This book does a great job assisting the reader through the themes and concepts of Pilgrim's Progress, John Bunyan's timeless allegorical masterpiece. Each chapter has questions for study and further reflection and then a summary section with applications. Bradley frequently quotes from other Bunyan works, previous Bunyan commentators including George Cheever, Thomas Scott, Charles Spurgeon, John Gulliver and Alexander Whyte. While you don't NEED a study guide to read Pilgrim's Progress, it certainly can be helpful, and this is a good one to start with, though next time I think I might go right to some of the works on Pilgrim's Progress by the commentators mentioned above.
