Knots is an older title, first published by Whitecap Books in 2002, but I can see why it’s still around. It’s well-illustrated with hundreds of full-colour photos and illustrations to help guide inexperienced hands through useful knots. In addition to learning how to tie each of the different knots, with helpful illustrations for step-by-step success, there is information on how to choose what knot for your purpose, as well as information on rope and knot types. I wish there had been a top 10 list - I found 100 overwhelming. There is a useful index, but the binding is disappointing as I anticipate pages will start falling out after heaving use. My thanks to the Grand Forks & District Public Library for including this title in its collection.

Knots is a book with clear colored illustrations that show how each knot is tied. This book not only teaches you how to tie the knots, it also include details such as how durable each knot is and what the knot can be used for. The descriptions for the knots are simple and easy to understand. The down side of this book in my opinion is that some illustrations doesn't show enough steps, sometimes the gap between each step is so big that it would take me forever to get to the next step. Overall, this book is great because it taught me many knots that can be useful to me throughout my life.

I bought this book to learn the Wagoner's Hitch (Trucker's Hitch)... and have since learned other knots... simply a great resource!
