I was anxiously waiting to read this book. Patrick is my favorite O’Brien, and I’ve dreamt for him a special story. And Gloria Herrmann hasn’t disappointed me. She has written for Patrick the sweetest, the best and the perfect story.

Patrick is a widower. His wife Beth died, leaving him to raise their twins, Finn and Connor. From her death, he has built a wall around his heart, shutting down even his own family. The only thing that keeps him going on are his twins. What he doesn’t expect is to f

This is my first visit to the Cloverleaf series and even though I haven’t read the first two books yet, it is easy to understand the characters, the family dynamics and the lovely setting in Birch Valley. This is a feel good sweet romantic story, which is filled with poignancy, good old fashioned romance and a family reminds me of ‘The Waltons’, with a

Patrick is still suffering the loss of his wife Beth who died from injuries received in a car wreck four years ago. He is raising his twin sons Finn and Conner who have never known what it is to have a Mother.
Patrick isn’t happy with his meddling family most especially his sister Maggie who set him up on an internet dating site. He doesn’t need their help and doesn’t want to find someone to replace Beth, even though he made her a promise that he would go on with his life. Patrick is the oldest o

As the pitter-patter of tiny feet grows and excitement grows following the second book in the Cloverleaf series, the third in the series, I assure you is equally as lovely...

As we learn more about the most troubled O'Brien brother, we learn of his heartache of losing the woman he loved side by side with becoming a new father. So, seeing his brothers and sister settling down on the previous books was bound to stir up emotions!

Despite Patrick becoming a widow and single father four years ago, he

I really just love the O'Brian family. They are like the family next door that everyone knows and loves. With each book the story has went from strength to strength. The family have had their fair share of ups and downs, but as a family they all pull together.

This book was more insight on Patrick. He lost his wife four years ago in a car accident and on that day he become a father to twin boys. He has lived hos life around them and never moved on...until Amber Herrick moves back to town to help

Patrick's Promise was my favourite (so far) in the Cloverleaf Series.

Patrick is a single dad to twin four year old boys, trying to hold on to a promise he never thought he'd have to make. A promise he can't forget. A promise he never thought he'd have to deal with. A promise he now had to confront. A promise that he's never confessed to anyone he made, one that he's carrying the burden alone.

When a blast from the past enters with a flat tyre, the promise Patrick made to his wife seems even heavi

Where to start with this . First off this is for all 3 books. This was a wonderful , sweet, heartfelt series. I had my ugly cry a few times. And when it was all over with I felt happy yet so sad they were all over with. Book one Liam/Rachel start if there story was great, I laughed more than I think I should . B/c Rachel and her parking spots kidnapping. Then we have Maggie/Michael now they are already married. But Michael has his sights on a different prize than Maggie. I felt connected to Magg ...more

Well, it's decidedly so, Patrick is my favorite O'Brien brother so far! I really was excited to see where Gloria would take him and the twins, and she did a great job! Life does strange things through tragedy, and it brought this family together even more. Getting to know Patrick better and what makes him, him was so great. And learning about the new things in the others lives is always a bonus, as not to forget where we all started with the O'Brien's. Now what kind of shenanigans can Daniel get ...more

I thought this book would be better than it actualy was. I felt Patrick was a bit of a selfish ass on how he treated Amber. I didnt like how a good chunk of the book in the points of views of everyone else in the book. I didn't really feel like the relationship between Patrick and Amber grew .

Amazing Story of Lost and Love

This story had tears in my eyes more than I typically have in a book, however this books tears were good. The author Gloria Herrmann did a beautiful job of writing heartbreaking life experiences and the healing process. And then the eventual ability to live and love again. It was a great book and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to read a heart breaking and warming story

Enjoyed Patrick's Promise very much. It is nice to read about close family ties. Patrick lost his wife while in childbirth. He has twin boys as the result. He is a great father, son and brother. Now Patrick is frightened to fall in love with a woman that has returned to his hometown.

Patrick's Promise is the third installment in the Cloverleaf series, a clean romance quartet following the lives of the O'Brien siblings. In this book, we're met with the question of how you move on when life steals away the one you love.

Patrick, the oldest of the O'Brien siblings, has dealt with crushing grief everyday for the past four years. Just as his life was finally turning out perfectly, with his beloved wife, Beth about to give birth to their precious twins, she's killed by a drunk driv

Patrick's Promise by Gloria Herrmann

Since I started this series I have been eagerly awaiting for Patrick's story. Patrick is the strong, tall, handsome and silent type. He's strong, because he's been forced to be. After years of trying to conceive a baby, Patrick and his wife FINALLY find out they are expecting twins and feel their life is headed in the direction they had planned for it to go. That all changes after a terrible car crash leaving Patrick a single dad of newborn twin boys.

I am so in love with this book. I thought Liam's story was amazing. Oh my, Patrick just melts my heart. Patrick has suffered such a tragic loss of losing his wife while she was pregnant with his two sons. He is the best dad ever to the boys and they are just little angels. Patrick has not dated since Beth passed away nor has he wanted to. Patrick has kept to himself and not worried about replacing her. He is the most handsome man in town and all of the girls have always just fallen at his heels ...more

This is my third visit to the cloverleaf series and yet again it did not disappoint. In this story we get to read all about Patrick and to find out why he is so sad and down. He has been through hell but so has his family yet he pushes them away all the time blocking them from helping him through it. We also find out more about the rest of the family and a little more about Daniel who's book is next in the series. I would highly recommend this book to others as a fantastic read. I've been following Gloria Herrmann for a while now. I love her writing style, she makes you feel like you're in the book. She's descriptive and easy to read at the same time. The O'Brien's are great. They're a family in all the sense of the word; and just as family, they do tend to mend in other's matters.
I loved how she pictured Patrick's situation. You empathize with him, even though he can act out like a complete brat sometimes. I was so h

Loved getting into this awesome family. I could not put this book down. To love again after such great loss will teach you to not take a day with some you love for granted. Sometimes we are lucky enough to be reminded we are not promised tomorrow. Loved this story, loved this family. Thank you Gloria Herrmann.

I have been waiting for Patrick's story since I read the first! I was so glad with how it turned out. Although there were moments I was frustrated with him for not confiding in his family, but all in all it was another great book in this series! So far it was my favorite but let's see if it still stands after I read Daniel's book :)
