The highly anticipated third and final book in the Blogger Diaries Trilogy.

Kayla’s Chick Rant and Book Blog
April 17, 2016

They say when you quit trying so hard, things will finally fall into place. So, I let go of my failed marriage to Aiden, focused all my attention on my daughter and finishing school while working a full-time job, and suddenly…
Barely breathing turned into surviving.
Surviving turned into being content.
Contentment turned into happiness.
All just my girl and me.
But there was still something missing, something I truly never thought I’d have.
My happily ever after.

Wow!

This series has been a whirlwind of emotions. This book has been my favourite, by far. Reading about Kayla and Jason from that 20 year old couple, pushing each other way, growing up, having kids, getting married, to now....wow! Kayla has been one brave mama t put her life story out there for the world to read.
Kayla and Jason were meant to be together. That is clear for anyone to see. Aidan, I'd love to give him a slap with a silly stick. Both families sound amazing and I'm sure many people will relate to parts of this story. I wish this family all the best and I look forward to reading more by this author.

This was a sweet lovely romantic story that redeemed Jason for dumping Kayla in the first book!,, we needed it . Happy for now and I wish them happy ever after. Kayla deserves it, and so does Jason. Look forward to more books by Kayla!

Le sigh ... I just finished book 3 and truthfully like most books I read, I didn't want it to end. But as the saying goes "all good things must come to an end", and this entire trilogy was everything I love about reading in a romance book: young love that is found, lost and found again. The author mentions the word "soulmate", and as a romantic at heart such as myself, I truly believe she has that in her husband Jason.

We as readers, we love diving in to fictional characters, their ups and downs trying to get their HEA or HFN, but when reading it in it's truest real life form makes one believe that our soulmate is out there. I am sure many naysayers are out there probably criticizing this author and putting her life out there for the world to read. She didn't have to do that, but with the encouragement of her fellow authors after hearing how she met her husband, she put pen to paper, or rather words into a Word document and poured her life for the world to see and feel.

Yes, I had many feels reading this trilogy and rooting from book 1 to book 3. I felt every emotion this author poured out into this trilogy. As you will probably tell, I am a fan. I may have mentioned in one of my previous reviews for this trilogy, how I discovered this author was via TikTok. Sometimes social media can be the "devil's playground" or it can be a worth of information. I love discovering new authors, be it word of mouth, an Instagram post, a Facebook ad or even an Amazon recommendation.

I think what is making me fangirl so much is the fact that KD Robichaux was a blogger first and a fan girl like myself. Not to say other authors aren't this way either, but I feel a sort of kinship with this author, crazy, I know.

So thank you KD for letting me into your very personal and happily ever after. You brought much joy to my reading experience especially with how 2020 has been a real doozy. I will be definitely adding more books by this author to my ever growing TBR.

Wish Come True is the third and final book in The Blogger Diaries series and must be read after the first two in order to fully appreciate and understand not only the time Kayla had to wait but the levels of drama/hell in which she had to go through - all to find her happily ever after. The term "spine of steel" could be used to describe Kayla and how she chooses to take the high road and become a single mom knowing her daughter will be enough for her.

Kayla has been through the wringer the last few years after meeting the love of her life and subsequently being rejected by him due to a nasty case of "still needs to grow-up a bit". Having no choice she moves back home and settles into a comfortable life with a heart that has never really healed from "the one". Kayla reluctantly starts a new relationship hoping to feel again all the while knowing her heart's still in Texas with the man who isn't ready for an "us" yet.

Trying anything at all to fix her broken heart Kayla agrees to marry Gavin and have a child fairly quickly hoping to fix that emptiness she feels inside. While the marriage never really stood a chance the love for her daughter is Kayla's saving grace and literally the only thing that rescues her from all the negative thoughts about herself and her situation. Kayla knows in the long run she may have been a sucky wife to Gavin but she is an awesome mom to Josalyn!

Not only does Kayla succeed in what she does but she excels in it by finishing school / divorcing Gavin / moving out all on her own. Kayla has the help of her loved one's of course and thank god for that because her family is a supportive bunch and she is able to blossom and spread her wings then she receives a phone call on Thanksgiving from the manchild (Jason) and he states he is now a grown up...

Jason has come such a long way from book one as a scared to commit guy that finally decides what and who he wants. I was so astonished by the one-eighty Jason's maturity level did. I swear it was almost like I was proud of him (even in tears at times) in this book where old-Jason would have had a chance to tuck tail and run this new-Jason did the exact opposite and not only loved Kayla but Josalyn too.

It was such an unique experience to read about the love affair that was "stranger than fiction" and I for one can say that while they definitely took the long route to their HEA the view when they got there is beautiful, unrivaled and cherished always since Kayla's "Wish Came True" she will never let it be taken for granted :)

What a story! Heartbreaking. Emotional. Funny. Amazing.

I liked that the story took place in Texas (near Houston) which is a place I am familiar with. Most people look at me like I am crazy when I tell them to stay on the “feeder” as many do not know what that is. I was glad to see that it was appropriately named as the Houstonians call them.

I can’t imagine going through the things that Kayla went through and then to have to walk away leaving her heart in shambles. My heart reached out for the heartaches that Kayla had to go through. At the end of the first book I wanted to reach through and smack Jason for pushing her away while my heart just ached for the heartbreaking moment that Kayla drove back to NC. I thought the flirting and playfulness between Jason and Kayla was funny – just like two typical teenagers. Jason was a typical bad boy that had a soft side and was willing to take care of the people that he loved. This made Jason all the more likeable in my book.

I read the books as a trilogy which I was glad for. I would have had to wait for book 2 and 3 after reading book 1. Each book had such emotions with some comedy mixed in. I was hooked from the beginning of book 1 to the end of book 3. I thought they were well written. If you are looking for a good book that will keep you laughing, crying, and turning page after page, then these are the books for you. I recommend getting all three at once as you will not want to wait to see what happens next.

WOW!!! It's been a long time since I've had a book suck me in and literally make me feel everything written on each page in a long time!!! The Blogger Series, by KD Robichaux, is a true story based on her story with her soul mate, and now it's not all perfectly happily ever after. The details in the books just captures you and makes you feel like you are there watching everything like on a movie scene. Not only does it take a lot of courage to put your real story out there it takes a lot to show your mistakes especially if those mistakes involve the ones you love. It just amazes me how well this series was put together. I'm going through my own personal love issues at the moment and these books just proved to me there is hope, and sometimes happily ever after isn't always so easy to get to, but it's still worth every moment.

Wish Come True, truly had me in tears. Its hard not to believe in happily ever after when you finish reading about Jason and Kayla. They both worked so hard to put the past in the past and live for today. To make sure they showed love to each other and their family daily. I really can't even begin to explain the amount of emotions I had while reading this book. It goes to show you just how different and fantastic life can be when you are sharing it with the right person.

** Review written by Kylie from Bloggers From Down Under **

After absolutely devouring her trilogy in less than a week, not only do I feel like I know Kayla and Jason as my new friends from the other side of the world, but parts of her story rang true for me, having experienced something similar that she writes about.

As I sit here today with my husband and my two beautiful children, I realise how extremely lucky I am. I have the love of a man that I honestly sometimes feel I don't deserve. And I also have two amazing children who surprise me daily with their love for those close to them. Finally I am content...........

Reading Kayla's trilogy made me realise that there are others out there who are tragic romantics, and will fight till the end to be in the arms of their soul mate. Thank you Kayla for your amazing work. Thank you for unintentionally coming into my life, through your book, and making me sit up, look around, and really see what it is I have.

If its happily ever after's you're looking for, you will find it, and so so so much more in this awesome trilogy.

I cannot recommend it highly enough!!!

A huge must read 5 star read.

The third and final of The Blogger Diaries trilogy! Again the author does an amazing job with everything in the book! As an invested fan of the series I couldn't have asked for more to wrap up the story. There are no unanswered questions, and nothing was just glazed over as sometimes happens in other series'. K.D. continues in a way only she can write, giving you every single detail and doing so in a way that keeps the story flowing, interesting, and without dragging! I've not read many books where an author can successfully do that!
I loved every single word of this book! It truly surpassed all of my expectations. A fantastic ending to an even more amazing series!

Aww! Her Wish did Come True. So many happy tears. After all the Kindle throwing moments Jason caused in the first 2 books he so made up for it in this one.
What a rocky road to love they traveled. But I think ever bump and bruise strengthened their true love. I say strengthened because even time, distance, or trying to move on with another couldn't stop it. They were soulmates, meant to be, destined from the very start. And Jason, God love him, is just a silly man it took him a little while to come to his senses.
Kayla is living the dream, she got her Prince Charming with a touch of a Beast.
Great series!!!

I could not wait to get my hands on book 3 only because I loved the first 2 so much and I need to know how Kayla and Jason got to their happy ending.

I can only imagine the courage it takes to write a story about yourself, but I'm so glade K.D. did. The ending is so amazing I had tears when I finished it.

Thank you for finding your true love and having the balls to write the story and share it with us. And thank you Jason for being sweet enough it was worth reading.

On a different note I kinda hope she writes Logans story I don't even need it to be true I just really want to know more.

The author carries you on her journey and it is written so well you can actually "see" yourself walking by her side. It had me laughing one minute and crying the next, but a knot of ah remained in my throat. You must read the first 2 in the trilogy to appreciate the ending. I don't know how she will ever top this true love story, but am looking forward to more from KD Robichaux in the future.

A real life fairy tale!

She really did marry her book boyfriend. And we as readers are very lucky that KD Robichaux has shared their romance with us. The romance that Kayla and Jason shared had me glued to my seat as I read all three books in this beautiful trilogy! Thank you for sharing it with us Kayla!

Kayla and Jason's story is definitely one worth reading all the way through. The first was ok, the second better, and this was much better than both. To finally reach that HEA was awesome. I enjoyed and loved this one a lot. I wanted to finish, but I wanted to keep going. I'm glad I stuck out the series.

I, Amber McCarty ( Imaginative Dreams), was given a copy for an honest review.

I truly loved this series. I think I loved it even more because I knew it was based on true events between this couple. It was raw, it was real and it was honest. It's fun to fantasize about these amazing heroes in romance novels but it's even more amazing to read a true story of love lost and soul mates found again. Excellent story, Kayla.

Dis Bitch... I'm dying.

Let me first start out by saying, yasss girl yasss! *Non-disclaimer* Shit is about to get real. Jason took Kayla and sweet baby Josalyn to a TGI Fridays and the server had the nerve to act like a total skank. Trying to cop a feel of Jason by learning up against him. Hello! Ya Bitch! Kayla is sitting right there and they have a BABY! As soon as Kayla asked for hot water to use for the baby food, the server crossed the line by acting like a "cunty asshole"... new favorite insult btw. When Jason caught wind of his girls being disrespected, he put that bitch in check! I jumped so high in the air and screamed, "fuck yeah!" As sweet poetic justice, I hope that server reads this book one day and is absolutely mortified by her slutty behavior when she realizes it is her that Kayla is talking about. Fucking gold.

On another note, LOVED this series! I think Jason and Kayla are down to earth and represent what real love is like. Relationships are fucking hard. We all have baggage and have managed to make the wrong call, especially in our early twenties. The fact that Kayla and Jason lost one another and found their way back is amazing! Also, the fact that she wrote about her life, realizing she might get lots of shade, just shows how much of a badass she is.

Kayla, you are my new inspiration and role model. You have had all these obstacles in life, but nothing has stopped you from getting what you want.

Please, read these books! You will not be disappointed! 😊

I said it in my reviews for book one and two of this trilogy, and I'll say it again here—Anyone brave enough to put themselves and their true story out their for the world to read deserves 5 stars. However, that's not the only reason why I've decided to rate the final book a 5☆.

I'm massive sucker for HEA stories, if a book doesn't have one—I don't want it, so the fact that this is a real life HEA... yeah I'm a complete goner. Swooning doesn't even come close to how I felt reading KD and Jason's second chance, and knowing that they're happily married; with 3 beautiful daughters and are completely in love with one another outside of the pages makes this story so much better, and reading it so much more enjoyable.

Second chance, single mom, alpha hero and sassy heroine; but make it a true story? Oh hell yes, this is everything I love in a romance book but on steroids lol.

Overall: Although I had read Scary Hot by KD last year, I'm glad I picked this trilogy up because I've loved getting to know KD more than just an author. I plan to go on and read the rest of her books because she has just become one of my favourite authors.

I was so happy when I finished this book. Bathed in the afterglow of the emotional high of a true HEA. I read all three blogger series books in a row so I had a few months (slow reader/busy life) of living this journey with Kayla and Jason. Everything, every detail was so special. K.D's storytelling is so vivid that I was in it with them. I loved that the whole series wasn't a hallmark style HEA. It was / is real life. It's messy, it's ugly, scary, heartbreaking but also so so beautiful and precious; it's funny and light, and envelops you in big, strong, safe arms.

I loved this series so much. I think anyone who grew up in the late 90s/00s can appreciate the ridiculous recklessness that was AOL and MySpace. Hilarious.

This was a love story through and through.
Insecure, bookish girl. Reformed bad boy. Marriage of convenience. Boyfriend’s best friend. Accidental pregnancy. Major growth of the two main characters.
It’s all in there- almost hard to believe, but so much more beautiful that it’s a true story.

Loved Reading this HEA 😊

I loved this series so much since I follow KD on IG and TikTok. Being able to see the results live versions of the people in my head was so thrilling to me. Also, now my Kindle is exploding with books KD has recommended and authors I was unaware I needed to try since I’ve read all of KD’s books and am looking forward to her future ones. She has definitely grown in her writing skills IMO since she began. If you love a good HEA, this is a great one!

This true story (the whole blogger diary series) was so raw and real. I felt her sadness, her excitement, her anger and her happiness as she told her love story. Finding the one we are meant to be with isn't always a straight path. I appreciate the raw honesty in her writing. I also appreciate truly knowing where an author comes from. Her writings have very quickly become some my favorites.

In a sentence about being a self-proclaimed grammar nazi, the author used the incorrect form of affect. There are also numerous instances of you’re used in place of your throughout this series.

This book left me with one big question: what happened to Anni? It’s like she fell off the face of the earth.
