In this sequel the characters really start to learn about themselves, and thus learn how to better fight their enemies. This is a story about elves and humans versus evil, undead and Druulack, but really it is a story about hardships, relationships and how to overcome the difficulties life presents us. This sequel is darker, but also more mature than the first book in the trilogy, but that is what makes this book more gripping, more suspenseful and ultimately a much more compelling read. The Speaker is the perfect sequel to Silevethiel. There is action from beginning to end that keeps you on your toes, and the characters just become more lovable than ever.

I loved the first book in this series so much I was eager to begin reading book too. I do wish I'd gone back to read book one again immediately before reading this one as it had been sometime and it took me a bit to get back to the swing of the characters.

I love the way Andi writes such vivid descriptions of the elven lands, the imagery is exquisite and transports you away to strange and wonderful places. Be prepared for a lot of internal struggles within the main characters and lots of
