4 intensely kinky hearts
Phew….this is what I call age-play, but not for the faint hearted. This has got infantilism, age-play and a feeding fetish. A lot of people will be uncomfortable with this, so if this quote freaks you out, stay clear.
Ok so you’ve been warned. Honestly I love age-play, but even I got a big squeamish while reading this...probably because I was equally turned on and appalled at myself.
This book, unlike its predecessor was just about Sokel and Sebastian, Kord and Rennett do make a small appearance at the end, which leads to a pretty hot scene *waggles eyebrows*. Pretty much Sebastian has this kink, and Sokel makes it happen… ending with fairly extreme (but what I found quite delicious) results.
This story could be read as a stand alone, except for the whole understanding of the universe. The mind-link and omega/alpha status’ aren’t really explained in this book and while it's not necessary to enjoy the age-play, understanding them would make a few sentences less confusing. It really is just a lot of kinky scenes.
I obviously liked it and if you like age-play, you’ll like it too, but don’t expect much more than some kink in this short story.

This sequel centers on the "second couple" from the first book, to "Broken Alpha," but with a much more intense focus on the (rather different) kink. This fetishistic play won't be everyone's cup of tea, but for those interested in age-play, feeding, and Daddy-infantilism, it is a simple but kinkily steamy story.
I read a couple of brief descriptions that indicated this book centered on Daddy-play, but the kink explored is not at all what I normally think of as a typical gay "Daddy" relationship. For me, a typical gay "Daddy" is usually more simply just a clear top and/or the in-charge, mature partner of a more laid back/carefree/submissive man (who might sometimes just want to be a bit of a less mature adult and a bit of a "boy"). This story has a submissive who has a need to feel much more helpless and who revels in rather infantile behavior and dependence.
For those who have not read much age-play or infantilism smut, this actually might be a relatively gentle and non-threatening introduction to that particular fetish. Compared to the wide range of extremely kinky erotica on this topic, this story isn't so over-the-top but takes the reader somewhat slowly (and not too hard or far) into the roleplay. It provides a glimpse of a Dominant who discovers his partner's interests and fetishistic needs, and pursues those kinks in a slow, deliberate, and respectful manner.
While this particular kink is not common in male/male romance, the author takes readers slowly and not too far into this fetish not too different than how this genre typically deals with other kinks. In other words, if someone is curious, this is a nice, soft introduction for readers of m/m romance to age-regression, infantilism, and feeding play.

While this book revisited the characters from the earlier story in the series, this one was very different in direction and subject. Sebastian on the surface was confident and secure, but like many people he hid inner needs that he thought others, specifically his mate Sokel, would never understand. Sokel was determined to do whatever he could to fulfill Sebastian's needs. That desire was put to the test in a most unexpected way, but Sokel just may be more then up to the task , to their mutual satisfaction. Accepting the differences between us is the first step to understanding each other as Sokel, Sebastian and their friends learn in the story.
