Enter the adventurous journey of a young pirate and his teddy bear scallywags. The detailed illustrations traverse a realm of unique land, sea, and sky layers. It’s a classic fun hunt for pirate treasure with monsters and miss-steps at every corner.

Travis Hanson is a favorite artist we met at a convention, and we own much of his work. The storyline is whimsical and entertaining. Unfortunately, the words occasionally are out of step and don’t quite keep with the rhyming cadence. That is my only critical piece about it; otherwise, it would be a 5-star rating.

Brilliant. Hanson created a beautiful and entertaining book. The art, and story, is whimsical and endearing.

For added fun: must read outloud, in your best pirate voice.

I found Travis Hanson in Artist's Alley at the 2015 Salt Lake City Comic Convention. I bought this book immediately. Went back to buy another of his books. And, I plan on buying everything he creates.
