This story was a little different it was like a fairy godmother making your dreams come true. I really don't know if Coco is real or fantasy but I liked this anyway and found myself finishing this story in one hour. It is one of my must reads and I definitely will be reading the rest of the books in the series.

Everything was going well intil the fog, the Silk Stocking Inn and Coco. Things didn't feel real for me. So I just stopped at 50%.

This was not really my cup of tea. I was hoping that may be the whole thing of the Stocking Inn encounter was a dream and that may be they would meet at a bar and start their journey towards love but couldn't finish the book to see what really happened. :(

This was a cute and quick read! As a future librarian dating a future mechanic, I couldn’t *not* read this! Some bits were a little hard to follow along, but overall it was a cute little story! I enjoyed it!

Emmie, a safe and sweet Librarian, has been longing for more adventure in her life. The boring ex-boyfriend, and the sensible clothes are starting to take a toll on her. When a mysterious website featuring the Silk Stocking Inn, pops up on her computer, asking her about her dream man, Emmie thinks it's her friend, trying to get to loosing her up and have some fun. There's no harm in playing along. But Emmie is shocked when she nearly runs down a man and his motorcycle on a fog filled street, she's not prepared to find a hulking man in a leather jacket to walk out of the fog looking like her dream man. Or to find herself at the Silk Stocking in enjoying Salted Caramel Cupcakes and the company of the owner, Coco. With a push from Coco and Emmie's need to experience some fun, she sets out for a weekend she'll never forget. Beck, tall and sexy with his motorcycle, is the guy she's been waiting for, he's whats been missing to help spice up her life. Emmie embraces her weekend with this fantasy man. Emmie is ready to follow her heart for once, and not her head.

My favorite out of the two books! Salted Caramel is super sexy and fun to read. I finished it in a couple of hours. And once it was over I just wanted more and more. Emmie and Beck, sigh I just love them. They are the total opposites but they just belong together perfectly. Their SEXY weekend just wasn't long enough. I could read book over and over. Emmie, is the proper librarian looking for more adventure, she really embraces herself and opens up to having fun with Beck. Beck, hello Mr. sexy motorcycle man. Beck is defiantly a book boyfriend to fall for. Dreamy, tall, dominate and sweet.

Salted Caramel is just as fun and mysterious as Red Velvet, it's a series you have to read. I'm excited to see what we get next in this captivating series.

Salted Caramel is book two in the Silk Stocking Inn series by Tess Oliver and Anna Hart. I enjoyed Salted Caramel just as much as Red Velvet. This book had me at hot biker. Then there was Coco, the whimsical hostess introduced in Red Velvet, who once again cooked up some match making, as well as delicious treats. This story is about a librarian named Emmie, who has played it safe her entire life, including her love life. The story begins where Emmie has broken up with her most recent, boring boyfriend. She is meeting a friend for dinner when her car breaks down and she mysteriously finds herself at the Silk Stocking Inn where she meets Coco, the hostess at the Inn….que in HOT tattooed, motorcycle guy, Beck, who she meets while trying to get a tow truck. After pushing him away while he is attempting to help her, she meets up with him again at a bar that she is at with Coco. Beck is also staying at the Inn. There they enjoy a weekend of sweet treats and lots of hot, steamy sex. This story is a quick read, but so worth it. I read it in one sitting. Such a fantastic story of two people who are completely opposite who, thanks to Coco, meet and have instant chemistry. Salted Caramel offers you romance, mystery, angst, fantasy, delicious sweets, and wild, wild sex. I highly recommend this book, you will not be disappointed. You will be wishing that places like the Silk Stocking Inn really existed. I am looking forward to the next book in this series, Mocha Latte.

Salted Caramel is the second book in the Silk Stocking Inn Series by Tess Oliver and Anna Hart and just like the first one, I was drawn right into the story and sat there until I finished it-it was that good! This second book features Emmy, the head librarian where she works and she loves her job! She has started feeling like her sensible shoes and drab clothes along with her supposed perfect boyfriend and his group of friends-all snobs, who she has absolutely nothing in common with, may not be what she hoped it would be and she yearns for the exact opposite of what she has even just once to see what it is like to live differently. She breaks up with her boyfriend and the next thing you know, fate in the shape of Coco and The Silk Stocking Inn become a part of her weekend, and we all know how a little magic can really make great things happen, and who better than Coco to make sure that Emmy gets a chance for a weekend of her dreams including all the necessary items she will need; from clothes to shoes to cupcakes to a room, and the man of her secret dreams-in Emmy's case a hot biker!

This book has everything you could want in a book to spend an evening with! There is emotional angst, a great place to spend time, romance, awesome encounters, and great cupcakes! Read this book and do something nice for yourself!

The Silk Stocking Inn is probably the only one in the world that will leave everyone grinning like a love sick puppy. It's fantasy island for lonely hearts with plenty type of steamy nights.

Salted Caramel is book 2 in the series and Beck is just as yummy.

Emmie is bored by her prim and proper boyfriend. She's tired of his pompous, self-important friends. Not only that but she realizes she wants more out of life and a relationship.

Seems Emmie is following in the footsteps of others when the fog takes her to the Silk Stocking Inn. What she didn't expect was the big broad, brooding biker. He is straight out of her daydreams.

Beck is just as hot as her dream guy, a little bad boy, and whole lot of heat. Amazing chemistry and a lust filled night are all they need to get under each other's skin...and then some.


The Silk Stocking series are delicious little interludes that combine desserts and well, other "desserts". The erotic stories are quick reads with plenty of dream filling action with the sweet beginnings of romance. The are well written and smile inducing,  it the best is the girl squeal inducing hot action that the characters indulge in. Go ahead and indulge yourself- whether in the story or the cupcake recipe...Neither will disappoint!

Salted Caramel is book 2 of the Silk Stocking Inn series from Tess Oliver and Anna Hart. Book 1 is Red Velvet and book 3 will be Mocha Latte. I have loved both books in this yummy cupcake titled series, and I'm sure I'll love the third.

Salted Caramel centers around librarian Emmie, who has finally broken up with her bore of a boyfriend and takes off for home after work. Through a series of traffic problems, she ends up with a flat tire on the side of the road, in the middle of nowhere. Nowhere ends up being in front of the Silk Stocking Inn.

Emmie goes inside, intending to call for a tow, but meets the wonderfully sweet owner, Coco, who tells her that the phone doesn't really work and the only mechanic in the vicinity is out of town for the weekend (& Emmie has no spare tire). Coco offers Emmie a room to stay in for the weekend as a guest. With no real options, Emmie accepts.

Coco takes Emmie to the Hanky Dory, the local bar, where she meets Beck, the embodiment of all her wishes of a dream man. He's huge, sexy, tattooed, dangerous looking, and a biker. So much happens in this whirlwind weekend, and I'm not giving anything more away. Get your copy now and find out.

This was another wonderfully sweet, sexy, quick read. I wonder if the authors would consider doing some follow-ups to these stories? A girl can hope...

Her unorthodox upbringing has shaped her into thinking that she wants a particular lifestyle and mate, when in actual fact, she’s looking for something quite different and much more exciting.

Bad traffic, a weird fog, and a punctured tyre result in a sudden encounter with a hot, male biker, Beck. The owner of the local guesthouse, Coco, offers Emmie a place to stay – and it turns out that Beck is staying there, too. The mysterious Coco seems to possess some magical omniscience because Emmie’s strange circumstances seem to be delivering her fantasies. However, once her fantasies have played out, is there a future for Emmie and Beck?

This novella was a sweet and hot little fantasy about insta-love and hot desire, mixed in with a little bit of magic. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I liked Red Velvet, but I LOVED Salted Caramel. (Will someone please make me a cupcake.) I couldn't help but picture Emmie walking in the library, shoes squeaking. She has tried fitting in with her Dweeb boyfriend, David. Thankfully she has seen the error of her ways.
She is drawn to the Silk Stocking Inn by a mystical fog. She ends up stranded with a flat tire conveniently across the street. Coco is her usually awesomeness having everything that Emmie will need. Luckily there is only one other visitor to the Inn, Beck.
Beck is a welder with a biker mentality. He is rough, tough, and all in leather. He is the star of Emmie's fantasies. I wonder if real life will be better than the dream.
Get ready for romance. Get ready for the gorgeous alpha male. Get ready for hot sex. Get ready for a happily ever after that is so believable that it gives hope to all that have the dream of the one.

This was a very short book. Not really memorable.

Emmie and her boyfriend, David, are sitting at a hip bistro bar with David's friends, chilling. Emmie decides that David isn't enough for her when she sees a biker guy in the bar with his girlfriend. She breaks up with David (but never really says the words) and goes home.
Well she tries to. She ends up at an Inn and meets another biker guy, Beck. They hit it off and blah blah blah. I did not feel a connection between them. It's hard too when the events in the book happen in a weekend (I think).

I'm giving the book 2 stars as I think it was okay for a quick read.

I think this book would be a good read if you want a quick read. That's about it.

I didn't feel the romance, I didn't care about the mysterious about the Silk Stocking Inn, and I didn't care about what happened to Emmie and Beck.

I chose to read it as it was free on iBooks.

Our fairy godmother is at it again. Coco is setting up Emmie for all her fantasies to come true. Emmie is the typical librarian with the boyfriend she is supposed to have but it's just not enough. Taking a road to avoid a traffic accident leads her to the Silk Stocking Inn. She finds herself wrapped up with Beck, the man of her dreams. This is the perfect quick read when you need something steamy in between your next book. Careful where you read it, this is really a hot book. The second in a new erotic series each book has it's own story but the formula is the same: lonely girl looking for the right guy, happens to end up at this Inn, sexy perfect guy is guest at the house, and then the hook up. The formula works but I'm hoping they change it up to give us a guy who needs his motor revved. My copy was given for my honest review.

I really liked Beck, he seemed like a great guy, and the man was a huge ego booster, “see, that’s why I like being with a bookish woman. Not many women make the word ‘nebulous’ sound so effing hot. And I don’t even know what the hell it means.” I really liked Beck's attitude, “you better effing believe it, sweetheart. It’s not easy to create art when you’re fighting a raging erection.” He released me. “Go ahead. I can take the criticism. I’ve got a tough shell.” Beck is one to speak his mind, “ready?” He stopped and glanced down at the dress. “That was a stupid damn question. How the eff do you expect me to last through a pitcher of beer at the bar when you’re dressed like that, sweetheart? Hell, we might not even make it to the place.” I enjoyed this book Beck was a great man.

The fog brings the ideal man for Emmie, who is tired of perfect looking and boring men. She leaves David and his judging friends and then embarks on an adventure with Beck, who is not the kind of men she has ever gone for. The romance is hot and Beck makes her feel like no one else but she is not sure if this is a weekend affair. She can´t believe the huge man with tattooes and muscles and a bike sees her as more that a few fun nights. Little does she know...

his is the Second delicious read by Tess Oliver and Anna Hart in their Silk Stocking Inn Series. Salted Caramel is smoking hot. Emmy is looking for Mr. Right she wantd a bad boy who rides a motorcycle who will lI've out all her naughty fantastes . Beck is that biker who falls for "The Librarian" who needs to let go and have some fun. The mix of delicious treats and steamy sheets made this book a hit. I couldn't not put it down once I started. Fantastic! I loved Salted Caramel just as much I loved Red Velvet. I read Salted Caramel in one sitting as I couldn't put it down. Who doesn't love a hot, sexy tattoo biker. Beck is the man of Emmie dreams and her dreams come true when she takes a detour to avoid traffic and ends up at the Silk Stocking Inn. Beck and Emmie are one hot steamy couple. Salted Caramel is so damn hot and sexy. I loved it and can not wait for the next book.

I liked this one more than the last one. I felt I got to know the characters a bit more and the Hero a bit more as well (because it’s only in the Heroines POV). I liked Emmie and Beck’s chemistry together, they were very cute. Again liking the mystical aspect of the story…I really want to know more about this. And again….It ended so suddenly….I need more, I need an epilogue!!!
