WOW, ok, just WOW
This is Ms Williamz’s debut novel. It was riveting and amazing and left me saying OMG more than once. It truly was a thriller and even near the end I still \wasn’t sure who the bad “guy” was.
I loved the relationship between Echo and Kyla. There was a big secret going on between the two of them (in addition to the other mysteries going on) that just left too many ideas and possibilities open. I believed in Echo’s innocence but because the book was so twisty-turny-tummy-hurty (in the way a great suspense is likely to do), I wouldn’t have been surprised if the male cop did it! Oh My Gosh, do yourself a favour and read it!!!!

The story was a good idea, but not very well done. The characters are underdeveloped and not convincing. This book is not a keeper for me.

This book had me hooked from the start. Finished it in 3 hours and absolutely loved it. I found it impossible not to fall in love with Echo!

True thriller
This the first book I have read from MJ. I was totally hooked from the beginning. I love an author who's storyline takes on a crazy ride. I have to say that every time I took a right turn the storyline to a left. There were times when I really wanted to smack Kyla and Echo. But I don't think the storyline line would have been as good if the characters were different. I would definitely recommend this book.

What happens when the victim can't remember who shot them?
Its a masterful combination of a second chances romance with a mystery thriller providing the framework, drawing the reader in a deeper connection to the characters which increases the investment in the narrative, all while preventing boredom & doldrums from spoiling the experience.

An attempt at a suspense thriller but i personally didn't enjoy it well as such. The Velasquez angle didnt just make convincing sense at its revelation and the eventual revelation of the accident could have perhaps been better gripping if its plot had been introduced right on

I liked this book. It was a fun interesting read with many twists. I enjoyed it. i liked at the end with the author kind of told a little about every character. My only dislike was that some of it was just a little rushed or could of used more detail. Going to read more from this author.
