I thought he didn't want me. I couldn't have been more wrong.

Joey Mason
Once upon a time we were supposed to be together. He was the mysterious outsider, and I fell in love with him.
He wasn't a jock, he wasn't the most popular guy in school, but he saw me for who I really was -- for who I really am.
But we never got a chance to explore our love. He ran away from home, and didn't even say goodbye.
And he was gone for six years.
Six years I spent wondering where he was, whether I'd ever see him again.
There was nothing left to do but move on, move on, but not forget.

I got a boyfriend, Ian, and he's ready to propose, but I'm not sure I want him to...
I have a job at a local bar, but I put my dreams of painting and travel aside...
I did my best to put Joey out of my mind...

I was about to get my perfect life.
Then Joey showed up, older, hot as hell, and hiding a dark secret.
And I realized I didn't want perfect. I wanted him.

Vanished is a full-length, standalone bad boy/second chance romance with a MYSTERIOUS ALPHA-MALE, heart melting romance, and a HEA!

Ok I am not ever going the to try and write a review for this book cause I can't

So I will give you bullet points with my opinions.

PROS: I finished the book. ( and believe me this was a task)

CONS: The hero himself. The Author should of just made him vampire/ werwolf Fae or something cause the biker/ hitman ( who has never killed anyone) was so much more believable.

The Heroin herself. So after just one night (or afternoon) where the H kissed her she was so in love with him that she has never in the last how many years fallen in love with someone else and is hung up on this guy that "vanished". Seriously, the h just seemed like a lost cause to me by then.

The Hero vanishing: seriously, who doesn't call the cops when a kid disappears??

Him stealing a truck full of money. One word "MINONS". so this Hero steals all this money ( a truck full mind you) and he honestly thinks ( or should I say the author honestly thinks that the H would get away with it?? Oh but he call the cops and they arrested the bad guys??!!) Nooooooo not all of them got arrested there is no way, biker gangs always have more back up and they also have their other chapters to help them out. So even if one chapter got arrested they have other chapters that would come in and made sure that they fixed the wrong. AKA kilingl the H for betraying them.

Those are just some the issues I had with the book but I am done thinking about this book. Going o go and delete this book now.

Overall Rating: not going to read this one again.

Kind of stupid. There was very little interaction between the main characters for me to feel this "strong interaction" that they were claiming. They barely talked before Joey disappeared and the heroine pines for him for six years???? If there were private/beautiful moments between these two, I would have believed the pining. Most of their interaction was in the high school hallways with the heroine's friends pointing to Joey. This may work for you. You may love it. You may feel completely differently about this romance. It did not work for me.

Pass?

Um not really sure about this one. It was a little too all over the place for me and too ridiculous. *Spoiler because i can't even review without it. So this fool at 16 can't make up his mind if he wants the girl. One second he does. Then he doesn't. Then he does. Next day he gets beat up at school in front of girl then completely disappears for YEARS out of embarrassment. Leaves his poor mother filing police reports. Missing person report. and never knowing what happens to him while her own life slowly slips away without him. He ruined his mother's life because he was embarrassed. When you find out what kept him away for "6 years" (though the prologue says 10 years ago.. yeah I know makes total sense!) It's pretty stupid and of course she falls back into his arms like nothing happen. Though he was sooo in love with her and protecting her, he wasn't faithful. Though she wasn't either but he's the butthead who left. By the end of the story idk if he ever went to see his mother again and all is well. Only thing I liked is a good happy ending.

I did receive an ARC of this for an honest review so here goes. Being an amateur writer myself I have a lot of respect for anyone who can sit down and think up a book, so good on her for her first book. I however couldn't get into this. There was no basis for the heroine's obsession with this guy. Not a single date nor a grand love affair. The guy running off in the first place made no sense to me and his coming back and meeting up with her after so long was just awkward. Honestly I really just wanted to tell both characters to grow up and get lives, it was over. I feel kind of bad for giving a bad review but I do believe in honesty and this is only my opinion.

Nice

3.8 stars actually

This was a nice book. It has the action and adventure but it also has gaps too many for me actually. The sex was hot that was a good thing but the rest fell flat for me to be honest.

Fast read. Joey is hot and well you need to read the book

Happy Reading

Okay, so I am not really sure how I feel about this book. Maybe it was too mushy for me, I don't know. It was just over the top for me. I felt that some parts were rushed and other parts just dragged on. I mean I liked the story but I just wanted more. It could just be because I am use to darker reads but this left me kinda blah.

Yeah, this is a hard no... I did not finish. As soon as the 'wife' showed up I was done. This plot was ridiculous and the characters unlikable. I have way too many books to read to waste my time. Sorry, not sorry.

It might be for you but it's definitely not for me.

Lots of twists.

The PROLOGUE was 24 pages long, that was one of the few long winded areas. Told in only Mia's p.o.v., would have like to see some from Joey's side.

One shared kiss and the next day gone. For 6 years Mia has never let Joey put of her heart, even when she is with a man for over a year, she loves another. What a way to ruin an proposal by telling your bf that your still in love with a missing person.

Working at a bar she finds someone that has had the balls to say something to her in the very building she happened to be at. Still in his 'stalker' way. Oh a he runs again. But as hurt as Mia is she will keep Joey near as best as she could and even on a drop of a dime trip to the city of love, Paris. That's when the real truth come out that Joey never wanted Kia to know, his enforcer job in the Black Dogs MC.

Even bigger punch to her stomach is when she is whisked away from Paris and ends up in the hands of Kat, Joey's wife.... butttt this is the confusing sport, there were a few but this one was the kicker... One minute she is a wife, then she is a one night mistake, back to a married her then lastly she is just a bitch that he spent time with but never loved... okay is she his wife or not? There was no mention of a divorce. That is the part where I would have like a clarification on.

Overall not a bad story just to twists and turns that throw me.

Eh...not so much. ***spoilers***

It's not the writing was bad or that there were editing issues. I had issues with the storyline. She falls in love, as a sophomore in high school, after being with him for less than 24 hours. Then he disappears. Fast forward 6 years and she's still in love with him. When he finally shows up they're engaged within a week. Just a little much.

Mysterious, suspenseful, and sexy!
Joey and Mia's story is one that will keep you guessing. A creative story you can't help but fall in love with.
Their story started in high school. She was the popular girl. He was the cute, mysterious boy. He saw Mia for who she really was inside. She couldn't help but be swept up by his penetrating eyes and the way he saw her. When they finally had their chance together, it didn't last long. He vanished without a trace leaving Mia behind without so much as a goodbye.
Six years later..... Mia is in a relationship with a good guy and knows he is about to propose but her heart is not fully committed. It still belongs to Joey and she just can't seem to get over him. Then one day, he shows up and her world is flipped upside down. They're is no denying the spark and love they still share, but she needs answers. Will Joey be able to give her what she needs for them to move forward or will his past destroy the passion they have just begun to embark upon?

I received this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I absolutely loved this book. The story of Mia and Joey was heartbreaking and heartwarming. I felt the pain Joey went though as a young man in high school. The way he was misunderstood by the older kids and what he went through. His love for Mia and the embarrassment he felt when he was beat on in front of her. Poor Mia who felt a strong connection to Joey and not being able to find him after. When he comes back a stronger man and explains what he has been trough and how he never forgot about her made me cry. I loved that he was trying to keep her safe. How he took her to Paris so that she could eventually realize her dream. One of the parts I enjoyed was when Joey was able to get back at the kid from school who beat him up years earlier. I loved that he was able to make sure the biker gang members who were trying to hunt him down were caught and he was able to be free. Free to live HEA with Mia!

Received this complimentary arc copy from the author for an honest review.
They say opposites attract right!!!!!! Well in this case they do. Joey and Mia, teenage love. Sometimes you just know when there is something about that one person that does it for you. Their smile or dimples or the way they smell,
You just know.
This story had me hooked from the beginning and after Mia agreed to be Joey's girl he disappeared, for 6 years. So heartbreaking for Mia, the waiting, hoping and praying he would come back to her. When he does, there are still lots of questions unanswered. Lots of secrets, dangerous people, drama and twists and turns that you would never think of.
A brilliant story and the ending was just sooo good. Loved it. Well done Autumn.

I got asked to be an ARC for an honest review. I have to say that I loved this book from page 1 and couldn't put it down. It has the perfect amount of drama, action and romance in this story. We start of with meeting Mia and Joey when they are 16 years old and still in high school. One day Joey vanishes but returns 6 years later but is hiding a few secrets. However they are secrets that no one is expecting.
Not going to say anymore, if you want to find out read the book. You will not regret it.
I would have loved to have read a few chapters in Joey's P.O.V but it was still a good book. Can't wait to see what else Autumn Avery has to write.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Autumn Avery is a new author for me and VANISHED is her first book, so I was very impressed. Vanished is the story of Joey & Mia, they met in High School, she was the popular girl and he was the outcast. They were different but the chemistry between them was very intense, so they give it a try and all went down the hill. Six years later.........No spoilers, buy the book. You won't regret reading this romance story!! Can't wait for more books from this author.

ARC for honest review.

Hard to believe that this was Autumn Avery's first book, it was brilliant! It had me gripped from the first page, i was sorry it had to end as i really enjoyed it. Good characters, though i would have liked to read some from Joey's point of view, about his life in those 6 years etc. Story line was very good, all the bases were covered, romance, action, twists and turns you don't see coming. It was a page turner for sure. I would certainly recommend this book and i'm looking forward to reading more by Autumn!

I received an Arc for a honest review. I loved this book. Joey & Mia met in highschool. They were so very different. Their chemistry was off the charts and very intense. There was a twist in the story that you will not see coming, but it is for the better. I was so happy with the ending, and cried. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review, and honestly... I loved this story. This is my first book my Autumn Avery and it most definitely won't be my last. Ms. Avery weaves a story of heartache that will captivate you from the very beginning and will have you on a roller coaster of emotions until the very end. My only complaint about this book is that I need more. Can't wait to read more from this awesome author!

Joey is the mysterious outsider that Mia fell in love with. Mia has been wondering where Joey went. Mia can't seem to get Joey out of her head. Joey wasn't anything special in school not like Mia was. After six long years Joey shows up in Mia's life again and turns everything upside down. I loved the story line and plot. This book was full of suspense and surprises. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Everyone deserves a second chance, right?

It's been six years since she saw his face. Six years since she heard his voice. How can love survive? Popular girl Mia meets and then looses the boy of her dreams when he suddenly disappears without a trace. Joey, the quiet loner has to find his way back to her. Buckle up for an exciting ride!

This was great. Only when I got to the end did I realise that this was the author's first book. Amazing!
The characters and their interactions were realistic, believable and likable.
I would have loved some Joey point of view even if only at the end as he really was mysterious but still an enjoyable read.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The storyline is a little unbelievable and it's hard to feel any sympathy for the characters. I did, however, really want to find out what happened to Joey. It's well written and the beginning was amusing.
