secret of Gloomwood Forest." Another reason not to start with the third book of a trilog

I was given a copy of this audiobook in exchange for my honest review. These thoughts are my own.

I have given a synopsis in both of the previous books in this series, therefore, I will skip out on a synopsis here and go in to talking about what I enjoyed about the book and finishing up any lasting thoughts I have of the series.

As Strong as Ever!

Every book in the series gets better and more organized. The battles in this book were a primary focus, being narrated to full choreography. There were a number of twists and permanent changes in cast which brought a glint of reality; plot armor doesn't exist in the real world, which the author is presenting as such. It answers many questions from earlier books but leaves just enough open ended for the next book.

Words and concepts are perfect for adolescent readers, ages 12 & u

The final book in the Zaria Fierce trilogy is just as good as book one and two. This was probably one of the best and well written children's books that I have ever read. Gillett is an amazing author that knows just how to put the right amount of serious, humor, and drama into a good story.
In the final book, it seems that the adventures for Zaria and her friends will never end, as they outwit fey, discover new uses for mirrors, and have one of the best summers of their young lives.

What a great ending to this awesome trilogy. This book is a wild ride from start to finish. The pacing moves swiftly, and there's always plenty of action keeping you desperate to see what's coming next. Zaria is a strong, intelligent female main character, and it's great to see her finally come into her own. As with every book the mythology is wonderful, in depth, and fascinating. These books always bring something unique that sucks me in. Im sad too see Zaria's books coming to an end, but I'm s ...more

This third book is great for all ages. It has one scene that could be a little scary

My kids enjoy listening to it quietly so they can imagine what is going on.

Keira Gillet’s Zaria Fierce trilogy comes to a huge conclusion with the final book in her adventure, Zaria Fierce and the Dragon Keeper’s Golden Shoes. Picking up where Zaria Fierce and the Enchanted Drakeland Sword left off, Zaria and her friends need to rescue the Stag King’s son, Hart, stop Koll and his fellow dragons, and save Zaria’s birth mother, Queen Helena. No pressure, Zaria.

Zaria also feels the crushing weight of these responsibilities – and the part she played in them, when tricked b
