My Creative Billionaire #1

My Creative Billionaire 1

Being rich means living up to the expectations of others... even when you don't want to.

Matt's always known what it was like to live on the high end of society, and where his brother and father love it... he hates it. A creative at heart, he's forced into the world of Accounting to help stand beside the family name and build an empire from the ground up. His true passion is art, life and love.

Erica is the Chief Advertising Officer for Bryant Accounting Firm and has had her eye on the CEO's son, Matthew for quite some time. He's a bit docile in public, and often plays the fool, but something tells her that a very different man exists just beneath the surface. She's willing to wager her career by taking Matt beneath her wing, and hopefully to her bed.

** This is book 1 in a series. There is a cliffhanger, and book two will be out in 3 months, as will each subsequent novel.

+ 18 due to strong language, explicit sexual content and possible violence.

Hi! I’m Ali Parker, a USA Today bestselling author who has been writing contemporary and new adult romance for over a decade, creating heartfelt, swoony stories that give readers a place to escape and feel a little lighter. Every book I write starts with a simple “what if” and is crafted the old-school way; with imagination, long nights, too much coffee, and a deep love for storytelling (no AI here, just heart and a dedicated human team I treasure like family).

I left my career as a CPA to follow that calling, inspired by the power one great story can have to bring hope and joy. These days, I live in Tennessee with my husband (my real-life book boyfriend), our family, and my sweet grandbabies who make life even sweeter. When I’m not writing, I’m dreaming up new stories, crafting A LOT, and soaking up every moment with the people I love most. Oh, and drinking way too much coffee. Don’t judge.

Welcome to my stories, your escape, your adventure, and maybe even your next favorite love story.

Matthew Bryant is a billionaire who doesn't need a job, but he's got that creative streak on him that can't be ignored. Working with the beautiful Erica should be easy, but sketching her and spending a weekend with her made it all the more complicated for him, especially with his burgeoning feelings. But like any other coward in love, he is afraid to pursue her.

Ali Parker did it again, and the force is definitely with her. I was surprised at Matt Bryant, all along I thought he was the dominant alpha male like his brother Damon whom I loved in another book. But Matt is a dear. I adore his silliness and creativity and flaws. He's imperfect but he's not annoying. I love him for who at what he is. I just wish Erica could see beneath his stature and talk to him, instead of just leaving a note then moping around, second guessing his intentions.

Overall, this was another exciting book in a series and I can't wait to read Matt's next move and see what happens next!

I couldn't finish it, it was so bad. Forget the warnings that this book ends in a cliffhanger, the problem is that it supposedly is the first in the series, but there are so many references to things that happened before the story, I was forever feeling like I missed something. I kept looking for the story to explain things and was left hanging. In addition to that the main characters keep giving mixed signals to each other, with one clearly showing attraction, even to the point of saying it outright to the other, but then backing off for fear of rejection. Which would be ok, except both of them are doing it. They are both constantly unsure if the other is interested, even after being told. The man says he wants her and doesn't think he can control himself, even backs her up to a wall with a kiss. And the woman is all wishy-washy over fearing rejection. The female character offers to throw off her clothes and the guy is like, "well I don't know if that's a good idea..."

My Creative Billionaire 1

Erica has had a thing for Matt for a few years, but has never acted on it. When Matt is in Seattle for a meeting with an art dealer named Jonathon she goes with him. Afterwards she finds out that the hotel Matt was supposed to stay at was doubled up. So she offers Matt to stay at her place. Matt accepts and Matt and her have an awesome weekend. When Monday comes Erica leaves him a note saying good luck with his second meeting with Jonathan. A week later and Erica still hasn't heard from Matt. What's a woman to do? Walk away? But can she truly walk away from Matt? Great read. I'm to the next installment of this series My Creative Billionaire 2.

Not sure why I read this all the way through. The writing was superficial, with lots of weird random things in the story.

Oh, Erica’s been in love for 2 years with Matt, out of nowhere. Oh, Matt loves her, but isn’t sure about his life as an artist. Oh, Bethany has to testify against her best friend for murder?!

I like Erica’s strength and vulnerability. Matt, not so sure. He’s OK, but when she brings him to visit her Mom, who mistreats her, he walks out because he can’t handle it, instead of supporting her.

Too strange, convoluted, oh, and it’s also only book 1, you have to read more. Just no.

This is the first book in the Creative Billionaire Series and does end in a cliffhanger. The story of Matt, the son of a billionaire who is working in the family accounting business, but his true love is in art. Erica works for his families company in their Seattle office and has always been attracted to Matt. They get to know each other better when he is in Seattle. But they have communication and insecurity problems. Lots of drama and suspense, but no spoiler. Ali Parker has another winner and I can't wait to read book #2

Not too sure about this book

This felt like a pretty awkward story. While I understand a lot of stories have an insta love theme, this one couldn’t decide between that or a long unrequited love. It keep referring to some two year period like the MCs dated before and fell in love during that period.

But I think they met once at a wedding 2 years ago, although I could be wrong. Erica seems like the perfect career woman. Until she meets Matt and she is like a teenage girl thinking she is in love. Definitely grated me the wrong way.

I love Matt. I really do. But this book leaves me torn between wanting to hug him and tell him he’s being too hard on himself, and smacking him upside his head and telling him he’s behaving like a jerk. I actually read Sophie’s story first and I’d started falling in love with Matt in the little snapshots we see of him there. Then during Damon and Bethany’s story I began falling for both Matt and Erica. At the end of this book, I love Matt just a little bit less because of his behavior and Erica a whole lot more because of what she has to go through.

Fears of being hurt or unworthy.

Both want the security of a relationship. But Erica and Matt we scared. Erica had fears of being hurt yet she knew she had loved Matt since she met him two years ago. Matt was scared of Erica thinking he was unworthy because he had only his father's billions. He despises money and being rich. He wants to see himself doing well as an artist. Will they finally come to understand they are meant to be together.

The low rating is because this book was a bit of a slow starter then just when it started to get good ... to be continued...

This felt like less of a cliff hanger and more like the book had been abandoned in the middle of a chapter.

It did the job it intended as I want to find out what happens to the characters I feel I was just getting to know.

A series of awesome alphas

Like Damon and Bethany's series Matt Bryant and Erika's series runs anything but easy not where complex emotions and personalities are involved. So looking forward to reading the second in Matt and Erika's story just to see how they overcome their very own obstacles and reach an understanding with their developing feelings for each other.

Amazing

Finally realizing after 2 years they belonged together Matt and Eric become a couple. Through all the ups and downs that most relationships have the push past them and make it work. Wonderful story.

Matt Bryant has had a very rich upbringing. Every opportunity has been given, unfortunately the expectations of his family have always weighed on him. A creative at heart, he's avoided those expectations by playing the fool. He'd rather spend his days creating art that speaks to his soul. But he's twenty-eight and still without a career or a girlfriend. He knows it's time to start moving toward having something of his own. He just doesn't know that is yet. Being a billionaire doesn't mean anything if you don't live a little with it. He gets an offer from a gallery in Seattle to showcase his work but he's still feeling unsettled. His best friend Sophie wants him to head to Dubai with her to help him sort out what he wants. Taking a break at the first of the year would be great, but he wasn't leaving until his brother Damon was back together eith Bethany and all the ups and downs with Erica were settled. She wants him to work on her Creative team for his father's firm. Even though he knows it was the best offer he was gonna get, he just wasn't sure it was for him.

Erica has wanted Matt from the first time she's met him. She's not fooled by his antics. She knows he plays docile and sweet in front of the world, but she knows underneath it all he was an alpha male that liked to dominate women in the bedroom. He was a protector, a strong man's man. So Why does he act like he was anything but that? She hopes by offering him a job that allows his creativity to work for him that he'll open up and give her what she's been wanting all these years...him!

After a weekend of bliss Matt takes off without a word to Erica. She's feeling rejected and hurt. As after sharing her body with him, and supporting him with his gallery showing, the least she deserved was a goodbye. Had she really misjudged him and he's really not the guy for her? Or is there more to Matt's disappearance act? All she knows is she deserves better. While she's unsure of her next move, she knows she's ready to make one. And this one wouldn't include Matt Bryant.

Ali Parker has completely outdone herself with this emotionally charged story. Matt is both complex and endearing. Erica is real and genuine as she experiences what we've all experienced with the hurt of a crush not meeting expectations. Loved this story and cannot wait for the next installment of this epic series!

I was given an ARC for my honest review.

I fell in love with Matt in Ali’s Billionaire Alpha series with his witty sense of humor and defiance in following in his father and brother’s footsteps. With his creative mind, he wants to do more than work in corporate America. He wants to sell his paintings and let all those feelings come to life on his canvases. He has always said he was afraid of Erica (Chief Advertising Officer at M&B) because she is a man eater but what he really is afraid of is having nothing to offer her. Erica, on the other hand, knows that there is another side to Matt and she’s dying to get it to come out and play with her. While Matt is in Seattle meeting up with an art dealer, he ends up staying at Erica’s after an over book of his hotel. He really gets to see a side of her that he never noticed before and one thing leads to another. If anything, I just wanted to shake these two characters and tell them “just talk to each other….communicate, please!” Both have their own insecurities and instead of feeling each other out for where they want this new found relationship to go, Erica goes to work and Matt heads back to Dallas. Unfortunately, not saying anything to Erica just might cost him the woman he loves! Received an ARC for an honest review.

How I see You...

Two-years of waiting for someone to notice you....That's how long it's been for Erica. Family friend, head of a department for the Bryant firm in Seattle, and dreams of Matthew (the man of her dreams). Matthew has always acted crazy so he didn't have to work at the family's business. He doesn't want their money, he wants to make his own by selling his art. For two-year, he's kept his distance from Erica, who scares him with the feelings she makes him feel. However, there's an art gallery in Seattle, who wants to show off his work. When there's a mix up with reservations for his hotel, plus they need dates for events over the weekend...things heat up. What happens when she feels like she isn't beautiful enough for him? What happens when he feels like she deserves a man who has his life together with a perfect job? Will they sacrifice their own dreams, for a chance at happiness together? This is not a standalone!

I loved My Creative Billionaire! After getting hooked on Damon and Beth's story, I was so happy to see a whole new series that spotlighted Matt and Erica. We all fell in love with Matt when we first met him in Damon's books. He is a goofy, sensitive, and hot/sexy billionaire. But, deep down, he his an ALPHA to his core in the bedroom. He has had a thing for Erica for over 2 years, but was afraid to explore where things would go with her because he thought he would scare her if his bedroom beast came out. Erica is beautiful, smart, quick-witted, and very creative. Her personality comes across very well in all of the books and it is easy to see that she is the perfect match for Matt.

A Creative Billionaire shows gives us a great story full of love, longing, and hot sex. Can Matt make the leap and go out on his own? Will he take the plunge and give in to his dark desires? I highly recommend this book. Ali Park never fails to give us a great read from beginning to end

I had already met Matt and Erica in a previous book, and I loved both of them. You do not have to have read that one though before reading this one, but I recommend you to, just because they are all so good. I have to say that there are times in this book that I wanted to strangle Matt, and at the end, I wanted to strangle the author, Ali Parker. Just kidding! As always, she has written a fantastic book. Yes, it has a big cliffhanger, but that is ok, because I am just looking forward to the next one. Before I do that though, I have to make some "slutty brownies". I received this book from the author in return for an honest review, and I loved it, so therefore, I highly recommend it.

Finally we are getting Matt's story. We met Matt and Erica in the Alpha series, I loved him he keeps you chuckling with his witty comments. He wants to make it on his own with his art, and really doesn't want to work in his father's business. Erica is in charge of advertising at his father's company and has wanted Matt for years. She knows he has a dominace side to him she just got to get him alone to find out. But Matt's worried he has nothing to offer Erica and closes himself off. When he figures out he screwed up will Erica be willing to give him a chance?
Damon and Bethany makes a apperance.

Wow.. Having been introduced to Matt and Erica in the Alpha Billionaire series I couldn't wait to read his story.

Matt comes off as the laid back sensitive brother with a care free attitude. Erica has loved Matt for who he is for 2 years. But is that the real Matt? Is he more like his dominating brother than he leads on? Can't wait to see where their story goes..

Clearly this is book 1 in a series that continues.....

I loved this book. Throughout the Alpha Billionaire series, we have been introduced to Matt and Erica. They are both attracted to each other, but have fought the attraction for 2 years. In this book, it all changes, and they give into their desires, but nothing is ever easy for Ali Parker's characters, which makes me love these characters, and very excited to start book #2. If you have not read the Alpha Billionaire series, that is ok, but I would recommend it.
