Volumes 3 and 4 dragged just a bit but this series definitely ended strong with Volume 5. Overall a really fun series that I would recommend picking up if you're looking for an urban fantasy series that is a little bit lighter and also has a great female lead and well-rounded supporting cast.

The ending made sense for the book, and Lemmy was the best character. I didn't understand the need to have an entire part where everyone was mad at Amelia as it didn't have enough breathing room. I don't believe Omega and the police could be that easily reformed by just banishing the evil bosses.

I love Amelia Cole! I love Lemmy! I dream that someday there will be more adventures with them both.

While I'd sad to see this series end, I'm glad the creators did, in fact, give an ending to their story (which they call a 'long-form origin story', so there's hope for a future series), before moving on to other projects.
This volume is mainly one long fight scene, and, while they way it goes is fairly predictable, it was done really well, and the art was back up to the excellent standard of the first volume (rather than the rushed, far less good art of the middle volumes).
I'll definitely be giving Mr. Knave's novel a shot at some point.

Wraps up the story of Amelia and the 3 worlds in a mostly satisfying way.
Felt more rushed than the other books, but the overall story was good from book 1 to the end. Despite having a very specific social message, the books never felt preachy or political. Just a good, simple story with lots of action.
