Wojciech Cejrowski, ekscentryk z fantazją i niezwykłym poczuciu humoru, podróżnik, fotograf, dziennikarz radiowy i telewizyjny (WC Kwadrans, Z kamerą wśród ludzi). Quite different from the 'Gringo...' - less adventurous, richer with thoughts. I feel like coming to dislike the type of humour represented. Nevertheless, this is the most convincing book about magic I have had the pleasure to read.

Wi ...more

Ocena: 7/10

Dziwna to książka.

Cejrowski to najwyższa podróżnicza marka w Polsce!

Very interesting story and a good read. The author recounts one of his journeys into the Amazon, where he reveals many secrets about the lives of the tribes, especially those of the Shamans. The anecdotes range from thought provoking to thoroughly entertaining, and I found myself respecting the wild people who may not know much about our culture, technology and so on, but they are sophisticated in their own way, with skills that man may never acquire again in the future.

When I was starting read this book I expect that it will be as well as previous author's books but it wasn't. I even stop reading for many days but my collegue tell me that second part is amazing so I come back to this book. I need to say: This second half books is the best book I red since many many years.

Thanks for author.

Expands on what whas written in the author's previous book "Gringo wśród dzikich plemion". At first the book seems to be less interesting than its predecessor, but actually it replaces the author's adventures with descriptions of the lifestyle and mentality of the Wild (indians not scarred by modern civilistaion).

A very addictive read.

Srednio mi sie podobala. Lekkie odczucie popluczyn po "Gringo...". A w koncowce Cejrowski juz zupelnie odplynal. Mialam wrazenie totalnego bajkopisarstwa.
