Womanizer (stand-alone) opens up to university student Olivia Roth, Livvy heading to the windy city for a summer internship at Carma, Inc. Its intimidating CEO, the untouchable Callan Carmichael is a ruthless businessman by day, womanizer by night, Olivia’s brother’s best friend and now her new off-limits boss.
That won’t pose a problem for Olivia since she is set on working hard adhering to her meticulously mapped out life plan. In fact, she aims to stay clear of the infamous Mr. Carmichael altogether so she can return home for her dream job.

It is her quirky confessions that create many hilarious situations and has Callan intrigued while endearing herself to me. Womanizer, told from Olivia’s POV sprinkled with a couple of chapters from Callan’s is a hilariously funny, off-the charts steamy doubly forbidden romance. It ends with a precious epilogue years into the future. Now I am curious about the side character’s stories.
Entertaining plot! Brilliant story-telling! Smoking hot Callan! Charming Olivia!

When a Katy Evans book lands in my hot hands, I shut out the world because that book BECOMES MY WORLD. I can't get enough of Katy Evan's reads. Ever. I swear, if she gave me a new book every single month, forever, and ever, and ever, and everrrrrrrr, amen, I would be the happiest little reading bee who ever lived. I am obsessively in love with her words. And I feel like I've been looking forward to Womanizer for MONTHS.

From the moment I saw the cover, to the second I read the utterly awesome blurb, I needed this book on my Kindle. Callan Carmichael has always felt like an open page to me. Obviously, we've met him before in the Manwhore Series with Malcolm Saint, and in Ladies Man with Tahoe Roth, but for the most part he was a fresh canvas where anything could happen. He maintained this alluring, mysterious air that I so very, very intrigued by.
Callan's part of the trio of sexiest bachelors in Chicago (Well, was apart of it. With Malcom and Tahoe now out of the lady loving game, Callan's alone). The world is at his fingertips, and he wants for absolutely nothing. He's known as a ruthless man in business and a womanizer in bed. Callan works hard but plays even harder! That is... Until sweet Olivia Roth stops him in his tracks and makes him rethink everything.
Olivia is Tahoe's (Callan's best friend) little sister. We meet her briefly in Ladies Man. She's sweet and outgoing with this air of innocence that's down right refreshing. I absolutely love the way Katy reveals her main characters to us. There is always this vulnerability that shines that makes her leading ladies so relatable.
Olivia is no different.
She's trying to make her way in the world.
Trying to prove herself.
And while doing that, she secures an internship at Carma, Callan's empire, for the summer.
Callan and Olivia's first meeting is so damn sweet **shivers**. I was swooning from their first exchange. These two have an instant connection. Callan is drawn to Livvy's sweetness and innocence and Livvy is drawn to Callan's alpha attitude and sexy dominance. These two are cataclysmic, they burn the pages of your kindle and make your thighs tingle.
It's hot.

And Callan was another perfect addition to a series that just couldn't get any more perfect.

'Womanizer' is the fourth installment in Katy Evans’s series entitled 'Manwhore' and features another sexy, manwhore we met before in the previous installments, Callan Carmichael. Katy Evans delivered one sexy, forbidden romance that sucked me in from the very beginning. The one who stole the show for me here was our hero, Callan, who I guarantee will charm the pants off you from the start.
“Love is an illusion. The more you want it, the more it hides”.
Olivia is a 22 years old young woman, who helped by his brother, gets a three-month internship at Carma Inc., a conglomerate of ten-plus huge multibillion-dollar companies involving media, real estate, worldwide investments, and takeovers. Olivia is determined not only to keep her job, but also to climb the ranks on her own merit, even is the CEO is one her brother’s best friends. She has a plan – collecting as much experience as she can in these three months, return to her home town and work for a local company or maybe start her own business.
"I’m not the Devil… I just choose to allow some people to believe that I am."
One day, on the company’s terrace, she meets the “Hot Smoker Guy”, a gorgeous man who intrigues her like no other. They continue spending some time together every day for a little while, eventually sharing one hot passionate night together. The next day, Olivia finds out the stranger is the one and only, Callan Carmichael, her boss’ boss and her brother best friend. She tries to avoid him at any cost, but Callan has other plans. His new infuriating, sexy employee intrigues him too much for him to stay away, so he’s more determined than ever to make Olivia stay in his bed for the duration of her stay. But Neither of them expects their fling to become something more, their attraction to be so powerful or their plans to be turn upside down by the other.

I enjoyed this one! Olivia and Callan were sexy as f@ck together. I loved the sensual electricity between them and don’t get me started on their sexy times. These two were so sexy and passionate together. I loved all the sex scenes which were well written and detailed.
Callan was a fantastic hero. He was sexy and charming, mysterious and passionate and won me over from the very beginning. He was sweet, loyal and protective and overall, pretty great. Olivia was just an okay character to me. I found her to be a little immature and naïve at times, so unfortunately, I can’t say I connected with her as much as I would have liked. I was a little bothered as well by her inner dialogue which I found to be a little annoying.
Personally, I would have liked more chapters from Callen’s POV, because to be honest, the chapters from his point-of-view were more interesting and well done than Olivia’s. Also, I wouldn’t have minded more angst and even more drama. Just saying!
Overall, 'Womanizer' was a quick, sweet and sexy story with great characters and a lovely romance!

Smoking has never looked and felt so dangerous and sexy, before Callan and Olivia in this hot new sexy story by Katy Evans…
Katy Evans never seems to disappoint her readers when it comes down to the subject of a good balance and mixture of drama and romance. Her writing is a pure mixture of sophistication and normalcy, with a side of spicy steamy sex to it. This story is definitely like no other she has written, this one has the vibes of buoyancy and independence, but most of all vibes of pure love. Callan Carmichael is THE person that you first see in the cover: rouged, tough, smokes, and a total bachelor of the most. What you don’t see in the picture is the true Callan. He is so loveable and determined, but most of all a total sweetheart. When he meets Olivia though, he is a total goner! You can tell from the first interaction Livvy has with him that these two are total swoon worthy. Marking someone as a bachelor in most cases means that there is a backstory that lead them to where they are at… Callan is not a newbie on those;
DOES THAT NOT BREAK YOUR HEART OR WHAT?!
Olivia on the other hand, is not looking for something to settle. They are both absolutely incredible in bed, so sweet and tender. But Callan portrayed something that I was not expecting… He is not 100% dominating in bed but still keeps things in control, giving a mixture of equilibrium to their intimate scenes, and also giving Olivia control over their relationship both inside and outside of the bedroom. She is so candor on everything she wants him to do to her body, which is refreshing to read because I don’t read that very often.
Even though throughout their “relationship” they both try to negate each other, while Olivia does not want to get hurt, their chemistry is so strong and thick that not even a steak knife would be able to cut through it. They can definitely be considered as one of those couples that just simply cannot be apart.
Katy Evans never seems to disappoint her readers when it comes down to the subject of a good balance and mixture of drama and romance. Her writing is a pure mixture of sophistication and normalcy, with a side of spicy steamy sex to it. This story is definitely like no other she has written, this one has the vibes of buoyancy and independence, but most of all vibes of pure love. Callan Carmichael is THE person that you first see in the cover: rouged, tough, smokes, and a total bachelor of the most. What you don’t see in the picture is the true Callan. He is so loveable and determined, but most of all a total sweetheart. When he meets Olivia though, he is a total goner! You can tell from the first interaction Livvy has with him that these two are total swoon worthy. Marking someone as a bachelor in most cases means that there is a backstory that lead them to where they are at… Callan is not a newbie on those;
”I don’t know that I can love someone that deeply,” he says. He frowns as if remembering something, and he glances at his glass and strokes his thumb around the rim. “I’m not built that way.”

Even though the whole story is in Olivia’s pov, there is a twist at the end that brings us a perspective point of Callan’s. Thankfully we are able to read what Callan thinks, and has been thinking this whole time being with Olivia. Katy, yet again never seems to satisfy her readers by giving us a glimpse of what is to come in her future stories/books. Wynn, Olivia’s co-worker and now best friend will be introduced to Callan’s brother, Cullen Carmichael and I cannot wait to get my hands on her next masterpiece… Thank you to Katy for the chance on reviewing this book!

I absolutely loved Womanizer so much that once I had the time to sit down and enjoy it, the hours flew by in the blink of an eye and before I knew it, the story was over. What made this book so incredibly addictive for me was the hero, Callan Carmichael. We met him in the previous books but never did I truly appreciate how incredibly sexy this man could be. He sure did give Malcolm Saint a run for his money. Although, I must admit Malcolm is still my favorite in this series by just a tiny millimeter!! This was one hell of a steamy take on the ”romance with the big brother’s best friend” trope!! Get ready to have your panties nearly obliterated by the scorching hot steam that generates between Callan and Livvy.

There is no denying how amazing the chemistry was between Callan and Livvy. I was easily swept off my feet by this story!!

Katy Evans is now, after reading this book, one of my favorite writers. I discovered her work through Remy and Brooke in Real and continued with The Manwhore Series, although I was not extremely impressed by neither Malcom Saint nor Tahoe Roth. Well, after 3 books of struggling to find a perfect hero for this series, she wrote about Callan and put me at ease.
I loved the book in so many ways, but let me first tell you something about the plot.
We have our dear and sweet Olivia, Tahoe's sister, who comes in Chicago for an 3 months internship at Carma, Callan's company. She is determined to learn as much as possible, so when the times comes for her to return home, every company will love her resume and fight to hire her.
She has everything figured out, her timeline is precisely defined, she even knows at what age she will get married and have babies. But, my luck was that Katy Evans introduced Callan in the picture to spoil Olivia's plans. In her first day at Carma, she needs a break and goes on the building's terrace to relax a bit. There she finds a mysterious young man who she names Hot Smoker Guy. They immediately click, having a lot in common, liking the same things, being relaxed in each others presence, but most important, having undeniable chemistry. This connection will make them meet on the terrace every day to share a cigarette and talk, discovering each other.
Olivia is clueless that this mysterious guy is actually a very important person in the company in which she is an intern, but stay calm, she will find out after a passionate night that her normal and average crush is in fact the CEO of Carma, Callan Carmichael. Aaaa ooops?:D From that day forward, they will face a terrific attraction that will make them have a change of heart about priorities and having everything planned. Their love will be spontaneous, unplanned, but amazing.
I enjoyed the characters very much. Olivia was my kind of girl. Insecure, wanting to prove that she can be big on her own, looking for belonging, but discovering other things that gave a different purpose to her life. She left her home's shelter and explored other possibilities, a thing that I admired and craved to do as well. Meeting Callan was something new and unexpected for her, completely new in feelings and emotions. It was both sweet and intense, making her very confuse about which way to go. Love or a career? Sometimes the unplanned things in life are the most intense and by the end of the day, you discover how great it was to just let destiny play with you a little and see where the path takes you.
Callan was amazing. He was the best hero from this series for me and I was so trilled to see how Olivia managed to knock him off his feet and forget about his womanizer ways! I enjoyed seeing his walls coming down on him and having no choice but to surrender. He was very intense as a character, with a lot of funny, interesting and motivational lines that really situated him above his friends and former heroes of the series. He pushed Olivia not only emotionally but professionally as well. He believed in her, saw her potential and wanted to make her his equal. I admired him because he divided very well their relationship: he kept the romantic one separated from the professional one, but managed at the end to be the perfect mixture in becoming partners in the truly sense of the word.
Katy Evans managed to absorb me into this story, with her very well built characters but also very steamy scenes. I almost forgot how good she is at this, what amazing skills she has in developing a love story and running it through all the stages possible. The only minus that I found on this book is that I wanted more from this couple. I met the romantic part of them, but I also wanted to see them as a team professionally, seeing how they mingle together and being unbeatable in what they do. Maybe their romantic scenes were a little too frequent, not that I am complaining, but it kind of distracted you from the main idea and plot of the book.

I'll be honest and say the first half of this book had me struggling. The ad nauseam OW hanging on the hero, or the continuous mentions of his "OW" distracted me A LOT. The title alone told me he was a WOMANIZER, I didn't need it shoved in my face over and over again. That said, after the 60% point we finally got off the OW train, and the book picked up for me.
I adored both of these characters. Olivia was just a sweetheart. Funny and honest. You really won't be able to help but fall in love with her. Callan was sexy and surprisingly sweet. I expected more resistance from him than I got. Really the relationship in this book was pretty smooth sailing. No angst at all aside from a little from Olivia's brother. These two were just really perfect for each other in every way. The sex scenes were hot. Thier conversations and banter cute. Easy peasy...as they say.
So even though I struggled a bit at the beginning to get into this one, I did end up really enjoying it by the end. So two thumbs up from yours truly.

4.5 Hot Smoker Guy Stars!

Callan and Olivia. Gaaah!!! I couldn't even begin to describe the sexual tension and overflowing steamy scenes between these two. I was so rooting for them from start to finish.
Olivia "Livvy" Roth was introduced in the previous Manwhore book Ladies Man and we've known her as Tahoe's little sister. When Tahoe endorsed her to his best friend's huge company to work as an intern, Olivia expected to meet a ruthless business mogul in the name of Callan Carmichael. While working there, she had an encounter with a literally hot smoker guy whom she thought as an ordinary employee (a mailman) and whom she shared smoking sessions every day and even had a one night stand with. Little did she know that the smoker guy was in fact, the very owner of the company-- Callan.
The book was basically steeped in steamy scenes after steamy scenes. Classic Katy Evans. Aaand I loved every bit of it. Callan and Olivia's chemistry was off the charts. They're both hot, success-driven, and they both understand each other's wants. To simply put, they're made for each other.
I loved that their story was not heavy on the angst and how the scenes were created to make the reader smile and swoon. It basically kept me on my toes. If you are looking for an office romance with over-the-top sensual scenes with less dramas, I believe you will love this book. You don't have to read the previous books in this series (although I recommend you to read them too because they are equally amazing!) because it is a standalone. All in all, Womanizer was another enjoyable book to devour. I'm excited about Wynn's story!

I liked it but didn't love it way too much.. Normally I really enjoy boss/intern stories and pls don't get me wrong but I didn't feel the connection between Olivia and Callan. :( But still I'm begging you please don't mind my rating, go and give a shot this book! Who knows, maybe you'll love it more than I did... ;)

WOMANIZER: Even though this states that it is BOOK#4 within the series it can be read as a standalone.
This is my first read by Katy Evans, covers face in shame, and where to even start with my review, the beginning is so easy to get into, I cringed, I laughed, I swooned, then as the story moves along like a love struck female I was carried along on their journey.
Young and ambitious Olivia Roth has been offered an intern job of a lifetime at Callan Carmichael's firm in Chicago her home for the next three months, what was initially as a favor from her brother through his best friend Callan. Even though this favor doesn't sit well with Olivia she's going to prove that she deserves this chance on her own merits. she has plans set in stone of how she wants her life to pan out.
I've planned on working for a company from twenty two - to twenty five, then start my own business by twenty-six, and maybe at twenty-eight, I'll meet my husband.
What starts off as innocent fun filled laughs encountered on the roof top sharing a cigarette amongst themselves turns into a hilarious, slightly forbidden, undeniable attraction that neither can deny.
Neither know who the other really is, she thinks he's just the lowly mail man in the company, he thinks she's just a girl that speaks her mind, shares the odd puff of his smoke and doesn't think anything else of their roof top encounters.
I wonder if he has any ambitions other than being the mail guy. He's not putting out vibes of someone desperate to climb the ladder of success.

I was captivated as soon as I started it, loved reading Olivia's inner musings, from hot mailman to hot smoker man, from finding out she'd screwed the boss, this was a real goody, I really want to read the rest within this series now..Highly recommend. A light refreshing read!!

I can't believe that I haven't read this series before now but I'm glad it finally caught my attention. The brothers-friend thing is what grabbed my attention and I'm glad it made me finally give this series a chance. I adored these two characters and will definitely be going back to read the other books that I missed.
This book taught me a very very valuable lesson. Which is that a guy who smokes may smell horrendous to me in real life but holy hell they can be hot as anything in a book. Callan was so hot and I apparently need to start going out to where all the smokers go in order to find me a hot man like him. Seriously guys, it's going to happen.
Anyway, this book was good and I really enjoyed it. I haven't read nearly enough from this author so I look forward to rectifying that as soon as possible. Keeping this review short since there isn't anything that I need to rave about (beside the hot smoker thing).

Incredibly sensual and intense. Katy Evans has an amazing ability to create sensational male characters. Hot smoker guy will melt you into one big puddle.
About the plot: Olivia Roth heads to the big city. After graduating from college and the lack of opportunities in Texas, she flies to Chicago, where will take a three-month internship at the biggest company that deal with, among other things, takeovers. And where the CEO is the best friend of her big brother, Callan Carmichael.
Olivia has a detailed plan. She wants to collect as much experience as she can, and return to her city to work for the local company and then open her own. During the first day of internship, she meets hot smoker guy with whom he share a cigarette on the terrace. Attraction and longing for home pushes her towards him and soon complicate her ideal plan. Because when Olivia finds out that the sexy stranger is the Callan Carmichael, it may be too late. Even though she is trying to stay away, he will not give up so easily.
My thoughts: Katy Evans does amazing two things in her books. Creates intense and unforgettable male heroes and forms an incredible chemistry between the characters. In this case it isn't differently.
The womanizer, Callan Carmichael is worthy of sin. He is raw and has this mysterious sexy aura around him. It had to be brave heroine to entrap him. Enters determined girl from Texas. There is an amazing attraction between them from the beginning. You feel it in every word and gesture described by the author. It's very sensual, and has lot of sexy scenes that burn you up. I felt this sensual electricity all over my body while reading it... the whole damn time...
The thing that I did not liked is the feeling of disconnection in places. It could sometimes be more described. But it has a specific way of writing that makes sure everything is in tight dynamic. Still sometimes gives a feeling of disorientation.
Definitely page-turning for a long night. It has aspect of forbidden love, but is not very strong. But still it gives a good thrills.
This is not my first book from her, but the first in this series. You can safely read it as a standalone. You'll find some shots of previous relationships, but nothing that can disturb the reading. I totally recommend an interest in books of this author. It doesn't matter from which one. Katy Evans is definitely one of my best guilty pleasures.

3 "All In" Stars
Review @ Vanilla & Spice Books
I might be a minority here, rating this lower than four stars but please do not let my review sway you from reading this story. You might have an entirely different experience. I also loved aspects of it and enjoyed it mostly.
Olivia is an idealistic young woman. She has big plans for her future and realizing that she won't move forward until she has some experience she leaves her home in Texas to work at a big investment company as an intern. The company she plans on working for is known for their hostile take overs of struggling enterprises. The CEO is the best friend of her brother. She has never met him and she doesn't mind if it stays that way. On he first day she has a chance encounter with a guy on the terrace upstairs. He is smoking and she feels bold and asks him for a hit.
Callan is fascinated by the spirited young woman. They meet frequently on the terrace to share a smoke, without knowing details about each other. When they meet at a bar outside of work they can't contain their growing need for one another. One drunken night changes all when they discover who the other one is.
Again it is the heroine who I struggled with. The first third I really liked her. After that her inner monologues started to grind on my nerves. She comes across immature at times and in her mind says one thing and in the next second that all is nullified.
He takes a drag, the tip glowing bright pink as I head back to the bar. When I reach him, he offers it to me. I can’t take it, it feels too intimate now. I shake my head, and he only studies me as I drop to my seat, a little breathless. He turns his high-backed stool a bit to face me, a silence between us as he smokes his cigarette and seems to take in my features, one by one. I watch him take a hit. “I think about kissing you,” I hear myself say.
In her mind she keeps saying "This can't happen again." but she doesn't follow through. Every single time she is all over him within seconds of thinking that it is a bad idea to sleep with Callan. Her inner thoughts also get plenty of repetition. Close to finishing I was annoyed reading for the umpteenth time that she would be going home soon and so would have no business thinking about a future with her brother's friend. She also kept throwing in his face that she wouldn't want a real relationship until she was 28 and in the middle of a successful career. Only to hope for an "I love you" from Callan in the next. The repetition felt like fillers after a certain point.
Callan on the other hand was sweet. I actually expected him to have more of an edge but I didn't mind that he didn't. He put his foot down when he felt the need to but other than that he didn't push too much, waited patiently for her to make up her mind. I would have liked to hear more of his thoughts - we only got them in the last few chapters. I think it would have helped the story along to get into his mind a bit because I couldn't see why he wanted her.
I want to make it clear I have no shame when it comes to you. No rules I won’t break for you. Something about you gets to me like nothing ever has. I say the word woman, I think of you. Female, I think of you. Sexy, I think of you. Sweet, I think of you.”
While I adored Callan (despite his smoking, which I don't find all that sexy) I just couldn't connect with Olivia. Together they did have some explosive chemistry.
Like I said, you might have a completely different experience with this story so please do not let my reservations keep you from reading it. Ultimately I really liked the story line and trope.

This book was freakin awesome! It was a heartwarming romantic comedy with some good emotional moments. I was hooked from the first sentence and couldn't put it down. I love Callan & Olivia, they are the all time best book couple ever! I was totally absorbed in their story and wasn't happy until I knew they both got their truly deserved HEA. You will love the story, the flow, the sex, and the banter! One of those great books for when you need a light and fluffy reading.

Another great story from Katy Evans! I found myself captivated from the first page and once I started it, I couldn't put it down!
The plot was interesting and I like how Olivia and Callan met! They were cute, funny and sweet! You can feel the tension and the intensity between them.I loved that they didn't know at the beginning who they were and there was a mystery around them.
When their identity was revealed, they had to decide what they wanted to do and how they really felt about each other! I loved their chemistry, they were super hot and passionate.

The thing that made me give it 4 stars was because of Olivia who didn't win me over immediately. I didn't see her as a strong heroine and this bothered me a bit.

Have you ever read a story and the whole time your thinking, This is one “SEXY ”read. The touch of forbiddeness with a hint of seduction had me flipping the pages in record time. I devoured this story and let me tell you, I regret NOTHING.
Olivia has always wanted to make it on her own. Being the younger sister of a successful business man, her determination to be her own person is her top priority. When she’s offered an internship at Callan Carmichael’s firm for the summer, she seizes the opportunity. Knowing that Callan is best friends with her brother, Olivia makes it known that she’s going to work twice as hard and she’s not going to accept any kind of special treatment.
Making friends in a new city is not easy especially in a well respected firm, so when she sees a hot guy smoking on the company terrace, she’s immediately drawn to him. A little conversation couldn’t hurt right? Taking a drag of his cig and loving her new found friendship is a good thing right? At least that’s what Olivia thinks and little does she know, that her new smoking buddy is actually her boss.
Callan Carmichael has always prided himself on being the best. He has a successful company, good friends, and a different woman for every day of the week if he chooses too. I happen to love books by Katy Evans. I fell in love with her writing when I met Remy in Real and I've been hooked on this woman ever since. I think the problem I've been having with the Manwhore series is that I went into it expecting the same level of intensity and was disappointed to find it lacking. It's not the book's fault because the story is fine. It's just a matter of me not adjusting my expectations. Well, I tried to do just that with this one.
And I have to say this. I'm sure there will be those who disagree with me.
There were way too many times that I wanted to slap the crap out of Olivia. In a "knock some sense into her" type of way.
Or shake her until her marbles aligned.
She drove me freaking nuts!! At one point in the story, Callan offers to take her on as his assistant. To really teach her what he knows. She OF COURSE declines. Then a bit later she says:
Actually don't answer that. Because this chick said a variation of the same thing more than once in this story. MORE THAN ONCE!!
Well, I gave all 4 of my stars to Callan. I loved everything about him, from his smoking (although it is such a nasty habit) to his seduction skills (bring those over her handsome) to his business acumen (teach me). What I really liked about his story is that despite the book's title and his so-called reputation, there was barely a hint of his indiscretions. Yes, women were everywhere, virtually throwing themselves on him and willing to act as human ashtrays, but he wasn't caught kissing or inappropriately fondling anyone much less encouraging them. Nice!

Womanizer is an edgy, sexy, fun, steamy and entertaining read told entirely from Olivia Roth's pov (except the epilogue). I really loved Callan Carmichael! He was perfect. Handsome, quiet, rich, easygoing, but he can also be intuitive and elusive as he leaves you wanting more and more.
Olivia Roth is Tahoe's little sister, with her brothers help she starts an internship at Carma, Inc. Livvy is not looking for love, she's looking for the business experience that the toughest company in the business could give her. The few days that Livvy starts her internship she meets hot smoker guy and they hit it off in a friendly, flirtatious way. I loved reading those cigarette and terrace moments, these were my fave in the book. It's only later revealed just who this hot smoker guy really is.
The chemistry between Livy and Callan was hot and I did love their moments together. I was not a fan of Liv's inner dialogue. I struggled a bit with this heroine. I swear at times I wanted to choke her! I did feel that their chemistry was lacking and a bit forced. Something was missing from this story for me. It's definitely a cliché read. I have no problems with reading this kind of storyline over and over again, but when I'm on this journey I want a deep, gut wrenching romance and a heroine that I could fall in love with and those were lacking in this book.
That extra .5 stars is definitely because of Callan, I really liked this hero and I would've loved to have read parts of this in his pov. Even though I had my issues with this one, I know for sure this can still be an enjoyable read for others. Especially if you're a Katy Evans fan.

The chemistry between Livy and Callan was hot and I did love their moments together. I was not a fan of Liv's inner dialogue. I struggled a bit with this heroine. I swear at times I wanted to choke her! I did feel that their chemistry was lacking and a bit forced. Something was missing from this story for me. It's definitely a cliché read. I have no problems with reading this kind of storyline over and over again, but when I'm on this journey I want a deep, gut wrenching romance and a heroine that I could fall in love with and those were lacking in this book.
That extra .5 stars is definitely because of Callan, I really liked this hero and I would've loved to have read parts of this in his pov. Even though I had my issues with this one, I know for sure this can still be an enjoyable read for others. Especially if you're a Katy Evans fan.

CUTE. This book was flipping CUTE. That is all. I loved Katy's Manwhore books but I haven't picked up a book by her ever since, so it felt so great to be back into this world with these same characters. I skipped out on Ladies Man and I was about to skip out on Womanizer too but I thought, "Why the heck not", and I was reminded of why Katy Evans became one of my favorite romance authors after Manwhore!
Callan Carmichael has to be my favorite out of the three best friends. But my opinion might not even count since I didn't read Tahoe's story after all. XD Callan had me swooning right when our main character, Olivia, first meets him. I find smoking to be a bit of a turn off but goodness gracious, not when it comes to Callan Carmichael. Normally I would probably be against females taking up bad habits for their partners but let's just say that I understood where Olivia was coming from lol. If you've read any of the other books in this series (don't worry, this is a standalone so you don't have to!) you'll remember Callan Carmichael, ruthless businessman and the last man standing in the group of billionaire bachelors. I've always been intrigued by his character and was super excited to see his heroine is a new character, Livvy, who is Tahoe's sister!
It's a very much "what you see is what you get" kind of story. There's not hidden motives, everything is spelt out for the reader as you go and it's even a little predictable as far as the plot and trope go. You know from the synopsis that it's a brother's best friend type of romance, so from that alone you can generally figure out the plot.
I liked how these characters met and how their relationship grew as anonymous friends first, before turning to lovers. It felt genuine and I thought it was unique. Plus the banter and small moments of vulnerability that they had up on the terrace really helped to add some dimension to the story. I honestly think those were my favourite parts!
I really loved Callan, I mean what's not to love? He was sweet and loyal and protective but knew his boundaries. He was determined and went after what he wanted, consequences be damned. He was a bit of an enigma, comparing his ruthless business persona to his teddy bear personal persona, but it worked well on him.
I never really understood or connected with Livvy as a character and it's a real shame, because I wanted to like her. She just felt so extremely immature, between her thoughts, ideas and actions all contradicting each other and even some of her monologues I caught myself more than once rolling my eyes and just wishing she would grow up. It feels (to me) like authors these days like to write about heroines in their early twenties to then justify them being more immature and unsure, but frankly I'm growing sick of it. I'm twenty three years old and like to think I'm a lot more mature than some of these characters. Basing it solely off of inner thought processes, I'd like to conclude I am.
The relationship and ultimately story line was a lot fluffier than I expected it to be after starting. In the beginning Livvy always talks about how she never feels that she can measure up or is always disappointing people, and then you hear about Callan's womanizing ways. He even admits himself that he'll never fall in love and will never be committed to only one woman. But in relation to the story line, these are then instantly thrown out the window. You glimpse Callan with another woman nearby and it's obvious that he isn't interested in her, and other than that it's never an issue. Neither of these aspects are brought up again. Even with Liffy's problems, I expected them to come into play but alas, they never did.
Womanizer was a quick, funny and enjoyable read which on its own is quite satisfying, but as part of the series I expected it to be more serious. A little heavier or a little darker, especially after Manwhore and Manwhore +1. I noticed this during Ladies Man as well. It was good, don't get me wrong, I read it practically in one sitting and found myself smiling along and laughing with the characters but I wasn't blown away. I liked it, didn't love it.
All in all an enjoyable read and good story, I think my expectations may have just been a little high. I would still recommend it if you want something low on angst, kind of fluffy and quick moving.

Overall Opinion: This was just ok for me. I didn't necessarily go in expecting that much tbh, so I wasn't all that disappointed either. It won't go down in my favorites shelf and it probably won't be all that memorable in the long run, but I enjoyed it for what it was. Don't let the title of this book fool you! The H might've been a manwhore before the h, but he was all about her after he meets her (zero OW drama). It had hardly any drama, and the sex was pretty hot -- so there is that! It would be a good book to pick up after some heavier reads ;)
Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Olivia and Callan's story. Olivia gets a job as an intern with one of her brother's best friend's company. They meet out on the terrace one day, and they don't know who each other are but the sparks fly. The end up sleeping together and then are in for a shock when they find out who one another really are. There is some dancing around each other, some funny moments, some sexy times, a little drama...and they get a HEA ending.
POV: This was told in Olivia's POV with a few short chapters in Callan's. I would appreciated having more in his POV tbh.
Overall Pace of Story: Good until the end. The ending felt rushed to me. I never skimmed, and I thought it flowed well otherwise.
Instalove: No. Instalust? Yes.
H rating: 4 stars. Callan. I liked him. He was mysterious, sweet, and hot!
h rating: 3 stars. Olivia. I liked how driven she was, but her obsession with her "plan" bugged me at times.

This book was so adorable!!! The perfectly sexy and almost-drama-free romance!
You may first think that it's not anything new. Young girl from Texas falls for her boss in the big city. And at first she doesn't know that he is her boss. Bla Bla Bla. I've read such stories many times before.
But it's so much more than that. It's sweet and vulnerable and funny and erotic and young and mature and businessy and ugh. I just loved those two! They're perfect for each other.
They're both super smart and know what they want in their professional lives.
Of course it's not all sweet and insta happy-endish!
She's only in town for 3 months and he's a horrible manwhore who never even thought about settling down with one girl. And then she's also his buddies little sister! Lots of hurdles to jump over until Livvy and Callan can see their HEA on the horizon! But we'll enjoy every word of that time!!!
Were there some tiny things I didn't like?
Hm, not really. Maybe just that some expressions were used too much. Like, he CONSTANTLY pushes her hair behind her ear, or pushes it away from her eyes! I would hit him in the head if he were in my face like that all the time! ☺ And some people might find the story a bit too drama-free. Too uneventful. It's basically just the hero and heroine doing their courting and sexing and smoking and businessing. Not really much happens, but that's what I love about those stories. I don't need unnecessary and stupid misunderstandings and weird drama. I enjoyed just like it was! Enough adorable and sexy and great stuff happens, I don't need drama!
Oh, and maybe there were just too many cigarettes in here. In this time and age nobody should smoke anymore and I don't think authors should promote smoking. It's just a disgusting habit that needs to be removed from this planet ☺☺☺

I love Katy Evans, she’s a one-click read for me. As I saw this book, I thought two things. I thought, huh, there’s a man on the cover smoking a ciggy and I have that Britney Spears song, Womanizer stuck in my head!
This book reminded me of my youth. We all did it, we all had a ciggy in our young days. It was the social thing you do, you steal a drag from a friend and strike up a conversation.
This is Olivia and Callan’s story and is also a standalone.
The book starts really cute. Olivia is this young spunky thing and she’s working at Callan’s company. She got the job because she is Tahoe’s little sister, but she wants to make it on her own from there. We know from the previous books that Callan is a playboy. He’s the last single guy in the group and he’s kind of on his own.
Olivia meets a man on his smoke break at work, the only thing is, she doesn’t know it’s Callan!
It’s a SUPER cute story no? I like that over cigs, Call and Olivia kind of form this bond. Now, it’s not all about smoking cigs, it’s just a way for the two of them to converse and bond.
I’m not a smoker currently, in fact, I told my husband (boyfriend at the time) I would only date him if he stopped smoking (and he did), so I’m not saying, oh it’s alright to like smoking. It’s just that me and not smoking doesn’t have anything to do with my enjoyment of the book. Does that make sense?
I enjoyed that the book was light and easy to read. The angst was on the mild side, but the tension from Tahoe adds a little something to the story.
Overall, an enjoyable Katy Evans read.

The only thing I wonder would have enhanced my reading experience of this book would be to have gotten more of a look at Callan pre-Olivia, because for me he didn’t really live up to the moniker of Womanizer in this story. He was actually really sweet, considerate, a little snarky, plenty sexy and just a generally likeable guy.
I liked Olivia as well, she came across as pretty sheltered and a little naïve, and although it seemed pretty obvious to me who Hot Smoker Guy was from the offset, it took our guileless heroine a little longer to work out to that it wasn’t the mail-room guy she was crushing on unashamedly.
I’m ready. I’ve got a lot to prove, especially to myself. And I’m here to learn how to play with the big guys in the big leagues.
But I also found it pretty charming in that their first meeting and interactions all took place of the sharing of a cigarette, something that nowadays is quite an old fashioned, and also unfashionable concept. However, it did get a little irksome as the story progressed, in relation to the amount of page time and writing devotion that is given to the act of smoking a cigarette, whether it be one or both of them doing it.
You can see the direction the story is going to go pretty much from the offset, but for all that it was still a pretty enjoyable read, with a few funny moments, and relationship built around a genuinely likeable couple, and a healthy dose of added flavour from the secondary characters involved as well.

I’m ready. I’ve got a lot to prove, especially to myself. And I’m here to learn how to play with the big guys in the big leagues.
But I also found it pretty charming in that their first meeting and interactions all took place of the sharing of a cigarette, something that nowadays is quite an old fashioned, and also unfashionable concept. However, it did get a little irksome as the story progressed, in relation to the amount of page time and writing devotion that is given to the act of smoking a cigarette, whether it be one or both of them doing it.
You can see the direction the story is going to go pretty much from the offset, but for all that it was still a pretty enjoyable read, with a few funny moments, and relationship built around a genuinely likeable couple, and a healthy dose of added flavour from the secondary characters involved as well.

Basically me when I'm reading the romantic scenes and finished Womanizer:
I devoured this book in one or two sittings and I enjoyed it very much. The story follows Tahoe Roth’s best friend, Callan Carmichael and his sister, Olivia Roth.
Olivia is a sweet, adorable, passionate and driven young lady. Raised in a silver spoon and came from a wealthy family, she wants to be independent and be a successful business woman. When her internship application didn’t go as planned, her brother asked his best friend a favor and offered her an internship in his company (Carma Inc.). As much as she doesn’t want special favors, she can’t miss a great opportunity to intern in one of the lead and largest firms in Chicago. Within three months, she’s determined to learn from the best and focus on her career.
One night at the office terrace, a hot smoker guy caught her attention. They had small conversations and easily get along sharing cigarettes. As the chemistry between them sizzles, they can’t help being drawn to each other. What she didn’t know, the hot smoker guy she’s attracted with and whom she thought was a mailman is Callan Carmichael a.k.a the CEO of Carma Inc., her brother’s best friend and a well known womanizer she must stay away.
The forbidden romance is really good. The steamy scenes are all LIT and HOT! Oh my god, Callan Carmichael is sexy, charming and irresistible. A businessman who doesn’t do relationships but he just can’t stay a
way from the spontaneous, alluring lady (he didn’t know she’s Tahoe’s younger sister yet..until one moment) he shared cigarettes with. On the heroines of Manwhore series, Olivia is probably my favorite. She’s brilliant, persistent and hardworking. I have so much respect for her when she refused any special treatments on work. Despite having a relationship with Callan, she never neglected her responsibilities as an intern and she learned a lot on his business expertise. I like the direction of their story because they didn’t deprive each other when it comes to career. It was admirable Callan saw her potential, believed in her capabilities and let her do what she wants. One thing is for sure, nothing can stop him from being with Olivia. He’s all in to be part of her life. Oh man, he’s so swoon-worthy.

Loved It as usual for another Katy Evans book, this follows Tahoe's little sister Olivia Roth when she takes an internship that Tahoe's Best friend and CEO Callan owns. Callan is an Alpha male womanizer and even though Olivia has been warned about his reputation the chemistry between the two is just too explosive to ignore, trying to keep it business in the office and sex after work becomes harder than what they both think. Sexy and strong characters, great story line and hot, hot sex. Narrated by two of the best the talented Grace grant and the sexy Sebastian York.
