Katy Regnery delivered another fantastic read in this modern fairy tales series that I truly enjoyed. This was my second book in this series and I have to say I really like the concept. 'Dark Sexy Knight' was such a romantic read. It stole my heart from the very beginning with its endearing and captivating characters. The sexiness and sweetness were well balanced which I really enjoyed and the love story between the two main characters was so lovely and heartwarming. This modern fairy t

“Waiting,” he said softly.

I absolutely loved this book! It was sweet, sexy, heart-warming, and incredibly romantic!! I read it in one non-stop sitting because I just didn't want to put it down. It's a contemporary fairy tale with a moody, brooding, deeply protective modern-day bad-boy knight who falls utterly in love with a down-on-her-luck damsel in distress who he rescues. This was exactly the kind of addictive boo

Please read “A Letter to My Readers” located at the end of the book. This story is very special to this author and though I’m not a friend of hers I was still very touched by her connection to the characters and her plans on donating a portion of her proceeds for this month and the next to a great project in Connecticut.

I adored the setting of this story as it takes place at The Legend of Camelot medieval dinner theater show and our hero Colt Lane plays T

She wanted him. And more than want, she loved him. Every part of him—big and small, angry and sweet, tender and gruff—made him the person she loved. And love meant accepting all of him . . . no matter what.

This was a real tearjerker! Tears still well up in my eyes as I write this review and I know I'm going to have swollen eyes, but who cares? The story was very, very, very beautiful! It hit me hard, square in the middle of my heart. I always have a soft spot for hero

Sometimes you finish a book and you smile, shed a few tears, and think wow I just read an amazingly wonderful book. A book that touches your heart, showing the sweet simplicity of love when the right two people find each other in spite of all the troubles they carry on their shoulders. A book that also opens the awareness of special needs people and that life is not always a bed of roses. Katy Regnery blends this all together in a sweet, emotional, touching, down to earth lo
I enjoyed this one... especially how the main characters both had a sibling who were disabled! It brought a unique twist into the story!

This book deserves a well-thought out review, however, due to a health situation, I am not quite up to writing the type of review it deserves. Unfortunately, this will be a much abbreviated version.

In a nutshell, there were some things I really really adored about this book.
--I loved the storylines involving the special needs family members of Colton and Verity. There were so many times that element of the story made me smile, but also made me rage when evil side characters acted like

OH-MY-GOD this book...this book was AMAZING.

It had SO many feels. I literally spent 95% of it with tears in my eyes. I ADORED Colt. I ADORED Verity. I ADORED both their relationships with Ryan and Mel. And that epilogue...OMG...perfect!

This is SO by far one of the best books I have read in AGES.

Overall Opinion: This was an instalove, often gushy, super sweet story. If you know my reviews -- I should hate it, right?!? No, I actually really enjoyed it! The h was a little overdramatic at times, and the H was a little OTT in his sweetness at times -- but they were such likeable characters that I let it go without being bothered by it! I cannot remember the last time that I teared up in an epilogue because I was happy with the ending, but I actually did. It was such a happy ending f
Wow...I don't really know where to begin to review this book. It hit just about every emotion. And, that epilogue left me crying like a baby.

This was such a wonderful story...two people who needed each other more than anything. Not only did Verity need rescuing by her knight, her knight needed her too. He needed help to overcome his own dragons. The struggles of these two were real and how my heart hurt at times for not only them but for Mel and Ryan. There was a villain or two I wanted to punch

I'm a sucker for a true romantic story. I enjoy reading about two people falling in love with each other. If they both happen to be carrying baggage from the past with them or are struggling with some current issues but find in each other solace and a companion to share their burdens with then you have the perfect ingredients for an epic love story. And Katy Regnery definitely knows how to write one! I can't emphasize enough how talented this author is. She is in a class of her own. Her

When Katy Regnery announced that she is going to write a modern fairytale loosely inspired by the Legend of Camelot I was over the moon happy and excited because first - I'm a huge fan of her and second - I was always fascinated with that legend and knights in particular.

This was an extremely heartwarming and beautiful read! So far, I have really enjoyed Katy Regnery's Modern Fairytale series and this was no exception. I feel like my review is going to be all over the place because of my emotions after reading this. I adored this book. I didn't want it to end. Colton and Verity made such a sweet loving couple. Initially, Colton was kinda gruff and unpleasant. Unlike a lot of heroes, Colton wasn't perfect. Even though he was built, he wasn't the most handsome man. He wasn't rich but he worked hard to care for his disabled cousin. He had never been in love, only had meaningless sex. Until Verity came into his li ...more
4.75 stars for this gorgeous fairy-tale romance. I loved this book - it was the type of romance I love to read. A sweet, enjoyable, entertaining read. This book is simply too sweet. I loved how relatable Verity is -- she's a delightful character. In terms of characteristics and physical traits, both characters -- Colton and Verity -- are very relatable.

Also I liked how real Regnery's disabled characters are potrayed! I liked that they're potrayed as capable people -- I rarely see that in books.

What bothered me a little was the scene where (view spoiler)

Good God, but this was a beautiful story.

I can't be certain, but I think the inside of Katy Regnery's mind must be the most romantic place on the planet. I feel like nobody does breathtaking, pulse-pounding, poetic beauty like she does. Dark Sexy Knight was no exception.

Colt and Verity's story was...everything. I loved them both so much. They were such genuine people—flawed and human, but pure of heart and fiercely loyal. They were so sweet together, adorably awkward, and wonderstruck by each ot
