I was given an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The King in the Stone is an irresistble blending of history and legend. It's a love story, a quest, an action-adventure tale, and a time-travel epic. Yes, it is all of those things, but mostly it’s a crackling good story that kept me reading well into the night. There are only six books that impacted me when I was a child.

1) 11 Birthdays by Wendy Mass
2) Each Little Bird that Sings by Deborah Wiles
3) Love , Aubrey By Suzanne Lafleur
4) A Dog Called Kitty By Bill Wallace
5)Emmy and the Incredible Shrinking Rat by Lynne Jonell

and lastly , 6) A Two Moon Princess by Carmen Ferreiro - Esteban

So to say I was looking forward to the sequel of Two Moon Princess is the biggest freaking understatement ever.
I can't credit myself with being the one to find this a

The author graciously sent me a copy of the book, and I started to read it, but ended up spending quite a bit of time in the hospital, where I could not read anything on my iPad. I was really excited to read it because it touched upon the Arab occupation of Spain, something we don’t see too much of in YA or even modern literature, given how politically volatile anything related to Islam is these days.

It is a time-travel novel, and that usually isn’t my thing, but it was fine here…no worries abou

I was born in Galicia (Northern Spain), a land of rolling hills and green valleys surrounded by ocean thought in medieval times to be ‘Finisterre,’ the place where the world came to an end.

While still in college, I moved to the arid highlands of Castilla—the land of the castles—in Central Spain and it was there, in the capital city of Madrid, where I finished my Ph.D. in Biology. For the next ten
