Poopo the Cute and Many Other! is a collection of puns and (as what the title suggests) many other random things like chicken and crap jokes that can barely entertain its readers. Sadly, it is a waste of opportunity, given that Apol Sta. Maria's doodle comics has such a magnetic appeal that lured me into buying the book. This truly has a unique art in it (as what Rob Cham wrote in page one this book), a potential that can give birth to a series, but Poopo the Cute really doesn't have anything to offer. Well, at least the story that featured Poopo was cute and good though.

Iba. Parang ang surreal ng mga pun at puna. Favorite ko 'yong "nun of my business." Haha. Museum quality yata 'yong mga akda ni Apol, pwedeng iframe tapos itabi ro'n sa Spoliarium ni Luna. 'Yong mga obra maestra kasi ni Apol mapanghamon, akala mo simple lang at madaling magets, pero parang may gustong sabihin na mas malalim na shiz e. Hinahamon kang matawa lang o mag-isip kaya. Ang sarap basahin ng komiks na 'to kahit you'll take it as it is lang. O kung gusto mong magpakadeep, okay din 'tong reference. Astig po nito, opo.

I was in Adarna House when I saw "Poopo the Cute & Many Other!". While in the bookstore, I scanned through the pages of this book, and I just kept on laughing at the puns, and so, I decided to buy the book.

I like puns, so, I really liked most parts of this book. However, I did not appreciate the illustrations that much, although I totally get the humor attached with the drawings and the actual stories. It's just that... I really like beautiful illustrations. But still, I liked the puns! This is good for light and short reads.
