I read this to my 7-year-old twins and they really liked it. It's a fantasy adventure story with a lot of Christian symbolism (I'd put it in the same sub-genre as the Chronicles of Narnia). ...more

I chose to listen to this book after receiving a free audio copy. All opinions in this review are my own and completely unbiased.

Kit and Robyn are new friends, but they both believe in magic which is now a crime. In fact, they both have magic-sense, the power to see and hear more than most people on Earth can. They end up in another world where magic, both good and bad, is everywhere. Nanette O’Neal has built an interesting new world, and I look forward to reading more about it.

Kit, Robyn, and C

Beleive is a great book for kids 11-15. It tells us about best friends Robyn and Kit. What a chance Robyn's life takes when she finally has a friend and a Besr one at that. Both girls realise they have strange things going on and they suspect it' may be Magic but Magic is illegal..Follow both Girls as they discover a new Fantastic World and the Talents bestowed upon them.

Magic isn’t supposed to exist. That’s what Robyn and Kit have been taught in school. And it’s what the police in their town keep a look out for. Anything that has a hint of magical origins is suspect. Therefore, when both Robyn and Kit separately begin to experience magical phenomena, fear keeps them silent until they can’t hide the truth from each other anymore. Once they share what they’ve seen and heard, a larger picture develops — one full of danger and adventure that leads them through the ...more

Believe is a great introduction to a new world, one that has been forgotten or banned from our world. I loved watching the two girls grow and work out their inner conflicts. It's a great story for kids who are trying to find their way and determine their own values. ...more

Every great warrior begins by taking a stand.

What if you lived in a world where everyone once knew magic, but now it’s considered false and a punishable crime to even believe in it? This is the crux of the book. Nanette paints a vivid picture of not only the ordinary world in which Kit and Robyn live, but also the world into which they travel. The descriptions she uses really makes everything easy to picture in my mind. Her words just pop off the page at you. The only thing that confused me somewhat was the initial switching back and forth ...more

What a great read A Doorway Back to Forever was. This is a middle grade story that is full of magic, soldiers, kings, dark forces and Pegasus. It will keep middle school kids glued to its pages, especially if they like magic and magic kingdoms.

The earth is a world that once had magic and when it was used wrong, banished it. This is where Kit and her friend Robin live with their families. The problem is that kids still are born with magic and are left to their own devices, hiding from their paren
