I have the Fourth Edition, 1997 and if there is one more up to date, be sure to get it. When I used this book cca 2003 - 2009, the traffic had increased on many, though not all routes. As of 2013, I can imagine a great deal of the routes would be VERY different in terms of traffic, or perhaps even bike accessibility.

It proved a great introduction to many lovely road biking routes around NW Washington, though I have used the "Around Puget Sound" book of this series a fair bit more.
