This is a sweet story, the kind that touches your heart and makes you smile at the end. The mystery of the “Bluey” captured me and kept me reading. I found the ending very satisfying. The beginning was a tad slow for my taste, but my normal read is thriller paced. This book is intended for a much younger audience, so I had my son read it, too.

My 8yo son plowed through the first 40 pages in one sitting. He loved it. “It was interesting and very adventurous.” He wanted to give it 5 stars on page 3

Author Sherilyn Putnam's new book, "Alien Like Me" offers readers an imaginative journey and look at the world several years after an alien invasion. It's been a long time since I've read a middle-grade book and I'm so happy I had the opportunity to read this one.

Another great book from Sherilyn Putnam.

She has done it again. This was a great read. I loved the story, I couldn't put it down. I would recommend this book to anyone, especially if they like genre fantasy. Loved it, loved it, loved it.

Sherilyn Putnam is many things. A lover of words and the magic they bring. A mom. A wife. A geek. And most notably a pen name, chosen to be the face of this new adventure of writing words for younger readers. The author behind the pen name hopes you stick around to check out the new stories, and would love to know her books were being read by kids who love books as much as she.
