Sam Destiny has a way of taking a creature and putting her own unique spin on it. She did it with her Vampires in her Morning Star series and now she's done it again with her angels.
I adore this story and can not wait to read more from this world. I hope she gives us Raise the Hopeless soon... Like next week!

OMFG. This book was awesome!
I'm a huge fan of Sam's contemporary books and I really enjoy her paranormal series but this? This book
I fell in love with almost instantly.
Nala's story. Her childhood and upbringing broke my heart. Her mother was a monster. A wicked witch that preferred controlling her daughter than love her like she deserved. Like any child does. And her father? He should be there for her but he ran once he was saved by Nala. I was so angry. And sad for her. But even though her childhood was not a happy one she grew up to be a kind and amazing human that knows compassion and what is good. And because of that she made her life mission to repair all the bad that her mother did to the world. Save all the angels. And that's how she met Raphael. Not an angel but an Archangel.
Their love was not an easy one but it was consuming and real. Even though none of them wanted it.
Looked for it.
Or expected it.
I loved this story and I can't wait for the next book!

I will upload my full review when we get closer to release day but I will tell you this! Sam has taken another well known paranormal romance trope and makes it totally her own! this book is new, fresh and exciting! I NEED MORE!

An amazing read!
I was fortunate to receive a ARC of this book, but unfortunately it did not download in my library. Lucky for me, I bought the e-book already, but for some strange reason, the book did not download in my library too. In the end, I got the chance to read it. THE BOOK WAS GREAT! It made me mad at Amazon for the glitch because I could have read the book sooner. The storyline is well written, and it flowed throughout the story at a good pace. I loved how Sam build the plot in the book. Each chapter kept me wanting more. When I got to the end, I was like "wwwwwwwhhhhyyyyyyy!" It was such a devastating ending. I can't wait to read the second book in the series. This book is a must read!

Beautifully Written
I am just in awe with how this story is interwoven together. The mix of Angels and Witches is great. The heartbreaking scenes written beautifully and the scenes full of love are just, that full of love. Definitely a recommended read. Can't wait to read the next book.

Started out interesting and then nothing
I had hope that’s this would be a good book. In the beginning I was intrigued, but then the book felt rushed. There was very little plot and the characters had no growth or development. Not worth a read

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I really enjoyed his book. A twist of Angelic fantasy that merged two types of paranormal that I love. From the beginning you hit the ground running. The Angst of Nala's safety, the hate for King Jonas and the certain amount of contempt for Raphael. He really did come off as sweet and then completely infuriating.
By the time I was reading the last few pages the one word 'no' was resounding in my head over and over. There is a half HEA at the end of this book and yes I NEED the next book so I can get this story. It can't be true!

So good! I was completely hooked right from the start. I could not put it down. This author does an amazing job transporting you into their world. I quickly became emotionally invested in the characters. I can not wait for the next book ! 5 of 5 stars. Highly recommend to you paranormal fantasy fans

I REALLY ENJOYED THE CONCEPT OF THIS BOOK AND HOW WE SAW ANOTHER SIDE TO ANGELS AND WITCHES. EXCELLENT STRUCTURED STORYLINE WITH LOTS OF ACTION. THIS BOOK WAS A FIRST FOR ME BY THIS AUTHOR AND WONT BE BY LAST. ONLY CRITICISM I HAD WAS THE FEELINGS GABRIEL HAD I BELIEVED HAPPENED A LITTLE TOO QUICKLY.
