Cinnamon Tea

Rate this book
Cinnamon Tea tells the story of Adrienne Whitman and Avril Whatley. Two young women that were taken from their families two years apart under eerily similar circumstances. Detective Shawn Whitman, Adrienne's father, senses that Adrienne is still alive when Avril Whatley turns up missing. Detective Whitman and Avril's immediate family (her mother, Jessie, grandmother, Annella, uncles T.C. and Jerry Lee) must work together to save their girls. The sweet aroma of cinnamon tea is prominent throughout this tale. It is so inviting, but it can also be deadly. Cinnamon Tea is a story of loss, a story of new discovery, a story of anger, a story of terror, a story of love and a story of closure. Are you drinking the tea?

Cinnamon Tea – An addicting brew
This is my second Charles Campbell book, and I enjoyed it as much as I did the first one (Mrs. Fields’ Journal). I’m excited when I find books by Georgia authors, and especially one that is set in a former hometown (Statesboro). The plot is fast paced action, combined with sincere human characters and feelings – a good combination. I’ll definitely be looking for more from this talented author. 4.5 stars

This is an amazing book, and very suspenseful. Adrienne Whitman and Avril Whatley were both taken from their families under eerily similar circumstances. Detective Shawn Whitman, Adrienne’s father, senses his daughter is still alive when Avril goes missing, but if he wants a chance at rescueing her, he’ll need to work together with Avril’s immediate family.

The story put me on the edge of my seat. The author is an amazing storyteller. The characters feel very real.

I would recommend this to everyone who enjoys a dark, thrilling novel.

Omar intrigued me.. I'd love a possible book or short story detailing more of his past.

Becoming more of fan with each book

I normally don't read these type of books but this one I couldn't put down. The suspense was killing me. I'm a little on the scary side so I read most of this in the day time. The characters were great and the plot kept me intrigued. This author's books just keep getting better and better which is why I continue to look for the next one. Surely there has to be a sequel to this one. I'll be patiently waiting to sip more tea!

A suspenseful winner

This is the first book I’ve read from this author and I will definitely be searching for more. The tales twists and turns, and I had to read it all in one sitting to see what was going to happen. If you like suspense with a mysterious tea thrown into the mix, this one’s for you.
