(Source: I would like to thank Kuki Publishing for providing the copy. This will not influence my review.)

The book is getting deeper and deeper on representing the teenage life – for instance like relationship towards the family and friends, meeting new people, to be in a relationship, love or infatuation, and to be in high school, it’s getting messier and complicated. Lots of drama of course. One of the problems that Leda facing tackles about is to fit in the society.

whatever it was that I

I always go into these books not knowing what to expect, but what can definitely be said about this series is that the story gets better the further into the series I get. Forget Nico is the third book in The Italian Saga, and it is the best one so far. The characters are growing up before our eyes and with that growth comes a world of drama - teenage drama, to be exact. The book is full of excitement. I've always loved how the author can whisk you back to the time when you're a teenager and ...more

This is not my first book by this author but it is my favorite yet so far. This author writes with creativity and detail that makes you feel part of the story. This is a young adult story that brings you back to your teenage years of drama and growing up. It takes you through the relationship of Nico and Leda and the struggles of teenage romance. They are great characters and I loved watching them grow throughout the story. They made you feel as if you are in Italy with them and in the 90s. I ...more

Forget Nico: Falling for the Wrong Italian (Italian Teens novel 1, The Italian Saga)

4 of 5 Stars
Forget Nico, by Gaiai B Amman is an Italian teens novel centred around the main character Leda and her relationships especially with sexy teen heartthrob and bad boy Nico. This story is full of teen angst, emotions and changing teen feelings along with Italian gangs, romance and redemption. The story is more poignant in my view as it’s based on a true story and is interwoven with real

Forget Nico: Falling For The Wrong Italian is the third book in Gaia B Amman’s The Italian Saga, and the first in the Italian Teens series. The series follows Leda from her childhood onwards as she grows up.
Leda and her friends are hitting puberty. Raging hormones are adding to the drama and tensions they were already having to deal with. Leda is struggling to get Nico to notice her as she fends off unwanted attention from other boys.
I found the pacing a bit weird at times, with a few big jumps

Forget Nico: Falling for the Wrong Italian is part of the Italian Teens aka Italian Saga series by Gaia B Amman. I am a little confused on where it falls into line, because it says it is book 1, but there are 2 books prior to this one... Anyway, it is the first book I have read, and while I enjoyed it, it left me wanting more. The book cover drew me in, and states its based on a true story, which drew me in. The description sealed the deal, but I was expecting a little more. I kept expecting and ...more

Forget Nico: Falling For The Wrong Italian is the first book in the Italian Teens (Italian Saga) by Gaia B Amman, This is a young adult romance set in Italy in 1990. It was the first time reading this author and it’s also not a genre that I read much of but once I got into the story I really enjoyed it.
Leda Balni is 13 years old and has been friends with Nico since they were 9. She’s loved him since then but now he’s being cold and distant towards her. Everyone keeps telling her to forget Nico

Forget Nico: Falling for the Wrong Italian (Italian Teens novel 1, The Italian Saga) by Gaia B. Amman. I love this series. Its the third book in the series and its the continuing saga of Leda and her friends especially Nico who she really likes. She gets the attention of other boys but not the one she wants. This story is full of teen angst and all the other junk that goes with being a teenager. Nico is also in trouble and Leda can't believe that he would do what they are saying he has done. ...more

Forget Nico is a coming of age love story of Leda, a tom boyish girl who is desperately in love with a cool boy at school. I did not know that the story is not the first in the series, so it took me a while to adjust to the pace of the book and the characters. The book predominantly deals with all the elements of adolescence, crushes, embarrassments, successes and failures.
The teens think they have figured it out all, but how they react to everything happening around them and their

Forget Nico: Falling for the Wrong Italian was a good 4 star read and book three in The Italian Saga.

This is a young adult read that tells Leda’s story as she grows up. We grow right along with her as she develops into a woman and experiences young love and heartbreak. She has a crush on Nico who never seems to notice her or is sometimes mean to her. She has her friend Alex who wants more with her but she doesn’t have the same feelings for him.

She continues to try and get Nico’s attention. Will

I really enjoyed reading this coming of age book. All the emotions, insecurities, and hormones that come with being a teenager were definitely felt by Leda and her friends. This story made me think back to when I was that age and I remember all those same feelings. Leda has liked Nico for as long as she can remember but does he feel the same way? These are questions coming from a teenager whose

Forget Nico: Falling for the Wrong Italian (Italian Teens novel 1, The Italian Saga) by Gaia B. Amman - Review by Gail Guerrero

Four stars

Forget Nico was like reliving my teenage years all over again. The high emotions and the forever changing hormones. Leda doesn’t know how she truly feels. Her emotions are so mixed up that she doesn’t know if she should forget Nico or love him. You can tell from the first chapter that the characters had a lot of growing to do. Though Leda was a little whiny

Gaia Amman was a new author for me, and I’ve not read any teenage books since I was one myself (which was a long time ago). I was a little worried I wouldn’t be able to connect with the characters since I”m old enough to be their mother. Boy was I wrong! This book was so beautifully written and such detail given to each character, I absolutely couldn't put this book down. Leda (Lee) is the main character we follow throughout her teen years. She is your normal teenage girl, with the same

I have had the pleasure of reading most of the other Italian Teens novels from Gaia B Amman and I have really enjoyed them. I always know I am in for a bit of traveling treat when I pick up a novel of hers. She manages to write with such passion and flare that you often feel as if you are right there with the main characters as they experience things first hand. This one was so unique though and I loved the story we got about Nico and Leda. Leda is very much like myself so it was neat to read ...more

Forget Nico by Gaia B. Amman a fabulous four-star read. This is number three in the Italian Saga series, but number one in the Italian Teens novels, I have read the whole Italian saga so don’t know if it could be read as stand-alone as I have read them as the series and enjoyed them as such. This is such a fun and interesting read, and when you realise that it’s the authors own story, it just makes it that much crazier. This was so much fun for me as I was a similar age in the 90s and visited ...more

Forget Nico: Falling for the Wrong Italian (Italian Teens novel 1, The Italian Saga) by Gaia B. Amman is a young adult/teen romance- full of all the teenage angst, drama, emotions, banter, antics, and discovery you would expect in a YA story. The series is a fictionalized memoir of the author’s younger years, set against the backdrop of Italy in the 1990’s. I have enjoyed this series and this story was no exception to the rule- although the teenage drama really frustrated me at times.

Forget Nico: Falling for the Wrong Italian is the third book in The Italian Saga by Gaia B. Amman. This was my first time reading a book in the series and I was not disappointed. It was easy to become attached to the main character Leda. This book is a young adult romance set in 1990s Italy. There is a lot of teenage drama and angst, which I don't really like to be perfectly honest, because it just seems really superficial, like they're too young, and there just wasn't really much plot. I appreciated a lot of what the main character Leda feels in that it speaks to the realities of life as a teenage girl and the mess of relationships and is thus insightful. At the same time, the pacing is a bit off and the relationship between ...more

Leda is a young girl growing up, facing all the things a young woman has to go through including finding her place in the world and finding love.

Leda falls in love with Nico, however Nico is a bad boy. They used to be friends but they grew further apart until Nico acts so strange she doesnt recognise him anymore. After Nico does something terrible to the school he is sent away to a different school.

But this doesnt stop Leda thinking about him and
