Filmen rammer jo bogen spot on - og omvendt.

Loved it as a child
Oh how I wish this one had a better cover! Nope, it's not the PBS TV show - it's a Danish book with a wildly eccentric male protagonist. Buster comes from a long line of conjurers and boy, is he proud of it. He's a great character, very Euro, simply endearing.

Buster's main conflict is with an older boy who has been harassing Buster's little sister about having one leg shorter than the other. A sweet story about first love and being comfortable with one's own identity.
