This book is so heartbreakingly sad. My heart broke to a million pieces and I couldn't put them back. A very good read for a rainy afternoon. I love this so much. Killed me, this book did. I'm dead.

Can I call this antologi puisi? Well Tidak Ada New York Hari ini adalah kumpulan puisi pertama yang saya baca. Always been a fan of Aan Mansyur. Followed his twitter since years ago and always smitten by his words. Pendek, lugas, with a hint of romantic, yet still beautiful

I couldn’t feel any of featured poems because
1. never watched both AADC, and still not interested
2. no special person comes to my mind while reading it
3. i’m reading the digital version, hence all big pictures are divided into two

but the street photos are lovely, props to the photographer

I don't understand how Aan Mansyur could write such super sad and beautiful poems. it was just so beautiful but gloomy at the same time and at the end of the book you'll realize that your heart is scattered on the earth.

I love the movie so I have to buy the book. Beautiful poems and beautiful photos. I just wish the quality of the book (paper etc) was as good as imported poetry books. That'd make me give 5 stars.

I sort of like it and really like it.
3.5 stars I guess.

Was it because I read it between my shop keeping and queuing?

If I could ever get married to a book, this one, of such a gem so mind-blowing and heart-wrenching in all it's sheer simplicity and red, aching rawness; and that will never tire me ; will definitely be it. Thanks , Aan:)
ps: follow this book with a trip to new york yes you should.

Read this poetry book because Rangga read it and I regret nothing. This book is popular isn't only because of the movie but the poetry is good and I'm touched.

My limited brain fails to understand what he's saying. Literature has to be beautiful and meaningful, I catch the beauty but I'm not able to catch the meaning.

This book is a good companion to the movie. In itself it is still an interesting book. I guess it would have much more value for fans of the movie.

I read the translation first before the original, and it was pretty disappointing. There is a remaining feeling which hard to delivered, an utterance which unspoken. The euforia after the movie released is far below my expectation. I enjoy read Kukila compared to this one

It's been a while since I read poems; the very last book I read about poetry was by Lang Leav and honestly, I prefer her books to this. Nonetheless, this was pretty deep & raw. Gee, I guess I'm just not used to reading poetry in Indonesian.

Some of my favorites were: Batas, Pukul 4 Pagi, Tidak Ada Matahari Senja Di Sini, Pertanyaan Tentang Rindu & Ciuman Perpisahan. I found these quite relatable. And the B&W pics just made me fell in love deeper with NYC.

I might check out his other works since a

After it became populer because of "Ada Apa dengan Cinta 2", two months later I bought it. I only needed a couple hours to finish it on my way to Jakarta from Bandung. Simple and poetic in a sweet way. Uncomplicated, easy to understand. I really enjoy reading this collection of poetries. Unfortunately, I don't see correlation between the poetries and the photographs.

Poetries are fun, especially if you can relate to the pretty words. This one in particular is very very good.

Read this book in one sit. I'm not really a huge fan of poetry, I'm more to YA books. But, AADC2. So, yeah :p
