This was probably a 3.5, but it's not a 4-star volume.
It's just...the pacing. It's a 10-volume series so, yes, some things are going to have to happen quickly, and that's usually what most shorter manga series mess up. It's the opposite problem here. We had like eight volumes with more and more questions piling up and very few times when everyone was on the same page, and now it's all supposed to be wrapped up in this next volume?
Too much time spent on the memory loss cliche shit, and then the explanations we do get are always garbled or tossed out in two panels, and then we're moving on again.
I'm glad we've got our old Aki back, but I'm still hoping for good things for Jin and our angel boys.
Also, I still have one question that's been lingering since like the first volume: if Swallow turns into his little penguin-tengu form when a virgin touches him, who exactly was Aki bangin' before all of this? Or does that only apply to humans? Honestly not super important but yeah.
