Another one of my random library book selections. This book is a real gem. This, as you know, is the story about Jonah and how he came to being swallowed by a whale. God asked him to go to Nineveh to deliver a message, and Jonah decided to not do it and hide on a boat. During this voyage on a boat; the sea becomes troubled and the lives of the fisherman on board are in jeopardy, Jonah realises that he is to blame for the troubled seas as he has disobeyed God, and plunges overboard - thereby saving the sailors, as the sea calmed as soon as he jumped overboard. Jonah was then swallowed by the Big Fish. The pictures are wonderful and I love the WOW words. I just found the story a bit 'jerky', but otherwise it was a pleasure to read.
